1. Bless the Lord, O my soul!

    • From this week's Torah portion:

      God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

      Numbers 23:19

    • We bless You that all of Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Messiah Yeshua (2 Corinthians 1:20).

    • Blessed be the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.

    • We thank You that nothing takes You by surprise - that there are no emergencies in heaven.

      The LORD has prepared His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.

      Psalms 103:19

  2. There was a threat of a 2nd flotilla trying to break Israel's legal sea blockade of the Hamas ruled Gaza Strip. That seems to have fizzled out. But there is another threat of a "flytilla," the entry to Israel of pro-Gaza activists by flying into Ben Gurion airport from various places. That is supposed to happen today.

    • Lord, protect Your nation from all of these various invasions whose sole purpose is to curse [i.e., denigrate, put down, speak negatively about. Genesis 12:3b] Your people.

    • Overrule all man's plans and bring them to nothing.

    • Give Israeli security forces Your wisdom to stop all demonstrations.

    • Provide for Israel's security forces clear communications and good coordination.

    • Thank You for watching over Israel 24/7!

      Behold, He that keeps/guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

      Psalms 121:4

    • We proclaim that this land is called Israel.

      But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, Arise, and take the young child [Yeshua] and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life. And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

  3. We next prayed into the 2nd flotilla situation.

    • Abba, we bless You for apparently stopping this attack and bringing it to nothing.

    • Hallelujah! Thank You Lord for this specific answer to our intercession.

    • We give You all the glory and praise for these events.

      O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever…Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, and glory in Your praise.

      1 Chronicles 16:34-35

    • We bless You that both Turkey and Greece [!] stopped ships to sail from their ports.

    • We bless both Turkey and Greece for standing against this illegal flotilla.

    • Continue to confound the all plans of man that come against Your plans.

      Arise, LORD; let not man prevail. Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, LORD: that the nations know themselves to be but men. Selah.

  4. This Monday, July 11th, there is a meeting of the Middle East Quartet - the US, the UN, the EU and Russia [this is all the world, as within this grouping are the overwhelming majority of nations], in Washington DC. Their goal is to come up with a plan to divide God's land and create another Arab Islamic state - Palestine. This is so very dangerous, especially for the people and nations who are leading this initiative. This is absolutely not in line with God's revealed will.

    • We praise You for the victory You gave to Your people Israel in 1967, when You overruled in that six days of war and joined back together Your people and Your land.

      What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

      Matthew 19:6

    • For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat [God is judge], and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

      Joel 3:1-2

    • Lord, however You choose to do it - show Your great displeasure with the declared objective of this meeting.

    • Receive glory by the total failure of any agreement with any plan.

      The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.

      Psalms 33:10-11

      Amen!

    • Give Israel's leadership wisdom and courage in responding to whatever comes out of this.

    • From this week's Torah portion, we proclaim over Israel's leaders, Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God wrought! (Numbers 23:23)

    • As You did in the Torah portion, stop the curses of the modern day Balaks and Balaams and bring forth blessings instead.

      Nevertheless the LORD Your God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD Your God turned the curse into a blessing unto you, because the LORD your God loved you.

      Deuteronomy 23:5

    • We specifically lift up Israel's Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, President Shimon Peres, and all other leaders in Israel, that they would stand as one man and resist all global plans that are against Your will and Kingdom purposes.

    • Wake up the people of Israel to understand how dangerous any peace proposal is that involves dividing Your land.

    • Awake, awake; put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for…there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake yourself from the dust. Arise, and sit, Jerusalem. Loose yourself from the bands of your neck, captive daughter of Zion. For thus says the LORD, You sold yourselves for nothing - you shall be redeemed without money…Therefore My people shall know My name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am He that speaks: behold, it is I. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace…that says unto Zion, Your God reigns!

      Isaiah 52:1-7

  5. We next prayed for a massive aliyah - a return of huge numbers of Jews - this summer.

    • May the fear of war not hinder the Jews from returning home.

    • Use the rising anti-Semitism to drive Your people home (Jeremiah 16:16).

    • Draw them back by all the good reports of Israel's situation - her economic growth, the decrease in unemployment, the huge natural gas and oil finds, the quality of life, etc.

    • How good are your tents, O Jacob, and your tabernacles, O Israel!

      Numbers 24:5

    • For Your holy name's sake, bring home Your people in massive numbers this summer (Ezekiel 36:23-24).

    • Bless the Jewish Agency, the Birthright program, Nefesh b'Nefesh and Ebenezer and provide them with all they need to provoke Your people with a desire to return, and the ability to help them when they do make aliyah.

    • Place this issue of the return of Your people on the heart of many more Christians.

    • Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up My hand to the Gentiles, and set up My standard to the people: and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

      Isaiah 49:22

    • Help both the Beni Menashe from India and the remaining Ethiopian Jews to come home this year.

    • Thank You for how Your use the IDF to take the younger generation of Jews from all the various parts of the world and make them into One Nation (Ezekiel 37:10-19).

  6. Israel's security situation is very precarious. Iran continues to rush towards developing nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them. Hizbullah has just been accused by the UN Special Tribunal of assassinating former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri. And Syria continues to kill their own people while most of the West still sees Israel as the main problem to be solved in the Middle East.

    • God, arise and scatter Your enemies (Psalm 68:1).

    • Give the IDF wisdom and a divine leading to know what to expect and to prepare for it.

    • If Israel needs to attack Iran militarily, give her the timing, tools and protection needed to do the job completely.

    • Bless the Iranian believers. Increase their numbers. Protect and use them.

    • Shake Iran physically, politically, economically and religiously.

    • And I will set my throne in Elam [ancient Persia], and will destroy from there the king and the princes, says the LORD.

      Jeremiah 49:38

    • Concerning Iranian President Ahmadinejad's continual threats, we declare, Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing. Speak the word, and it shall not stand, for God is with us. (Isaiah 8:10)

    • Confound Hizbullah in Lebanon. Let them fall in the trap that they are setting for Israel.

      The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

      Psalms 9:15

    • Have mercy on Lebanese and Syrian believers. Protect and use them for Your glory.

We ended our time by thanking God for the Body of Messiah in Israel and for praying for it to grow and mature into the kind of Body through which Yeshua can be glorified. We also asked that the burden of intercession for this nation would come upon more believers here in Israel.
