He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young. Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance? Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or as His counselor has taught Him? With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding? Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing.

Isaiah 40:11-15a

Praise the Lord! Everything is miniscule compared to Him and yet He is mindful of us and our prayers!

1. The Iranian election is today. There has been massive infighting between the current president and the "reformer". Ironically, Ahmadinejad has compared His opponent's tactics in the elections to Hitler. The "reformer" would still pursue nuclear weapons, but in a less confrontational way. Pray God's will be done in the election that is critical in the life of Israel.

   • Thank you Lord that you give us the assurance that no situation is out of your control.

   • No matter who wins, pray that the intentions of Iran would remain exposed.

   • Pray for mercy on the people of Iran who have no idea the curses their leadership is bringing on their nation.

   • Pray that there would be no backlash against believers or Jews in Iran after the election has concluded.

   • Pray that confusion would be sent into the camp of the enemy and that the division already there would continue.

     Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion who seek to destroy my life; Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor who wish me evil.

     Psalm 40:14

   • Pray for God's choice to come forward, according to HIS great plan.

2. There is a softening around the world of the language towards Iran and the nuclear issue. It started with Obama in Cairo and it has continued with nations around the world. Secretary of State Clinton who said diplomacy would not work before the election, has come into line with this "softening". Israel is the only nation still vocal about the real and present danger of a Nuclear Iran.

   • Pray the world would wake up from the slumber it is falling into.

   • Pray that Israel would not fall in with the rest of the world and be duped into softening it's position.

   • Pray Israel will continue to see clearly the threat and take the necessary steps to prepare.

   • Pray grace upon the world so that the Truth may expose the lies that are prominent concerning Iran.

   • Pray that Israel would speak with strength and conviction bringing to light key pieces of information necessary to reveal truth.

   • Pray that believers around the world would stand up and speak against this massive deception that threatens Israel's existence.

   • Pray that Israel would continue to have a sense of the timing of when they should act.

3. The issue of settlements has become the principle weapon used against Israel by her enemies. This issue is being presented as the sole reason why peace is not being achieved and even why the whole Middle East is the way it is. This weapon has been given to her enemies by President Obama; the one who calls America Israel's "unshakable" ally. Israel needs wisdom on how to combat this weapon. Israel needs to know that this is a lie and that the promise of God takes precedence before anything else.

   • Thank the Lord that His promises are true and that He has established Israel on the Land of our fathers.

   • Pray that the wisdom of the Lord would be on the government to know how to combat this particular lie which has rallied Israel's enemies.

   • In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD.

     Isaiah 54:14, 17- 14

   • Thank You that this weapon WILL not prosper against Your people.

   • Prosper those who believe that this Land was given to the sons of Israel and who are building according to that belief.

4. PM Netanyahu will be giving a major speech on Sunday concerning his government's policy towards the peace process. This speech will be watched by leaders around the world and within Israel. Reactions will be swift to this speech, so he needs real wisdom on what to say. Even within His coalition, there may be a strong reaction because there are severe differences of opinion on what should be said.

   • Pray that Netanyahu would speak the truth in strength, but with Godly wisdom which would confound worldly wisdom.

   • The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. (Proverbs 21:1) Fulfill this in Netanyahu on Sunday.

   • Pray that Netanyahu would know who he should listen to and who he should not....when he should listen to counsel and when we should not. Let him be discerning about where the Lord's counsel is coming from.

   • Pray that he and His government would be strengthened and established through this speech and that the enemy would not be allowed to use it for his downfall.

   • Pray that Netanyahu would receive encouragement from places he never expected and that this support would let him know that he does not stand alone.

   • Pray for his safety and security before, during, and after this major address.

5. We must continue to declare the Lord's promises for this nation and its people. The Lord promised to bring back His people to this Land and to prosper them here. Doors are closing and relationships are strained between Israel and nations all over the world. Israel's dependence was and always will be on the Lord.

   • Thank the Lord for fulfilling prophesies right before our eyes with Aliyah. We pray the Lord would begin to stir more to come back to this Land.

   • Therefore say to the house of Israel, thus says the Lord GOD: I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you. And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations. Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds thatwere not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations. Not for your sake do I do this, says the Lord GOD, let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel! Thus says the Lord GOD: On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt. The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who passes by. So they will say, This land that was desolate has become like the Garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited. Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.

     Ezekiel 36:22-36

   • The Lord promised that the desert would bloom, so we pray the Lord would bring life to the Negev (southern desert).

   • May the whole nation burst forth in abundant life as talked about in Ezekiel 36.

   • May the ancient cities in Israel be rebuilt.

   • As the Lord brings the people back, pray that they find true salvation in Yeshua when they arrive here.

   • Let the vision to bring provision with them and build this Land consume Jews in other nations.

   • Pray that the Body of Messiah in Israel take up its priestly position before the people of Israel. Pray that the Body here would realize that it is supposed to be the head and not the tail.

6. A plea must go up for the sanctification of the Body around the world. The revelation of Yeshua, and the reputation of the God of Israel should be the Body's top priority. Instead we follow the desires of our flesh, nice words, and false doctrines like replacement theology. The Body must be sanctified in order to be witnesses of the truth and so that Israel will be moved to jealousy.

   • Pray that deception would be taken from the Body.

   • Pray that the Body would stop profaning the Lord's name and soiling His reputation in the nations.

   • Pray for a spirit of repentance to fall on the Body.

   • Pray that a refining would begin to take place that will not stop until the Body is purified.

7. Finally, we prayed for the encouragement of the people who pray constantly around the world. There is a never ending battle to fight off discouragement as an intercessor. We prayed that those who stand in prayer would be strengthened and refreshed to continue this important work so that the Lord may be glorified!
