Abba we come to you in Yeshua's name, we bless You for who You are, and You have become our redeemer, the redeemer of our families. This is a new day; we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

  1. We have a newly formed government

    Thank the Lord for it. Maybe a problematic one, but bless the Lord for it anyway. Political columnists generally give 100 days of grace to any newly elected P.M.  or President, Netanyahu does not get even 100 seconds. He is already criticized by the media, he is a hated figure amongst them, and therefore, we really need to pray for him. The pressure that is upon Netanyahu will be enormous - let us pray that he will be able to lead Israel and have a government for such a time as this.

    • Father we bless You for this government, thank You for a government for such a time as this. We pray that Netanyahu will be focused on You, that he will have a listening ear to the things that You want for this nation. Help him to stand to do what is right for this nation in the face of political manipulation. Help him to know how to release responsibility to those beneath him. Release him from the temptation to be a macro manager. Some advice that he received from the political columnists in Israel is really good and sensible, please Father we ask You that he will have the discernment to know what is good and what is not good for himself and for this nation. Help him Father not to just be a politician, raise him up to be a statesman. In Yeshua's name we pray.

    • We ask You Father also for his protection and that of his family, especially for his wife for emotional and psychological strength. Help him with his work and the enormous responsibility that You have put in his hands.

    • Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

      Psalm 1

      Father we ask you that the people that surround Netanyahu will give him good counsel and will not lead him astray. Give Netanyahu discernment as to whom to listen to, help him to delight in the law of the Lord, give him strength to stand up for what is right, like it says in scripture, he shall be planted by the rivers of water and whatever he does prospers.

  2. Lieberman - the new Foreign Minister

    His speeches have been seriously distorted by the media. He has said all the right things, but the media portrays him as a "scorner of peace". He said that Israel will stand by all the signed agreements that she has signed with the Palestinians but they must comply to their side of the bargain too. This has been Netanyahu's policy for many years - reciprocity. And since the Palestinians have never been faithful to keep any part of their bargain Israel does not have to comply with any signed agreement. This, the media construe as working against peace, which is actually not true. Nations are hearing what they want to hear rather than the truth. Lieberman does have a thuggish personality, but he is honest and he speaks the truth. Nations need to have an ear to hear the truth! We know that the world is eventually going to come up against Jerusalem, but this is not the right time yet. We need to pray on his behalf that Lieberman will be able to stand the onslaught of the media.

    • Thank you Father for Lieberman, thank You that he speaks the truth, even though the nations do not want to hear what he has to say. We pray that he will not be coerced by the USA, give him strength to stand against the nations if necessary on behalf of Israel. We pray for his salvation, let him realize that the enemies of Israel do not want peace with Israel but its annihilation. Give him wisdom. Help him not to fear man and to put his whole trust in You.

    • Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

      Jeremiah 17: 7-8

  3. Media

    The Media these days have so much power to manipulate public opinion, they alter the facts, and they speak in half truths and even lies. They portray the news in a slanted and politically motivated way. Lieberman is portrayed by them as a bull in a china shop. We need to pray that the Media will not be against Netanyahu, against God or against the truth.

    Father the Media is so biased. We pray against this manipulating spirit that is distorting the news. They say something which is not true to sell newspapers, and then, a few days later, when the information was found not to be true, no body is actually interested in it. The damage has been done. We pray Father that You would muzzle the media from falsehood; help them to portray the news in an unbiased and truthful way. We ask You Father that You would raise Media people that would speak the truth, set up a standard of righteousness that people of this nation will be delivered from this terrible manipulation.

  4. The economy

    We are going to concentrate on the economy of this nation. The G-20 has met in London for their summit, and Praise the Lord we still do not have a one world economic system yet, like many believers have actually feared. The Israeli situation is very serious, but not as serious as the rest of the world. Many are loosing their jobs and shops are loosing business.

    There are about 20 families in Israel that control 85% of the economy in this country. These are so called "tycoons" who have invested heavily on the stock market and in real estate in other countries. This really is gambling, and now they are loosing millions of dollars. The government in this country may try to rescue them rather than rescue the thousands of those that really need protection. We need to protect those that cannot protect themselves, rather than bailing out these greedy tycoons.

    • Father, give wisdom to Netanyahu's government on how to resolve the difficulties that we are facing in Israel with the economy. Help them to find a way to resolve the situation. You are an economist and You have, in the past, given wisdom to Joseph, for example, on how to feed not only the government of his time, but the whole nation. You gave him a plan of action. Please Abba, give a plan of action to Netanyahu's government on how to restore, balance and maintain the economy of Israel in good health in spite of what is going on throughout the nations.

  5. Aliyah

    This is connected with the economic realities throughout the world. When the economies collapses around the nations, thousands of Jews flock to Israel and make Aliyah. It is a proven fact that when Aliyah increases in this country, the economy of Israel strengthens. The New absorption minister is a relatively new immigrant and therefore, let's pray that she will encourage immigration to this country. As it says in Psalm 107, let us pray that Aliyah will come from the four corners of the earth.

    • So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. Now they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest.

      Ruth 1:22

      There were financial benefits for Naomi to come to the land of Israel, there is no doubt that she came to Israel due to a famine in Moab and the fact that Israel was having a harvest.

    • "Father help people to realize that they need to come to Israel with what they have, before is too late. Help them Father to see the financial benefits of making Aliyah. Help the Absorption Ministry to see the financial benefits of having Aliyah, and how strategic this is to the nation. Millions of people should be moving in mass immigration. European anti-Semitism is exploding, help people to realize the danger of staying, their lives might be at risk, encourage them oh Lord to come back. Israel is a place of refuge for Jews from all over the world. Open your people's understanding to that fact; encourage them to make that move. Naomi saw that her hope was in Israel and not in Moab."
    • "Father we pray for Eli Yishai, the new Minister of the Interior who is the gate keeper of this nation. Help him to raise a standard or truth and righteousness, help him to encourage Aliyah, to make it easier for people to come to the Land, rather than harder, Yeshua make it easier for Messianic Jews to come back, may Eli turn a blind eye to them and let them in without any difficulty."

  6. Security and redemption this Pesach (Passover)

    Pesach is a very special time for Jewish people across the globe. They gather together in families and bless the Lord for their redemption from Egypt.

    Please pray in two ways,

    • For the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah to the Jewish people. Every Pesach we break the aphikoman (the middle Matza of three) that represents the Messiah, may the Lord open the eyes of the Jewish people to see Him whom they have pierced.
      "Father reveal Yourself to Your people, remove the veil that blinds their eyes in this Land and around the world. This festival represents the redemption of Your people from Egypt, and our redemption from sin and death. We look forward Father to the national redemption that is prophesied in Your Word - that all of Israel will be saved. Removing the leaven in our midst, areas in which we need to remove the uncleanness, and seek the hope of Israel (Yeshua) in our lives."

    • A few years back, on the night of the Seder Pesach, during the break before the meal, I checked the news and had been a terrorist attack that killed 40 people at a Seder in a hotel in Netanya. May the Lord, in his infinite mercy protect His people this Pesach.

      Pray for the protection of the Jewish people across the globe, claim the Blood of the Lamb on them, as it says in Revelation 12:11: and they overcame him (the enemy) by the blood of the Lamb (like during Pesach) and by the word of their testimony.

      "We pray against terrorist attacks at this time, and we ask that You will spoil their attempts and their plans to harm us. Abba, bring redemption to your people, bring them back to the land of Israel and reveal yourself to them, beShem Yeshua HaMeshiach (in the name of Yeshua our Messiah).
