1. From this week's prophetic portion.

    • He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what LORD [YHWH] requires of you, is to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.

    • We bless You for Your faithful love which endures forever (Lamentations 3:22-23).

    • Thank You for bringing us into the kingdom for just this time (Esther 4:14b).

  2. Israel's government is coming under increasing pressure from the world to do many things that are not in line with God's will: to divide the land; to not build in Jerusalem; to lift the Gaza blockade which would result in enabling Hamas to receive even more powerful weapons; to allow the West to deal with the Iranian threat, etc. We must undergird this government - for which we prayed so hard - with further intense intercession.

    • Abba, thank You for giving Israel this government through whom You can glorify Yourself. And that is our desire - that in all things You would receive the glory.

    • Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory, for Your mercy, and for Your truth's sake. Why should the nations say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens - He has done whatsoever He has pleased.

      Psalms 115:1-3

    • Lord, place the spirit of the children of Issachar in the men who are leading this nation today, ...men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do... (1 Chronicles 12:32b)

    • Raise up the leaders You have promised to a restored Israel (Isaiah 1:26; Jeremiah 3:15; 23:3-4; Zechariah 12:6, etc.)

    • Give to our leaders wisdom, understanding and courage.

    • Remove from them the fear of man (Proverbs 29:25) and replace it with the fear of God (Proverbs 14:26-27).

    • Hedge in Defense Minister Ehud Barak. Even replace him with someone better - someone more in line with Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu and the rest of the nation.

    • Use the Israeli commission of inquiry on the "Peace Flotilla" fiasco to expose the men who were responsible. And if Barak is one of them - may he have his scepter of authority stripped from him - forever.

  3. One of the positive fruits that came out of that flotilla mess was the cancellation by Netanyahu of his June meeting with US President Barak Hussein Obama. Another meeting is scheduled for July 6th. Many of us see this as a trap for Israel's Prime Minister.

    • We declared over this July meeting this verse from this Shabbat's Torah portion:

      Surely there is no divination against Jacob, neither is there any witchcraft against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God wrought!

      Numbers 23:23

    • If this meeting is not also cancelled, we hold Bibi into the anointing You have provided for him - specifically for this time with Obama.

    • Use him to speak a prophetic word to Obama and to America.

    • LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the people of none effect. The counsel of LORD stands forever. The thoughts of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is LORD; and the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

      Psalms 33:10-12

    • Prepare Netanyahu by surrounding him with anointed advisors (Proverbs 11:14; 15:22).

    • Open his ears to hear their advice and not think that he can handle this on his own.

    • Reveal Obama's true intentions concerning what he is willing to do to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

    • Wake up American intercessors today about how crucial this meeting is to the destiny of their nation - and give them wisdom and perseverance to see their nation stand with and bless Your nation Israel.

    • Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers. The snare is broken; we are escaped. Our help is in the name of LORD, who made heaven and earth.

  4. Yesterday, the US Senate passed tough new sanctions targeting Iran's Revolutionary Guard and imports of gas and other refined energy products as Iran's government continued to defy demands it abandon its nuclear ambitions. The US House of Representatives is expected to pass a similar bill and then all will be presented to Obama for his signature. He will find himself in a bind - as he really does not want this to pass yet it would most likely be political suicide if he vetoes these sanctions. Miraculously, the EU is also considering more stringent sanctions on Iran.

    • Abba, please let the US House of representatives pass their version overwhelmingly - just as the Senate did.

    • May the fruit of all this increased pressure on Iran cause them to make mistakes - both politically and in the furthering of their nuclear program.

    • Expose Obama's true heart in this situation.

    • May the US sanctions - which are aimed at any businesses doing business with Iran in questionable areas - bit hard against EU corporations that are still supplying Iran with too much technical know-how and hardware.

    • Between this and the Bibi-Obama meeting, may Israel have a much clearer idea of what she will need to do to stop this existential threat of an A-bomb in the hands of Iran's mullahs.

  5. For those who have been receiving the Friday Prayer Alerts, you know that we trust God to deal with Iran and protect Israel. And whether He decides to do that through sanctions, or sovereignly through "acts of God" - or using Israel as His weapon of war - still it is He and He alone who deserves the glory. Yet we have the biblical responsibility to pray, and He is looking for His intercessors to do just that.

    • And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out My indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, says the Lord GOD.

      Ezekiel 22:30-31

    • Lord of Hosts, if it is Your will for Israel to deal with this threat militarily - help her to know when and how to do it.

    • Provide all of the accurate intelligence for Israel to be able to plan her tactics.

    • You [Israel] are My battle axe and weapons of war: for with you will I break in pieces the nations, and...destroy kingdoms; with you will I break in pieces...the chariot and his rider; With you also will I break in pieces man and woman...and with you will I break in pieces captains and rulers. And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, says LORD.

      Jeremiah 51:20-24

    • Lord Yeshua, give revelation and an anointing to our brothers and sisters in Iran - to both understand the curse that their leadership has placed their nation under (Genesis 12:13b), as well as how to intercede for Your mercy.

    • Save multitudes of Iranians.

    • Stop the arrogance boasts of Iran's President Ahmadinejad - especially what he says about Israel - the Zionist state.

    • Prepare Israel and Your intercessors for the day after the attack.

  6. We next prayed about any future planned flotillas. Today's headlines seem to indicate that Iran has cancelled their attempt to break the Gaza blockade using their own flotilla. And even Lebanon is not sure about sending a ship - crewed only by women. Any future flotillas pose a huge public relations mess and a security risk for Israel.

    • Abba, thank You for making Iran cease their attempt to send a flotilla to Gaza.

    • Prepare both the IDF and the Foreign Ministry to deal with any future attempts along this line of attack.

    • Thank You for using Tony Blair to take Israel's side in this affair. Miracles still happen!

    • Help Israel to effectively get the truth of the situation in Gaza out to the world - that there is absolutely no humanitarian crisis and that the problem is Hamas - not Israel.

    • Lord, You who came to set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1b) - we ask for You to free Gilad Shalit who is still in captivity in Gaza. Free him physically by bringing him home to Israel - and free him spiritually by revealing his Messiah Yeshua to him.

    • We bless You that there has been no more successful kidnapping attempts of either IDF soldiers or Israel civilians - although frequently there are reported attempts.

  7. Jerusalem's Mayor Nir Barkat wants to effect some changes in Silwan, the ancient city of David, that will be better for all who live there as well as make it a more attractive place for tourists. But it is Jerusalem. Therefore, all the world is in an uproar about this.

    • Please strengthen Barkat and cause Netanyahu to throw his full support behind him.

    • Jerusalem is Your special city (Psalm 48:1-2,8; Matthew 5:35). Therefore, we ask that You would arise and defend this city for Your Holy Name's sake (Isaiah 37:35).

    • Extend Your wisdom to all of Israel's security forces who defend this city.

    • Thank You for restoring Jerusalem to Israel. May she never again be divided.

  8. We ended by praying for the salvation of Israel - recognizing that the Lord is the one who first draws us and then we respond.

    • Lord, we ask that You would turn this nation to Yourself through a deep revelation of Yeshua - Israel's Messiah.

    • Turn us again, O God. Cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved...Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved...Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts. Cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

      Psalms 80:3,7,19

    • Draw me, we will run after You. The king has brought me into His chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in You. We will remember Your love more than wine.

      Song of Songs 1:4

    • I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look unto Me whom they have pierced, and shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

    • So all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

      Romans 11:26

    • Lord, Israel's salvation is so obviously Your will. Therefore, we simply ask You, Save O God, Your people, the remnant of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:7a)
