1. Praise awaits You in Zion.

    • May we delight You this morning as we intercede for Your kingdom purposes to be done here in Zion. 

  2. We interceded for Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu, and all of his counselors, and we gave thanks for how Bibi handled himself in his meeting with US President Barak Hussein Obama this past week.

    • Thank You for answering our prayers and enabling Bibi not to fold under the pressure.
    • Use this answer to encourage intercessors to continue to knock, seek and ask for Your will to be done in Israel - for Your glory. And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.  (Malachi 1:5)
    • Bless You that Netanyahu did not agree to a "two-state" solution.
    • Please strengthen Bibi and his team for the days ahead - as they come under continual pressure to advance the so-called peace process.
    • Raise up more vocal support for Bibi in this nation - especially in the media.
    • Establish the works of this government.(Psalms 90:17)
    • We praise You for having 76 US senators send a letter to Obama encouraging him to continue to stand with Israel and not push her into any dangerous positions.

  3. The month of June is full of major events that will impact Israel, the Middle East and the world. There are elections in both Lebanon (7th) and Iran (12th). And on June 4th, US President Obama is scheduled to make a major policy speech in Cairo, Egypt about America and her relationship with Moslem nations and to present his view of how the Israeli-Palestinian "peace process" should look.

    • For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
      Jeremiah 8:11
    • God of Israel, hedge in the America team of Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, special Middle East envoy George Mitchell and National Security Advisor James Jones as they try to tell Israel what she must and must not do with this - Your land.
    • A man's heart devises his way: but LORD directs his steps. (Proverbs 16:9) Do this with Obama - especially on June 4th.
    • Visit Obama, whether in dreams and visions or through men who can speak truth without compromise and anoint his ears to hear what Your Spirit is warning him.
    • Let Arab leaders who are much more concerned about Iran's drive for nuclear weapons, and not the Israeli-Palestinian issue, speak to Obama to get his thinking readjusted.
    • Lord, scatter those who are trying to make a name for themselves at Israel's expense.(Genesis 11:6-8)
    • Send an angel to block Obama from even making this speech if it will end up cursing Israel.(Numbers 22:32)
    • Cause American intercessors to recognize that June 4th is another vital day in which the destiny of the US is once more on Your scales.
    • Anoint them to pray and not faint.(Luke 18:1)

    • We proclaimed:

      For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.
      Joel 3:1-2

  4. Today's headlines report that the top US military official says that Iran obtaining nuclear weapons would be a calamity for the world. Yet, he is not in favor of stopping them through a military attack. He suggests stronger international sanctions - which could work if the world were unified behind them - which they are not.

    • Lord, give Israel wisdom and timing if she is to be Your instrument to attack and stop Iran from this super dangerous path. You are My battle axe and weapons of war: for with you will I break in pieces the nations, and with you will I destroy kingdoms; (Jeremiah 51:20)
    • Make Netanyahu and his advisors as the children of Issachar, who were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; (1 Chronicles 12:32a)
    • Give Israel's military leaders - Barak, Ya'alon and Ashkenazi - wisdom from on high.
    • God, do something miraculous - something which shows Iran that they are fighting You. Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered: let them also that hate Him flee before Him... Rebuke the company of spearmen...scatter the people that delight in war. (Psalms 68:1,30)
    • Raise up intercessors in the Iranian Church who see the very dangerous path their nation is treading by trying to wipe Israel off the map. Anoint them to intercede for both their nation and Israel.(Ezekiel 22:30-31)
    • Anoint and hide all Israeli spies in Iran! Let them find the Rahabs to help them.(Joshua 2)
    • Protect the Iranian Jewish community (approx. 25,000) and bring them to come home. Fear not: for I am with you: I will bring your seed from the east... (Isaiah 43:5a)
    • Continue to use Israel's President Shimon Peres to speak about this dangerous Iranian path to all he comes into contact with. Thank You for the good job he has been doing.
    • Send division into the Islamic world - especially between Sunni and Shi'ite.(Psalm 129:5)

  5. We prayed into the elections in both Lebanon and Iran.

    • Lord, use the results - which appear to be a win for Islamic fundamentalist forces - to wake up the West to the real direction that the Moslem world is taking.
    • And wake up Your Church to see the spirit of anti-Christ on the march in this resurgence of Koranic Islam. [Islam denies that Yeshua is God the Son, that He came in the flesh. John clearly identifies this spirit as "anti-Christ".](1 John 4:1-3)
    • Have mercy on the peoples of both Iran and Lebanon.
    • Since You are the One who raises up and casts down rulers, we ask that You overrule in these elections and glorify Yourself through the results. (Daniel 2:20-21; 4:25)

  6. Today is Yom Yerushali'im, Jerusalem Day, yet because it is a Friday - and many are preparing for the Shabbat, Israel celebrated Jerusalem's reunification yesterday.

    • I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of LORD. Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together. There the tribes go up, the tribes of LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I...say, Peace be within you. Because of the house of LORD our God I will seek your good.
      Psalm 122:1-9
    • Thank You that yesterday both Netanyahu and Peres very strongly declared that Jerusalem will never be divided again. We agree.
    • And thank You that in 1967 You sovereignly reunited Jerusalem.(Psalm 102:13)
    • Strengthen Israel's resolve to keep this city united - despite world pressure to divide it.
    • Lord, we recognize that it is You who are challenging the world with this city. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:2-3)
    • We declare Your love and passion for this Your chosen place. Thus says LORD of hosts; I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great zeal. And I am very displeased with the nations that are at ease: for I was a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction. Therefore thus says LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies. My house shall be built in it...and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem. (Zechariah 1:14-16)
    • Abba, we plead with You to reveal to Your born-again children that it was in so-called "Arab East Jerusalem" that Yeshua, the King of the Jews, did all His miracles and signs and teachings in the presence of the Jewish people.

    • Also, it was in this same area of Jerusalem that Messiah Yeshua was crucified, buried, rose from the dead and ascended to His throne on high - and it is to this same area that He is about to return! Hallelujah! Come quickly Lord Yeshua.

    • We bless Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat and ask that You would strengthen and use him to build up this city for Your holy name's sake.
    • When LORD shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory.
      Psalms 102:16

  7. We ended by interceding for the return [aliyah] and salvation of the children of Israel. We encourage you to pray for those Jews in your nation to come home. Please include that Messianic Jews would be open to hear their Shepherd's voice concerning aliyah.

    • Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when LORD brings back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
      Psalms 14:7; 53:6
