1. From this week's Torah portion:

    • We bless You our God, that You are God of both heaven and earth.

    • We proclaim that Your name LORD is a strong tower into which we can run and find safety (Proverbs 18:10).

    • Thank You for the rain drops that are falling on Jerusalem this morning.

    • We praise You for preparing Your Bride for the return of Your Son.

  2. Israel's water situation is critical.

    • Have mercy on this land. Refill the Sea of Galilee and all of her underground aquifers.

    • You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, whereby You did confirm Your inheritance, when it was weary.

      Psalms 68:9

    • We look to You to provide all of Israel's water needs - regardless of how You do it.

    • As the number of Jews returning home has risen recently, we ask for You to look with mercy on this prophetic fulfillment and open up new water resources.

    • When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none… I LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water… That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

      Isaiah 41:17-20

    • We are asking You to do this for Your holy name's sake (Ezekiel 36:35-37).

  3. Being the prime minister of Israel is not easy in the best of times. And today, with most of the world pressuring Israel to divide her land and stop building homes for Jews in Jerusalem, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu leads Israel in a very crucial time. He needs our prayer support to hold up his arms.

    • Abba, we hold Netanyahu into the anointing that You have provided for Israel's leader at this specific time in history.

    • Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom you have made strong for Yourself.

      Psalms 80:17

    • Press him into his God-ordained calling.

      …and who knows whether you are come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

      Esther 4:14b

    • Save Bibi (Jeremiah 31:7b).

    • Sustain and strengthen him.

    • Surround him with wise, trusted counselors.

      Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.

      Proverbs 15:22

  4. It seems obvious to us who have followed the careers of Israel's Prime Ministers that there is strong demonic opposition to them, their staff and even sitting in the PM's office itself. Often, a person is elected on one platform and then once in office, they switch to a totally different platform altogether. Rabin and Sharon are just two examples. So far Bibi has not turned 180 degrees, but he has swayed back and forth.

    • Lord, please raise up angelic protection for Israel's PM, his staff and family.

    • This demonic activity profanes Your holy name, therefore God, arise and scatter Your enemies (Psalm 68:1).

    • We proclaim You Yeshua, as King of Israel and Lord over the PM's office.

      LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion: rule in the midst of Your enemies.

      Psalms 110:2

    • Remove all persons in the PMO who are interfering with Your will being done there.

    • Remove all confusion.

    • Shine Your light in there and expose and expel all wickedness.

      …deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

      Matthew 6:13b

  5. The world is pressing Israel to reinstate it's voluntary settlement freeze, when all it accomplished was to give the Palestinians one more excuse to not compromise at all for the sake of peace. This moratorium is unjust and racist. We prayed for the government to resist repeating this mistake.

    • Abba, please give strength and courage to Bibi and his cabinet to do what is right in line with Your will - and not the will of the world.

    • Forbid that this anti-Biblical moratorium be reinstated.

    • Your will is for the Jews to return to their land and - with Your help - to build.

    • The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.

      Nehemiah 2:20

    • LORD builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

      Psalms 147:2

    • We bless You Abba that You have sent Your Son Yeshua to not only redeem us but also to confirm all of these promises to Israel's forefathers (Romans 15:8).

  6. US midterm elections are being held next Tuesday, Nov. 2. Many believe that the US administration under Obama, regardless of results, will intensify pressure on Israel to divide this land and allow the creation of a Palestinian State - even if there really is no peace partner on the Palestinian side.

    • Prepare Israeli leaders to deal with the intensifying pressure that could very likely come from the Obama administration.

    • Raise up politicians in America through whom You can glorify Yourself.

    • Bring in a Congress that is willing to openly stand with Israel - and challenge the theory that a Palestinian State on Israel's God-given land will bring peace.

    • Have mercy on the US - even in the midst of Your judgments (Habakkuk 3:2).

  7. Iran and it's continual threats very Israel and the rest of the world.

    • Hedge them in. Do not allow any of their wicked plans come to fruition.

    • Protect this nation from this very real threat.

      Behold, He that guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

      Psalms 121:4

    • Since You have said that those who curse Israel - You will curse (Genesis 12:3) - we ask that You curse all of Iran's attempts to develop nuclear weapons.

    • Open up the earth under Iran's nuclear plant sites and swallow them like You did to Korah in the wilderness (Psalm 106:17).

    • Bring great division and confusion to all the plans of the Iranian government.

      Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

      Psalms 129:5

    • Give Israel Your wisdom on what to do with Iran.

    • If she is to attack militarily, give her Your strategy and tactics - and success.

  8. The gap between the rich and poor in Israel is huge. The government is trying to deal with it. This is a worthy area to pray about.

    • May Bibi and the rest of Israel's leaders plea the cause of the poor (Proverbs 31:8).

    • Urge the ultra-rich in Israel to be part of the solution.

    • Deal with the ultra-Orthodox to stop being part of the problem by refusing to work. Remind them that the great rabbis of old both worked and studied.

    • Give to all areas of Israeli society creative ways of solving this problem.

  9. A Catholic synod just finished meeting that discussed the problems that Christians in the Middle East face. Unfortunately, the conclusion was that Israel is largely to blame. Not radical Moslems who slaughter both Jews and Christians, but Israel because they have come back to the land promised them in the Bible. The synod said that these promises to the Jews ended with the appearing of Jesus. Yet, the New Testament rejects this lie, for example: Luke 1:54-55, 68-73; Acts 3:18-21; Romans 11:1-2,11-15; 15:8.

    • We pray for all those who are so blinded by replacement theology that they reject the Word of God to follow the traditions - and lies - of man.

    • God, pour out a hunger and thirst for Your Word.

    • Remove from positions of leadership all those who deceive Your flock.

    • Sanctify them through Your truth. Your word is truth.

      John 17:17
