Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him: behold, his reward is with Him, and His work before Him. He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being His counselor hath taught Him?

Isaiah 40:10-13

Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, He takes up the isles as a very little thing.

We thank You Lord that You have promised to shepherd Your people Israel and that You are exalted above all nations that would seek to do them harm!

  1. We began by focusing our prayers on what is coming within the next week. There is to be a vote in the General Assembly and in the Security Council with the purpose of establishing a Palestinian State unilaterally. The consequences of such a vote can not be seen fully in the natural, but according to God's Word, they could be severe for any country who votes to divide God's Land. We continued to ask the Lord to act sovereignly according to His Word and to strengthen our government in the face of this vote.

    • Though the battle is raging in the natural and the spiritual, we pray that You would have Your way Lord despite others attempting to exert their will.

    • Give us, Your intercessors, Your Heart concerning how to pray leading up to this vote.

    • Please cover our Prime Minister as he goes to speak at the UN before the vote. Give him the words of Truth that he is supposed to declare.

    • Thank You that the truth will stand - we pray that Netanyahu would live in the truth and not compromise.

    • We thank You for calling Netanyahu to be the PM at this time and we pray that he would have all the support he needs around him.

    • Show our government the cost of compromising Your Word.

    • Give our leaders a spirit of unity and may Your Holy Spirit rest on the Israeli Knesset.

    • The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

      Proverbs 10:28

      May the expectations of the wicked be shattered!

    • Hedge in Your enemies at the UN and we ask that You would send a spirit of confusion among them.

    • It is He that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in: That brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth as vanity.

      Isaiah 40:22-23

  2. We turned our prayer to the borders of this small nation. For years, there has been a battle being fought on our southern border against smugglers coming in from Egypt. That battle has only increased since the "Arab Spring" and now we hear reports of smuggling attempts coming from Jordan. This is a new development, because for years the Jordanians have been fearful that Israel would hold the government directly responsible for anything coming from their side of the border. These new developments are worrisome, but it has not caught the Lord by surprise.

    • It is God that girds me with strength, and makes my way secure.

      Psalms 18:32

    • With threats coming from every side, help us to know how to distribute our forces.

    • Help us to have good intelligence of what is happening on the other side of the border.

    • Give discernment to the military leaders to see the movements of the enemy and know what their plans are.

    • Throw our enemies into disarray and divide them against themselves

    • We ask that You would raise up more spiritual watchers on the wall who will join us in this prayer for Israel's security.

    • Let a great cry go up from the Body here in Israel, asking You to defend this nation.

  3. There is so much focus on what is going on in the UN and the noise Turkey is making that one thing seems to have been forgotten. Iran continues to push for a nuclear arsenal with very few people taking notice. Recently, some new reactors went online in Iran, with very little being said about it. Our prayer is that the threat of Iran would not get lost in the midst of so many other things going on.

    • The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, says the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, says the LORD. But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, says the LORD.

      Jeremiah 49:34-39

    • Elam was what is now present day Iran - We ask that You would fulfill all of Your Word concerning Iran.

    • We ask that You would keep us alert to the looming threat despite all the other things that are so crucial.

    • Give the leaders of Israel the wisdom to know what to do about Iran.

    • We want to set the words of the Iranian leaders before You the way Hezekiah set the Assyrian letter before You. We ask as he did that You would hear and act according to Your sovereign Word.

    • We declare the truth of Your word that says Israel shall prosper here and not be wiped out.

  4. We asked the Lord to continue His sovereign work of Aliyah despite what we see in the natural.

    And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, You know. Again He said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the LORD. 

    Ezekiel 37:3-6

    As He created this Nation from a people who seemed to be dead, we prayed that He continue building this nation through Aliyah.

    • We thank You Lord for bringing Your people back to their Land.

    • Bring Your people home even in this dark and difficult hour.

    • We continue to ask that You would draw Your people home with love so that they would not be driven out by the anger that will come to the nations.

    • Make the way straight for Messianic believers to navigate their way into this country.

    • Set the importance of Aliyah in the hearts of the Messianic communities around the world.

    • Use the Church around the world to be a voice of encouragement for Jews to make Aliyah.

    • Bring our people from Lands where they have prospered and gotten comfortable.

  5. The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Moreover, you son of man, take one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions. then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions. And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in your hand.

    Ezekiel 37:15-17

    And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

    Ezekiel 37:22

    We asked the Lord for unity as His people come to inhabit the mountains of Israel.

    • We ask that You would continue to make us one people.

    • Give Your people one heart.

    • Bring scores of Jewish people from around the world to come and inhabit the mountains of Israel.

    • We ask for unity in all parts of Israeli society - please stop the attempts of the enemy to bring division among Your people.

  6. In two weeks, we will start to celebrate the appointed times and the feast of the Lord. The Lord has used these times throughout the generations as a opportunity to meet with His people. The people are supposed to appear before the Lord with their offerings, and He has promised to meet with them. We ask that the Lord would use this special season to reveal their true salvation that can only be found in Yeshua.

    • Sprinkle clean water on the hearts of the people who have returned to the Land.

      For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

      Ezekiel 36:24-25

    • Use these appointed times to burst through Your Word and capture the hearts of Your people - reveal Yeshua to them through Your written Word.

    • Soften hearts all over this nation so that a great cry of mercy would go up to You.

    • Let there be a renewed hunger for Your written Word - draw Your people back to this special gift You gave them so long ago.

    • Turn the Orthodox Jews to You and break down the spiritual walls of oppression they have placed around themselves because of their religion.

    • Bring secular Jews to the knowledge that there is something spiritual missing in their lives.

  7. We ended our time by praying for our leaders Chuck and Eliyahu as they are still traveling. We prayed they would return in safety and blessing. We also prayed for the preparation that has begun for the 2012 Prayer conference. We asked for the Lord's grace to do all that needs to be done. We finally asked that the Lord would use the brochures that are being sent out to capture the hearts of all those who He wants to attend the conference.
