Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withers before it grows up: With which the mower fills not his hand; nor he that binds sheaves his bosom. Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.

Psalms 129:1-8

  1. The talks with the Iranian regime is still a source of great concern. The Iranians, through agreeing to talks, are trying to throw a veil over their clearly expressed intentions. Britain and France at this point are standing firm on the deal presented by the nations to Iran, but America seems to be wavering. The nations must be faced with a clear decision. To that end, we prayed:

    • That is "deal" dies on the table and truth is seen.

    • Bring a radical change in thinking so that there would no longer be a desire to believe in something that is clearly a lie.

    • That the Lord would bring forth as "complete" revelation of motives so that we are not dealing with things in a piecemeal fashion.

    • Let the Body around the world rise up and bring light to their governments' eyes.

    • Thank you Lord for the shaking that has happened in Iran, and we ask that the shaking would increase.

    • And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols He shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake terribly the earth.

      Isaiah 2:17-19

    • Shake the physical nation of Iran so that the evil would be swallowed and so that the terror of the God of Israel would come upon that government.

    • We acknowledge that the Lord's power is greater and that He loves the Iranian people. Have mercy on them Lord and turn them to you.

  2. A boat with a huge cache of arms bound for Lebanon was captured by the Israeli Navy this week. It was travelling under a false flag and all evidence points to Iran being it's origin. This is a huge violation of international law and it needs to be recognized by the world. We prayed:

    • Thank you Lord for alerting Israel and that this threat was taken away.

    • Thank you Lord that the intelligence agencies were effective.

    • Expose any other similar operations if they are being planned.

    • Instill fear in the enemies of Israel through this success.

    • That Israel would be able to properly use this situation to bring revelation and light to the world about Iran's wider goals.

  3. This past week, the Goldstone report was adopted in an overwhelming fashion in the UN General Assembly. Matthew 5:37 - But let your communication be, Yes, yes; No, no: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil. Britain and France abstained from voting, which is in many ways worse than voting for it. The report is now being pushed to the Security Council. We prayed:

    • That the vote would be vetoed in the Security Counsel

    • Let this report die so that it doesn't go any further.

    • For the sake of the nations who have the veto, give them the boldness to veto this report.

    • Defend Israel against the counsel of our enemies.

    • Bring the plans of man to nothing and make what man meant for evil become something good for Israel.

    • Highlight the implications of this report to other nations who will be directly affected.

    • Lord, make a declaration of truth that would override this declaration of man.

  4. PA leader Abbas said he will not run in the next election. The two leading candidates for Abbas's position are declared terrorists. The whole situation here stands to be affected if a new leader comes forward. Prayer is needed to cover the whole situation. We prayed:

    • We cry out to the Lord for Him to make His will known in this.

    • Give Israel the wisdom to know what to do BEFORE it happens.

    • Reveal the true motives of these men who seek to take over leadership.

    • Raise voices in the nations revealing the absurdity of possibly having other men as the PA leader.

    • May the Lord reveal it if Abbas is simply trying to manipulate the situation.

  5. Israel's government needs the wisdom of the Lord to face all the things that are ahead in the coming months. MK Shaul Mofaz is supposed to bring forward a plan for a temporary Palestinian State. We need to lift up the Foreign Minister, Defense Minister, the Prime Minister, and Ambassador Oren so that they will know what to do about this report. We prayed:

    • That Ambassador Oren would be given strength, health, protection, and wisdom to do the task he is assigned to in America. We thank you for his clarity on Israel's position.

    • Give PM Netanyahu the wisdom to know how to respond with strength to this proposal.

    • That the Foreign Minister, the Defense Minister, and the Prime Minister would be knit together as a strong unit to deal with the fallout of this plan.

    • Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. How long will you imagine mischief against a man? You shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall you be, and as a tottering fence. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. My soul, wait only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs to God. Also unto you, O Lord, belongs mercy: for you render to every man according to his work.

      Psalm 62:1-12

    • Let our leaders turn to You in their time of trouble and do a supernatural work in their hearts.

    • May our leaders humble themselves and seek Your face.

    • Let our leaders submit to You alone and to no other power.

  6. We were moved to ask the Lord to bring Salvation to the Palestinian people. This is the only solution for peace they have. We prayed:

    • Move by Your Holy Spirit to bring them deliverance from oppression and their false religion.

    • Move with power and mercy through the opening of their eyes to the truth of the Word.

    • Visit the leaders and turn them to you.

    • Thank you Lord for our brothers and sisters within the Palestinians who love Israel.

    • Strengthen and bless our brothers and sisters who are working among the Palestinians.

  7. This past week, we received a wonderful amount of rain over the course of a few days. The level of the Sea of Galilee went up significantly, but there is still a long way to go. Psalm 63:1-2 - O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see your power and your glory, so as I have seen you in the sanctuary.

    • Thank you Lord for the strong rains over the past week.

    • Our Land is dry and thirsty, so Lord let there be a river from heaven to Earth.

    • Turn this nation to you so that all will know that you are the provider.

    • Let a spirit of humility come so that the nation would be brought to Your feet, asking for provision.

  8. Aliyah is continually on the Lord's mind, so it is continually in our prayers. There is a desperate need for provision here in the Land. Many arrive here and find that they cannot provide properly for themselves. We prayed:

    • Let Your provision to come for all those who have stepped out to make Aliyah. We ask this especially for the believers who have come.

    • Take away fear and doubt from those considering the move to Israel. Replace these things with hope and a vision for what you are doing here.

    • Let people see that this is a good Land and bring an increase in their faith.

    • Silence those who bring a bad repot to the people abroad.

    • There are "giants" in this Land Lord, but let the spirit that was on Joshua and Caleb be upon this who nation.

    • Bless the people who come with creativity and ingenuity
