We praise you Father for you are indeed the keeper of Israel, you neither slumber nor sleep, you are the shade on our right hand.

O, Lord my God when I in awesome wonder consider all the works Thy hand hath made... Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His loving-kindness endures forever.

  1. Aliyah (immigration to Israel)

    People in the Diaspora generally struggle with the biblical idea that Israel is the only land of milk and honey. They still hope that the land in which they live will continue to provide for them.

    There are also issues in the land itself that prevent people from coming, such as the Israeli bureaucracy.

    It is a fact that our enemies fear Aliyah. When there was the big Aliyah from Russia in 1991-1992, it freaked out our enemies and talks about the division of the land intensified. So Aliyah really is our biggest victory.

    Pray that the Lord will,

    • give faith to people that they can overcome their perceived giants in the land.

    • help people to realize that this Land is the only land of Milk and Honey.

    • bring people en masse

    • stir up people around the world to return

    • plant us in the land, never to be uprooted again

    • give the people an attitude of here to stay, rather than a temporary stay to see how it goes

    • give them a reality check to realize where they belong

    • do something in their hearts to encourage them to make Aliyah

    • help them to return to the land, which eventually will mean that they will return to Him

    • enlighten their eyes regarding the threat of anti-Semitism.

    • reform the bureaucracy in Israel to encourage immigration and not discourage it

    • continue to shake the financial world so that the Jewish people do not put their trust in their worldly goods, but in the Lord

    • give them a recognition that time is limited and they need to come back home

    • provide security by increasing our numbers here

    • encourage the proliferation of organizations that encourage Aliyah, such as Nefesh B'Nefesh and Ebenezer

    • give understanding to Messianic believers regarding Israel and a desire to come

  2. Iran and the whole security situation

    UN Security Council has decided to implement sanctions against Iran. However, these sanctions are extremely weak and will not achieve much. For example, there are sanctions regarding the prohibition to sell arms to Iran. However, there is nothing concerning the selling of oil by Iran to other nations, since many of them have contracts to buy their oil. Ahmadinejad does not see that the UN sanctions will in any way affect Iran and considered them "trash". This amounts to an incredible failure by the UN to deal with the situation.

    Pray for,

    • the government of Israel not to put their trust in other nations, but in the Almighty God who is the Maker of Heaven and Earth

    • the government will have God's wisdom when to hit Iran (unless the Lord intervenes supernaturally)

    • us as intercessors in Israel to discern the right time to hit Iran, if we need to.

    • the Lord to bring the government together in unity, that they will have clarity of mind

    • the Lord to grant integrity to our media so that they broadcast the truth

  3. The repercussions around the world regarding the flotilla

    There is a difference between what is said regarding the flotilla and the reality. There is a spoof going around here in Israel called "We Con the World", you can see it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOGG_osOoVg

    The result of the issue with the flotilla has caused the nations to push Hamas and the PA (Palestinian Authority) to unite. The only unifying factor that they have is their mutual hatred for Israel. So for us, for the Israelis these two should not unite, it gives us an advantage, and they do not concentrate on us.

    There seems to be a battle for the truth. On the one hand, the world media is bent on distorting the truth and leading the world into a deluded path against Israel. There is an incredible media manipulation of the facts.

    And on the other hand, the Israeli government is trying to demonstrate to the world that its actions were and are legally justified and Israel acted in accordance with international rules. Most of these efforts are ignored.

    Pray that,

    • the Lord will overwhelm the world with the truth "you will know the truth and the truth will set you free"

    • this nation does not get deluded

    • the nations that seek to unite around lies will not be able to do so - that the Lord will sow confusion amongst them

    • the PA and Hamas will remain at enmity and divided, so that they will not be able to unite

    • You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them - those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing. For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you, says the LORD and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; you shall rejoice in the LORD, and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

      Isaiah 41:9-16

    • the truth may be told in a loving and non-judgmental way.

    • we may speak the truth to our families with clarity

    • Israeli people will stand on the truth.

  4. The water situation

    God is no respecter of seasons. He can make it rain here even in June!!

    "The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, the myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine And the box tree together, That they may see and know, And consider and understand together, That the hand of the LORD has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

    Isaiah 41:17-20

    "Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone."

    Zechariah 10:1

    Pray for,

    • the Lord to bless us with water

    • release of the springs and floodgates from heaven

    • heavy dew

    • finding of new water sources

    • encouraging desalination and water purification processes

  5. Prayer Conference in Scotland

    Eliyahu Ben-Haim, Chuck Cohen and Devin Mitchell are attending this conference in Scotland on behalf of Israel.

    We pray for the Lord,

    • to give them clarity, wisdom, knowledge and understanding

    • to give them unity with the delegates

    • to watch over their families whilst they are abroad and provide all the help and support they need.

  6. The Body of Messiah in the Land

    Pray for,

    • our role in safeguarding and communicating the truth

    • gatherings that are happening this weekend

    • resolve divisions amongst us and bring unity for His glory

    • help pastors to give wisdom and understanding

    • protection of our congregations from the enemy

    • marriages, children, etc
