Welcome to Intercessors for Israel

Psalm 122:6 tells us to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem."

Mortal Danger

The Condition of Jews in Exile

Mortal Danger is a booklet that was compiled from the final messages Eliyahu Ben-Haim gave before he passed. It is more and more relevant as Israel engages in the current war.

We are offering it as a free download and we pray that it will uplift and encourage you in these troubled times.

Friday Prayer Points

March 21, 2025

  1. Praise:

In Shabbat's prophetic portion, we read of the connection between God doing His will on earth and Him wanting intercessors to ask Him to do it. In Ezekiel 36, a most vital chapter to understand why God is restoring Israel today, he states what He will sovereignly do about 20 times, yet at the end of this chapter He adds this: Thus says Lord YHWH; I will be asked by the house of Israel, to do this [that which He has said in this chapter] for them… (Ezek. 36:37a)

    • Lord God, we praise You to read that You wait on prayer before You fulfill Your will as that is not something we would have dared to consider if You had not revealed it to us (Jer. 33:3; Amos 3:7).

    • Thank You that this process is exactly why Messiah Yeshua taught us to pray for Your kingdom to come on earth like it is already settled in eternity (Matt. 6:10; Luke 11:2).

    • Abba, thank You that in Messiah Yeshua gentiles are grafted into Israel's cultivated olive tree (Rom. 11:24a) and thus, as part of the house of Israel, they can also ask for this to be done (1 John 5:14-15)!

    • We bless You for reading once again in this prophetic portion that when You have spoken a thing we can be confident that it will come to pass (Ezek. 35:36; cp. Num. 23:19).

Thoughts on Corporate Intercession

Shalom friends,

The following thoughts on corporate intercession are my own and while they obviously impact my position as director of Intercessors for Israel [IFI] the rest of the leadership team may not agree with all that follows.

I have been involved with Intercessors for Israel almost from the beginning of my time in Israel in 1989. Yet even before that God guided me to lead prayer meetings and teach on intercession. I have had the privilege of being mentored by, and sitting under the teachings of, many of the great modern-day prayer warriors – most of whom are now in glory – and have learned from them and from experience what corporate intercession can look like to be very effective in seeing His kingdom come on earth. May you be challenged by what follows, and be open to hear our Good Shepherd's voice if He is speaking to you.

God Challenges the Church: Do you trust what the New Testament says about the Old Testament? - Part Three

Those in the Church who reject the recognition of, and respect that the New Testament gives the Tanach (the Old Testament), usually end up with unbiblical views on many doctrines which lead to an unbiblical understanding of important current events. Obviously, much of this is in relation to the Church's view of the place of Israel in God's current plans – and much of that comes from a misunderstanding of God's essential nature which, as this teaching has previously pointed out, has its foundational revelation in the Hebrew Scriptures.
