    • Thank You YAH that You are always good to Israel!

    • The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness, o Lord!

    • Thank You Lord that the battle belongs to You!

    • Thank You for your kindness towards Israel as shown in the rain which fell last night!

    • Thank You for granting us the privilege of being a part of what You are doing!

    • Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered!

  2. Security of Southern Israel

    More rockets fell yesterday in Beersheva. We thank the Lord that there were no people injured We prayed:

    • Give an angelic shield of protection over Southern Israel.

    • Thank You Lord for the defensive weapons you have given such as the Iron Dome.

    • Please God encourage the residents of Southern Israel.

    • Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.

      Psalm 83:1-2

    • Do not keep silent, o God!

    • Bring the enemies of Israel to shame!

    • Protect the children and heal them from their emotional injuries. Give them joy even as they spend time in bomb shelters. Give them a vision for living in their land. Reassure them through Your word.

  3. Israel's leadership

    The rockets were ostensibly a response to Israel's army killing of an important terrorist leader in a recent surgical strike - in which only those wanted terrorists who are targeted by Israel are killed. This is symptomatic of a more pro-active stance taken in recent months by the Israeli authorities in contrast to simply waiting for and reacting to terrorism. Pray:

    • That Israel would not be deterred from taking pre-emptive action against terrorism by the condemnation of the nations. The leaders would not be ruled by fear of man.

    • For a good flow of accurate information to enable Israel's leaders to see what attacks are being planned.

    • For good use of intelligence to prevent attacks against Israel.

    • For boldness in carrying out pre-emptive strikes.

    • Raise up more informers among the Palestinians and protect them!

    • Minimise the casualties from these strikes. Protect the innocent.

    • Protect Israel from more kidnappings.

    • Reveal to our leaders any weaknesses in our defences so that they can be covered.

    • Reveal Yourself, Lord, to terrorists even on the way to perform their wicked deeds!

  4. US Elections

    As America's Presidential Election campaign is getting into full swing we prayed for the role of Israel in this campaign:

    • Let Israel become a positive issue in the campaign rather than an impediment. We are grateful that many of the statements already made reveal that candidates are treating seriously the positive relationship between Israel and the USA.

    • Thank the Lord for candidates who are taking a positive stand with regard to Israel. May this represent real policy positions rather than simply campaigning for the popular votes.

    • Open the eyes of the American Jewish community 78% of whom voted for Obama in the previous election.

    • Remove Obama's scepter of authority. Have mercy, Lord and don't let him have four more years as President.

    • Expose Obama's true agendas and tie his tongue, especially regarding Israel!

  5. Iran

    In the past week a US drone, an unmanned, reconnaissance aircraft came down in Iran and is being shown off by the Iranians. This piece of equipment is the very latest in technology and its loss represents a major coup for the Iranians over the USA. In accepting the loss without any action President Obama gave a clear signal that he is afraid to enter into a conflict with Iran. This is, in turn, a clear message to Israel's leaders that we stand alone and we cannot expect any military action from Obama against Iran. We prayed:

    • That Israel's leaders would recognize this message from Obama and understand its consequences for Israel.

    • That our enemies knowledge of the technology used in the drone would not be able to be used against Israel.

    • For clarity and boldness in knowing what Israel needs to do.

  6. Benyamin Netanyahu

    Our Prime Minister is under pressure from all sides. It seems that every week he needs a new strategy in order to handle a new shift in world events.

    Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

    1 Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV

    • We give thanks for Bibi as a man of vision who is seeking the truth - bring him godly revelation!

    • Anoint his use of time and ability to prioritize.

    • May he know Shalom Bayit - peace in the home. Make his home and family a place of peace and refuge for him.

    • Thank You, Lord that he has taken biblical position on many issues and done the right thing.

    • Bring Bibi into relationship with You!

    • Give him true friends and confidants, contact with believers and wise counsel.

    • Give him discernment of spirits.

    • May he walk in godliness and reverence and may this example give a blessed lead to the people of Israel.

  7. Syria

    Over 4000 people have been killed during months of internal conflict between protesters and government forces. President Bashar al-Assad has threatened to attack Israel if military action is taken against him. If Assad falls this would break the link between Iran and their proxies Hezbollah in Lebanon. This would be of benefit to Israel. However, Assad could well be replaced with a Moslem Brotherhood regime in Syria which might well be much worse for Israel.

    • May God's will be done in Syria!

    • Please God, break the power of Hezbollah!

    • Thank You, Lord that the Golan Heights, which form the border between Israel and Syria, are still an integral part of Israel!

    • Keep Israel alert towards the potential threats from Lebanon and Syria.

    • Turn the people of Syria to You! Protect the believers both physically and spiritually. Bring revival and salvation of multitudes!

    • Protect the tiny Jewish community in Syria and bring them home!

  8. Aliyah

    The Jewish Agency recently initiated advertising in the USA directed towards the Jewish community, challenging their assimilation into the US culture and encouraging them to make aliyah. This caused great offence to leaders in the Jewish community and such a reaction that Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered the cancellation of the advertisements. Pray:

    • Thank God for this provocation of the Jewish community. May they come more and more to recognize that they are living in exile and return home to Israel.

    • Cause the leaders of the Jewish community to be convicted about their unwillingness to obey God's word to come home.

    • Stir up millions of Jews to ask what the fuss was about and to view the advertisements and be prompted to make aliyah.

    • Cause this seed to grow!

    • Thank you, God that it caused offence because it was the truth. Bring the Jews home!

    • Stir up the Messianic Jews in America to come home!

    • Raise up more organizations to bring the exiles home. Give much more vision in the Church to pray and give resources to the aliyah.

    • Remove the obstacles to aliyah. Break the power of the Ministry of Interior to prevent the mass aliyah which God's word calls for.

    • Thank God for those American Jews who have come to do military service in Israel. May they decide to stay! Make them an example and a provocation to others.

  9. International Prayer Conference Jerusalem: January 23rd - 30th 2012

    This will be our 28th annual prayer conference. We are seeking to encourage young people to participate in intercession and are willing to offer scholarships to enable those aged 18-30 to attend. In particular we want to offer these scholarships to young Israel believers so they can be taught and equipped for a calling as intercessors. Pray:

    • for pastors who will discern the calling of young Israeli intercessors, and alert them to this opportunity to join the prayer conference.

    • For young Israeli believers to get the burden for intercession.

    • For the freedom (from jobs, studies, gaps in military service requirements, family responsibilities) to enable them to give a week to attend the conference.

    • That God would supply all the finances for all the young people He wants at the conference.

    • Last year there were 13 people in this age bracket who benefited from some sponsorship. May there be more this year!
