  2. The police in Jerusalem are on high alert today, so we started our time of intercession by praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

    • Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love her.

      Psalms 122:6

    • Let God arise. let His enemies be scattered. Let them also that hate Him flee before Him.

      Psalms 68:1

    • Abba, give to the security forces in Jerusalem - and in the rest of the nation of Israel - accurate and up-to-date intelligence information.

    • Then give them wisdom to respond to that information, in order to stop all terror attacks before they even occur.

    • We thank You for how often we hear reports of You doing exactly that!

    • Extend Your hand of protection over the police and any innocent bystanders caught in any riots.

    • Thwart all plans of the enemy.

      Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

  3. The 2nd flotilla attempting to break Israel's legal sea blockade of the Gaza Strip, is set to sail any day. Most Western nations, and even the UN, are against this. Israel's aim in maintaining the blockade is to stop weapons from reaching Gaza's Hamas leadership who are commited to Israel destruction. Israel recently stopped a weapons ship from Iran. When Israel stopped the 1st flotilla, she was accused of war crimes after having to kill nine Turkish terrorists who attacked her soldiers. So we prayed…

    • Thank You Lord, for nations that have warned their citizens away from being involved with this.

    • Thank You Lord, for ships that have experienced "mechanical problems" before they could even set sail.

    • We bless You that both the numbers of ships and "activists" have been diminished.

    • Give Israel's naval commandos wisdom and courage to do that which is needed to protect this nation and her people.

    • Anoint them for battle against the enemies of Israel - who are in reality Your enemies (Psalm 83:2-4).

    • Use them for Your glory (Isaiah 41:10-16).

    • Protect them from the extremes of being either too quick to shoot, or being too slow to defend themselves.

    • Whatever trap terrorists have laid for Israel, turn it back on their own heads.

      They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have dug a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.

  4. The UN Special Tribunal on Lebanon, investigating the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri has finally issued their verdict, indicting four top Hizbullah leaders. As Hizbullah is part of the Lebanese government, and since they are backed by both Syria and Iran, they could decide to divert pressure by attacking Israel.

    • We praise You for answering our prayers that despite all the threats, the tribunal issued their findings and truth is being revealed.

    • Thank You for the authors courage. Please protect them.

    • Bring all the details to light, especially if there was any involvement by Syria and/or Iran.

    • Enable Israel's leaders to know how to prepare the IDF for whatever lays ahead.

    • We lift up Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, the IDF's Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and all of the IDF's regional commanders, especially in the north, for insight, wisdom and courage at this time.

    • Give Israel excellent and up-to-date intelligence concerning the plans of her enemies.

    • If war does come, may Israel's response be so overwhelming that the enemy panics and sues for peace.

    • Abba, have mercy on Your people and land. Protect Israel from a massive Hizbullah rocket barrage.

    • Openly shame Hizbullah and it's leader Nasrallah, and use this to save some of them.

      Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Your name, O LORD.

      Psalms 83:16

    • If war does come, accomplish all of Your objectives in it.

    • As we stand in the gap, remove the threat of Hizbullah and Syria, these northern armies.

      Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Your people, O LORD, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the people, Where is their God?  Then will the LORD be jealous for His land, and pity His people. Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold…I will make you no more a reproach among the nations, but I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate…because he has done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

  5. The "Arab Spring" looks like it is headed towards an "Islamic Winter," where radical Islamists take over or have much influence on many of the nations of the Middle East.

    • Lord Yeshua, in the midst of the turmoil, reveal Yourself to multitudes of Moslems.

    • Set ex-Moslem believers free from all demons of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism.

    • Prepare the IDF for the new challenges these changes will bring - especially with the strong possibility that Egypt will revert to being an enemy nation again.

    • LORD, how are they increased that trouble us! Many are they that rise up against us. Many there be which say of our soul, There is no help for them in God. But You, LORD, are a shield for us; our glory, and the lifter up of our head. We cried unto the LORD… He heard us out of His holy hill. We laid down and slept. We awaked; for the LORD sustained us. We will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against us round about. Arise, O LORD; save us, O my God: for You have struck all our enemies upon the mouth.     • Strengthen those areas in his life and policies that are in line with Your will and correct all areas that are not (Proverbs 27:1).

    • Fill him with wisdom to speak Your truth to Israel and the nations.

      The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

    • Protect him and his family - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

    • Stop the left-wing media's constant attacks against this prime minister.

    • Protect Israel's leader from all manipulations coming from the nations especially from US President Obama, pushing him to do that which is not Your will.

    • As one of his main burdens is to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons, give him wisdom from on high to do just that.

    • By Your grace, enable Netanyahu to fulfill the call You have on his life.

    • Speak to believers - both here in Israel and in the nations - to keep Bibi in prayer.

We also prayed about the Iranian threat which grows stronger daily, that either God would sovereignly deal with them or empower the IDF to strike in His timing and way.

And as we see God literally shaking the nations through both natural disasters and economic upheavals, we finished by asking the Lord to shake the Jews out of exile - the nations - and to draw them back home to Israel.

The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel…You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
