1. We blessed God for His promises.

    • "Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise...LORD [YHWH] shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory...LORD shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, a small one a strong nation: I LORD will hasten it in his time."

      Isaiah 60:18-22

    • We are confident of Your Word coming to pass because Your Word is as faithful as You are.

    • We bless You for Your faithfulness, truthfulness and dependability.

  2. We have been blessed with rain showers recently in Israel. We still need much more, but we see this as a good sign.

    • We bless You for opening up the heavens over this - Your land.

      "You, God, did send a plentiful rain, whereby You did confirm Your inheritance, when it was weary."

      Psalm 68:9

    • We are pressing in to ask You for more, Lord.

      "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit."

      James 5:16b-18

    • "Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in LORD your God: for He has given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month."

      Joel 2:21-23

    • Abba, let it rain in the right places and fill up both the Sea of Galilee and all of Israel's underground aquifers.

    • Let much snow accumulate on the heights of this land - especially on Mount Hermon.

  3. We are most likely looking at an Israeli military incursion into Gaza. Hamas and other Gazan terror groups have been shooting mortars and rockets into Israel in great numbers for many days and most Israelis are saying enough is enough.

    • Lord, we Israelis confess that the problems we are facing is a result of our sin as a nation in dividing Your land and scattering Your people during the Gaza withdrawal (Joel 3:1-2).

    • Forgive us and arise O God.

      "Let the priests, the ministers of LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Your people, O LORD, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will LORD be jealous for His land, and pity His people."

      Joel 2:17-18

    • Thank You for Your miraculous protection over this past week when hundreds of rockets have been launched at Israel and no one has been killed.

    • When the IDF goes in, please let the government release them to finish the job and destroy Hamas totally.

    • Give the IDF's commander in chief, Gabi Ashkenazi, an anointing to wage war like You did with Gideon and Joshua and so many others in Your Word.

    • Do not allow this current Israeli government to use an incursion into Gaza for any political gain whatsoever.

    • Abba, let the fear of Israel's God fall on Israel's enemies.

      "Behold, all they that were incensed against you [Israel] shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them, and not find them, even them that contended with you: they that war against you shall be as nothing."

      Isaiah 41:11-12

    • Let Israel's leadership be more concerned to protect Israel's citizens than the citizens of enemy nations.

  4. Israel's current leadership has forgotten how to defend this nation. They have sent out representatives to ask the nations to allow us to defend ourselves.

    • Give us leadership that will allow You to move and remove all those who are a hindrance to Your plans to glorify Yourself through this nation.

    • Remove from leadership positions all the Sons of Greece and raise up the Sons of Zion at this time (Zechariah 9:13).

    • Hinder all media that manipulates the real picture here - and let people see who are the innocent and who are the real terrorists.

    • Raise up leaders who will be not ashamed to exercise authority and be clear on Israel's right to defend herself and live (Zechariah 12:5-6).

  5. Iran is deeply involved with Hamas in Gaza - and is a very dangerous part of this whole scenario for Israel. Yet we have seen God answering some of our prayers in this area of the Iranian threat.

    • Thank You Lord for saving many Iranians. May the numbers getting saved increase way beyond the 500 plus per month that we are hearing about.

    • Thank You God for severely shaking Iran's economy as the price of oil tumbles.

    • Bless You for causing amny Iranians to be fed up with their radical leadership.

    • Since Ahmadinejad comes in the same spirit of Sennacharib, we declare over him what You said to that ancient leader who also tried to destroy Israel:

      "I know your abode, your going out, and your coming in, and your rage against Me. Because you rage against me, and your noise is come into My ears, therefore will I put My hook in your nose, and My bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came."

      Isaiah 37:28-29

    • Lord, deal with Iran's leadership who despise what You are doing in Israel for Your holy name's sake.

      "Thus says the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to My servant Jacob. They shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards. Yes, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am LORD their God."

      Ezekiel 28:25-26

    • Have mercy on our brothers and sisters in Iran - and in all the nations that are enemies of Israel (Hab. 3:2). Protect and defend them and set them free of any replacement theology.

    • Whatever it takes, Lord of Hosts, prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons.

  6. Israeli elections are being held February 10th. Although Benjamin Netanyahu [Bibi] has made some compromising statements, still he and the Likud party are the closest candidates to a biblical mindset - who are electable.

    • Again we ask that You would give Israel a government through whom You can glorify Yourself.

    • Strengthen Bibi against compromising on biblical principles and promise.

    • Work deeply in his heart and prepare him - and his household - to lead this nation.

    • Raise up a team of wise counselors and enable Bibi to hear them. Deafen him to counsel that is not of You (Proverbs 15:22; 19:21; 20:18).

    • Force all of the political parties to clearly state their political platforms and plans on how to accomplish that.

    • As You have promised, raise up leaders who have a heart open to Your Word.

      "Their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach Me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach Me, says LORD? And you shall be My people, and I will be your God."

      Jeremiah 30:21-22

    • We remind You of all Your other promises to give Israel godly leadership when we returned to the land (Isaiah 1:26; Jeremiah 3:15; 23:3-4; etc.).

  7. The worldwide economic shaking is causing many Jews - especially in the West - to consider making aliyah - coming home to Israel. Hallelujah!

    • "Thus says LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west country. I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness."

      Zechariah 8:7-8

    • Bless Nefesh b'Nefesh as they have developed a way to get young Jewish families to come back to Israel - and most stay.

    • Use the economic shaking to cause many Jewish businessmen to make aliyah.

    • Keep Israel's economy strong to be able to absorb all the returning Jews.

    • You said that the wealth of the nations would eventually flow into Israel at a time when she is being built (Isaiah 60:4-5,9). However You choose - we ask You to do exactly that at this time.

    • Wake up more Messianic Jews - especially those who have only Jewish fathers [they are now legally entitled to Israeli citizenship] - to come home.

    • Cause the next government to make aliyah one of its top priorities.

  8. We have three weeks to go before IFI's International Prayer Conference and we sense the heat from the enemy has been turned up.

    • Lord Yeshua, we hide ourselves in You - our stronghold and defense.

    • "The name of LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run into it, and are safe".

      Proverbs 18:10

    • Lord, for all those intercessors who are supposed to be here - bring them and remove all stumbling stones - whether financial, physical or spiritual.

    • Help the conference leadership and congregation come into a quick unity of mind and spirit.

      "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!...for there LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore"

      Psalms 133:1,3

    • Give the leadership wisdom in leading in prayer and in what to preach.
