1. After reading this section from Shabbat's prophetic portion we then praised God.

    • O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted. Behold...I will make...all your borders of pleasant stones. All your children shall be taught of LORD [YHWH], and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear - and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by Me. Whoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake. Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, that brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, says LORD.

    • What a blessing to come to a God who makes precious promises like these.

    • We thank You for being so gracious to us, sustaining us week by week to stand before You for Your glory to be manifested in and through this land (Malachi 1:5).

    • We ask for Your guidance today to be able to pray in line with Your will (1 John 5:14-15).

    • This is the day LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

  2. The relationship between the leadership of Israel's government and the leadership of Israel's army - the IDF - has always been of crucial importance. The IDF Chief of Staff, Gabi Ashkenazi, is being replaced next February. Currently, there is conflict between him and the Defense Minister Ehud Barak concerning Barak's handling of the situation surrounding the choosing of the next Chief of Staff. Barak is a real problem in Israel's government for those of us who want to see Israel fulfill all that God has for them at this time.

    • Lord, provide all the stability the IDF needs to operate at peak form at this time.

    • Give the officers and soldiers confidence in Ashkenazi's leadership.

    • May the next CoS be the man of Your choice - one who has the same spirit as the sons of Issachar, who were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do... (1 Chronicles 12:32)

    • If Barak is as much of a stumbling block to Prime Minister Netanyahu and this current government as we perceive him to be, remove his scepter of authority and give his position to a better man.

  3. PM Bibi Netanyahu comes continually under intense pressure to do what the world wants as opposed to what God wants. So we need to continually keep him in prayer.

    • Lord, do not allow this government to extend the settlement freeze on day beyond the expiration date of September 26th.

    • You brought Your people back to sow and plant - not to stop and be uprooted.

    • I will bring again the captivity of My people of Israel. They shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine; they shall make gardens, and eat the fruit. I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, says LORD your God.

      Amos 9:14-15

    • Give Bibi wisdom from on high - along with boldness and an anointing to carry forth all that You have in Your heart for Israel in this season. Strengthen and encourage him.

    • Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people you shall divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore unto their fathers to give them.

      Joshua 1:6

    • Make Netanyahu impervious to the constant media onslaught - especially in Israel.

    • Anoint him to be a voice to the nations. We thank You for how often we have seen him do just that (Isaiah 2:3b).

    • Protect Bibi and his family - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

    • Save Benjamin Netanyahu and fill him with Your Spirit.

  4. This past week, there was a firefight between the IDF and the Lebanese Armed Forces on Israel's northern border. The LAF instigated this as a sniper killed a senior IDF reserve officer and severely wounded another soldier. The IDF responded, killing three LAF soldiers, one journalist and injured others. As of now, the border is quiet - but tense.

    • You God are Israel's only real protection. Arise and defend this nation for Your sake.

      For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake...

      Isaiah 37:35a

    • Lord, please provide the IDF with all of the intelligence it needs to defend Israel's borders - especially the north with Syria and Hizbullah in Lebanon.

    • Give to the IDF supernatural alertness and anointing for these days.

      LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones...

      Zechariah 9:15a

    • Comfort the family of the soldiers who were killed and injured. Shine Your light into the darkness of their current situation.

    • Thank You for the absolute miracle we saw this week - as the UN actually supported Israel's version of the events!

      Lord GOD! You have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm. There is nothing too hard for You.

      Jeremiah 32:17

    • Abba, overrule anything that the enemy attempted to accomplish with this firefight and use the situation to further Your will being done here in Israel (Psalm 103:19).

    • Lord of hosts, arise. Cast confusion and fear into the hearts of all of Israel's enemies.

      Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

      Psalms 129:5

    • Set the nation of Lebanon free from it's Islamic overlords.

    • May the truth of who killed the former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri come out in the UN investigation - whether it is Syria or Hizbullah. And use that for Your prophetic purposes.

  5. There was a horrific accident in Israel last night as a mini-bus was caught on the train tracks. Seven people of one family were killed. In this nation since its founding, more people have been killed on the roads than in all the wars and terror attacks combined.

    • Lord, please use this terrible accident to wake up this nation to drive safer.

    • May Israelis drivers be more considerate of one another.

    • Since the family who lost all those people are Orthodox, use this to cause the Orthodox Jews to cry out to you. Then reveal Yourself to many.

      I will pour upon the house of David, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as...for his firstborn.

      Zechariah 12:10

    • We remind You of Your word in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Although this accident was not good, You can use it for the good to this nation which is definitely the called according to Your purpose.

  6. We continue to take our stand concerning the Iranian threat. Until this is resolved - one way or the other - in this area God has given us an assignment, to watch and pray.

    • We thank You for the increasing pressure that the US, EU and UN sanctions are putting on Iran - but they are still boastfully moving forward to nuclear armament.

    • Aid the IDF to be prepared for whatever it is that You want from them in the face of Iran's threats to wipe Israel off the map.

    • Keep not silence, O God. Hold not you peace. Be not still, O God. For, behold, Your enemies make a loud noise. They that hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people... They have said, Come, let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

      Psalms 83:1-4

    • Father, now we hear, just when the pressure is on, that US President Obama is wanting to talk again! Lord, hedge him in.

    • Cause Ahmadinejad and the ruling mullahs to be so arrogant and negative about Obama and his offers to talk that even the President has his eyes open to what he is dealing with.

    • LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the people of none effect. The counsel of LORD stands forever. The thoughts of His heart to all generations.

      Psalms 33:10-11

    • Yeshua, wake up Your Body in the USA to arise with indignation over Obama's continual compromising with America's enemies and the poor treatment - at best - of her friends.

    • Yeshua, wake up Your Body in Iran to stand in the gap for their country, and give them a the revelation of what touching Israel - the apple of Your eye - means (Zechariah 2:8b).

  7. With the downward spiral that the West seems to be in - both morally and spiritually - we need to pray for Western Jews there be open to making aliyah - immigrating to Israel.

    • Thank You Lord for another planeload of Jews from North America making aliyah this past week.

    • Bless the Nefesh b'Nefesh organization and enable them to bring twice as many Jews home as they do now.

    • Increase the desire to move to Israel in the hearts of Jews throughout the West - especially in the hearts of the youth.

    • Help the Jews in Europe to see the Islamic invasion taking place there now - and to flee before it is too late.

    • Watch over Your word to perform it:

      Fear not: for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; to the south, Keep not back. Bring My sons from far, My daughters from the ends of the earth - even every one called by My name, for I have created him for My glory...

      Isaiah 43:5-7a

    • Reveal to the true Church in North America and Europe that they are called to help with this end time move of Your Spirit to bring Your people back home (Isaiah 49:22; 60:3-12).

    • Wake up all of the Spanish speaking Jews to make aliyah as soon as possible.

    • Bless You God for fulfilling Your word before our eyes in these days.

      Thus says LORD; I am returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of LORD of hosts the holy mountain. Thus says LORD of hosts, There shall yet be old men and old women dwelling in the streets of Jerusalem, and... the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof... Thus says LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west country; I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

We finished by praying for the salvation of this nation - as that is the ultimate goal of praying for all of the above, for example, aliyah - when Israel gets saved as a nation, it happens in this land; security - the Jews need to be alive to be saved.
