And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. Thank the Lord for His Promises to Israel!

1. The current talks with Iran are a point of concern for all intercessors. The plan presented by the Atomic Energy Agency will be accepted or rejected today by Iran. Iran could agree to it as a stalling tactic and at the same time limit Israel's options. The true motives of all involved need to be exposed.

   • Pray that the veil of deception would be ripped away from the situation.

   • We prayed for dissention and confusion to be thrown into the camp of the enemy.

   • Pray that the enemies will be led into the very traps that they are laying for others.

     Swallow up, O Lord, and divide their tongues; for I have seen violence and fighting in the city.

     Psalms 55:9

   • Pray that the mercy of the Lord would be over the whole situation.

   • Pray that the hearts of men would be revealed and that we would be delivered from a spirit of unholy compromise.

2. American envoy George Mitchell is planning to return to Israel next week to try and further the American administration's plan for peace. So far, Netanyahu has offered a compromise aimed at starting talks, while Abbas only increases his demands.

   • Pray that Mitchell's eyes would see the reality of what is really happening here and who is the one standing in the way of peace.

   • Ask the Lord that Israel would not seek to appease or get favor from man, but to stand on truth.

   • Lord, cause our enemies to become greedy and show what they are really after.

   • Make the pressure that Mitchell plans to put on Israel to become impotent.

   • Pray that Israel's leaders would be strong in resisting spiritual bribes.

3. And Saul armed David with his armor, and he put a helmet of bronze on his head. He also armed him with scaled armor. And David girded his sword on his armor, and he tried to go. But he had not tested it. And David said to Saul, I cannot go with these, for I have not tested them. And David put them off him. And he took his staff in his hand, and chose five smooth stones out of the brook for himself, and put them in a shepherd's vessel which he had, even in a bag. And his sling was in his hand. And he drew near the Philistine.

   1 Samuel 17:38-40

   The Goldstone report was approved through the UN Human Rights Commission this past week. Israel needs the correct, God inspired weapons to combat this attack. America has said the report is flawed and Goldstone is challenging them to say where. Israel is discussing setting up its own fact-finding commission into Operation Cast Lead.

   • Pray that brilliant voices in America would come forward to challenge the report.

   • Pray the Lord would expose the true nature of the report and the motivation behind it.

   • Give the Israeli military leaders the wisdom to know if or how they should appoint the commission. Pray that they would not be simply bowing to outside pressure.

   • Please pray that Israelis around the world would not live in fear of the effects of the report.

   • Pray that Israel would not shrink from the battle, but be equipped to fight.

   • In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they shall surely gather together, not by Me; whoever shall gather against you, he shall fall by you. Behold, I have created the smith who blows the coals in the fire, and who brings out a tool for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against you shall be blessed; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.

     Isaiah 54:14-17

4. As intercessors, it is our job to lift our leaders before the Lord through prayer. We prayed for leaders of Israel specifically; that the Lord would reveal Himself to them and that they would be equipped to do the work set before them.

   • We prayed for FM Liberman

     • Thank the Lord for his non-conventional approach to the Foreign Ministry

     • Pray that he would be a man of integrity

     • Pray that he would be strong in strength and action

   • Prayer was lifted for Danny Ayalon Deputy FM

     • Thank the Lord for his clarity and boldness.

     • Let there be a Godly influence on him that will flow into the Foreign Ministry

     • Pray that there would be unity among the leaders with the goal of building up Israel.

   • The Defense Minister Ehud Barak was lifted before the Lord.

     • Restore the boldness that he had as a soldier.

     • Give him wisdom and strategy to push back the enemies of Israel.

     • Pray that he would not act with political motive, but from a God given desire to see the people of Israel defended.

   • We prayed for the PM Netanyahu

     • Pray that he would be free from manipulation.

     • We ask that he would stand in the truth of God's Word.

     • Thank you Lord that He is the Prime Minister and not someone else.

     • We pray that he would have peace in his house.

   • Help all the leaders to know when to speak and when not to.

   • Pray that the ambassadors to the UN and the US would have the strength to represent the people of Israel well.

   • We pray that the Supreme Court would seek to execute true justice and not seek to please Man. We pray that they would not seek to exert and unholy authority over this nation.

5. After a 5 year drought, Israel is in desperate need of water.

   • Pray that Israel would see an abundant outpouring of water, but not in a destructive way.

   • Pray that the water would come in the right places.

   • Pray that rain would come so that God would receive the glory and not man's efforts.

   • Open the heavens Lord so that this nation would flourish according to your Word!

   • Pray that the government would have sound judgment concerning a long-term water plan for Israel.

   • Please pray that Israel would be a the Israeli population would be good stewards of the water we have.

6. We ended our time, by praying for the congregations in Israel and abroad. May the Lord reveal Himself in a new way to us all this weekend.

   • And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions. And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slave women in those days.

     Joel 2:28-29

   • And it shall be, whoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved; for salvation shall be in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as Jehovah has said, and in the remnant whom Jehovah shall call.
