Praise the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endures for ever. He has made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. He has given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Psalm 111:1-4

  1. A Turkish group filed a suit yesterday in the International Criminal Court against Israel for the boarding of the flotilla by Israeli Soldiers. This has served to reignite tensions that had been cooling over the passed few months. The ICC at The Hague is not sure about their jurisdiction because Israel has not signed on as a participating nation, but the country the ship originated from has. We need to pray that the suit would go nowhere, the truth would be established, and that Israel would know how to respond to this latest assault.

    • The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

      Proverbs 12:19

    • May the truth of what actually happened be established.

    • Let all the deception swirling around the situation be exposed as deception.

    • Intervene, Lord, in this, and sovereignly rule against this attack.

    • May this case be a whisper that passes in a moment.

    • Let this attack against the integrity of Your people melt away.

    • Give discernment to us as a people to know the origin of this attack and not fire blame at random.

    • This suit will be used to stir up hatred and not to establish justice- we pray you would establish true justice in this situation and turn back this hatred.

    • Give Your Body in Europe the boldness to speak out concerning this issue - may they stand strong in declaring Your truth even though it may be unpopular.

    • Let Israel declare the facts of what happened and be able to respond to these accusations with strength.

  2. For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

    Psalm 109:2-3

    The Iranian president was in Lebanon over the past few days inciting Lebanon and Hizbollah against Israel. It is clear his goal is to establish Lebanon as a satellite nation of Iran. We must continue to pray for the security of this Land as well as preparation for what is to come.

    • Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

      Psalm 2:1-4

    • Confuse the plans that are being laid by Iran and Hizbollah.

    • Thank You that You are with Israel despite the boasting of other nations.

    • Thank You for all Your promises to Israel.

    • Behold, all they that were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with you shall perish. You will seek them, and will not find them, even them that contended with you: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nothing. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto you, Fear not; I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will help you, says the LORD, and your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

      Isaiah 41:11-14

    • As You confuse our enemies Lord, don't allow Israel to be dismayed.

    • Help the IDF as they prepare for whatever will come - help them see the tricks and snares set by the enemy.

    • Raise up leadership within the IDF who will have the heart of David.

    • Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad defy You Lord! See the actions and all the words that are being spoken against You - bring down this arrogant Goliath!

    • May we as a nation act decisively and in unity against this threat.

    • Don't allow us to trust in our hi-tech weaponry to save us, but help us trust in our Eternal Father!

  3. The government of Israel has to deal with a geo-political reality that no other nation in the world has to deal with. Along with these direct threats against our nation, there are huge pressures coming from our friends telling us what we have to do in the "peace process". We can praise the Lord that PM Netanyahu has not given in on his demand that the Palestinian Authority recognize Israel as a Jewish Nation. We can also thank the Lord that he has just approved new building in "East" Jerusalem. The government, and especially Netanyahu, need to be supported through prayer.

    • Lord, keep our government steadfast and determined to stand on what Your Word says.

    • Help our government remember that words are empty and don't allow them to give up anything in exchange for these empty words.

    • Help the government as a whole to stand in support of what the Prime Minister is doing.

    • Strengthen the coalition so that Netanyahu would not be undermined - give our government one voice.

    • Thank You for the government we have, and we pray You would use it as a tool in Your hand.

    • Silence the voices within our government who are just seeking selfish political advancement.

    • Help Netanyahu know how to hold fast to what Your will is for this nation.

    • Protect our Prime Minister from coercion and pressure - may he grow in the resolve to stand firmly on Your Word.

    • Protect and strengthen the "group of seven" (Netanyahu's closest advisors) to stand in unity.

    • Give the government the words that need to be spoken to our own nation so that unity can come forth.

  4. Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her: That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then you shall suck, you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. And when you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

    Isaiah 66:10-14

    With all the pressure and hatred directed her way, Israel needs to feel comfort from the Lord.

    • We ask for Your Spirit to come and comfort Your people.

    • In their search to find love, may Your people find You waiting to embrace them.

    • May the Body of Messiah around the world be used as an instrument of comfort - may they take up the call to pray for this to happen.

    • Let the Body speak tenderly to Your people.

    • Turn Israel away from seeking the comfort of other nations the way we have done in the past.

    • Turn us again to our roots in Your Word, and comfort us through reading Your Word.

    • Pour out hope on this nation that You will fulfill Your promises to her.

    • May there be rejoicing in Jerusalem over Your promises.

    • Transform us as a nation!

  5. Ultimately, true comfort will only come when Israel accepts Yeshua as her Messiah.

    Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.

    Isaiah 40:1-2

    We continually pray that Israel will be turned again to her God through salvation in Yeshua.

    • We give thanks for the remnant of Jews that have come to know You.

    • We ask that You would break through the spiritual darkness that lies on the IDF - may soldiers find the Light of the Word while they guard our borders.

    • May this be the hour of Israel's Salvation.

    • Let Your Spirit rest on all our leaders in government so that they may lead by Your Spirit.

    • Take away the veil that lays on the heart of Your people!

    • Bring a revival in the schools - turn away the children from violence and aggression to the love of the Lord.

    • Make the Body in this Land a beacon of light that draws people from far away.

    • Cast aside those things in the Body that would hinder our Light from going forth.

    • Remove from us the fear of persecution and replace it with a boldness to share Yeshua.

    • Save all those survivors of the Holocaust who remain - give them dreams of Yeshua and put believers around them who can explain their dreams.

    • Have mercy on Your people!

  6. For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, says the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first fruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. I will accept you with your sweet savor, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein you have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

    Ezekiel 20:40-42

    May this beautiful promise be realized in our days. We pray that the Lord would continue to bring home His people who have been scattered.

    • Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness to Your people.

    • Thank You for showing that Your Word is true through the Aliyah of the Jewish People.

    • May Your people no longer linger in the nations that they have been scattered to.

    • Break through in this so that Aliyah doesn't simply increase by hundreds, but by hundreds of thousands.

    • We ask for another historical wave of Aliyah to come.

    • May this Land be teeming with life!

    • Gather Your people so that those already in the Land can be strengthened.

    • Nurture those who have come back and allow them to truly be planted here.
