He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children's children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them.

The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.

Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure. Bless the Lord, all His works, in all places of His dominion.

  1. Israels' Government

    Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

    1 Timothy 2:1-3

    We prayed for the government, for the Prime Minister, inner cabinet, that all in leadership would be upheld by the Lord in the midst of an intense social, political and security situation in Israel.

    • Lord raise up righteous government with wisdom to make right decisions and not to make decisions because they might be unpopular politically.

    • Let the leaders keep their focus on all the things which are crucial to the nation, not being side-tracked by the election process.

    • Make our leaders speak the truth and not be afraid of what the other nations might say or think!

  2. Elections in Israel

    On 22nd January 2013 Israel is due to hold a General Election to elect a new Knesset. This week the "Shas" Party reorganized to bring back Aryeh Deri into it's leadership. Deri was convicted of bribery and served two and a half years in prison but is now making a political comeback. A popular and charismatic speaker, Deri's return is expected to attract more support for "Shas", the main party representing the ultra-Orthodox, Sephardi community. Israel needs leaders who love God's word and not those who are corrupt and who will bring our nation and the God of Israel into contempt.

    • Lord, keep out the corrupt and raise up righteous leadership, so that the nation might prosper.

    • Raise up men after Your own heart!

    • If Bibi Netanyahu is Your chosen leader give weight to him, his words and his actions.

    • If Bibi is not Your man for this hour, raise up someone righteous.

    • Give us leaders who are like Noah, righteous and clean in all his generations and he walked with the Lord, those who are also, humble enough to receive correction. (From this week's Torah portion, Genesis 6:9)

  3. Iran

    No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.

    Isaiah 54:17

    • Bring down, o Lord, those who speak destruction over Israel!

    • Cause Ahmedinajad, Khamenei and the other Iranian leaders to make critical errors! Lead them into confusion, division and distraction! Lay a trap which they would fall into!

    • Bring down the power of Islam. Set Your throne in Elam (Iran)! (Jeremiah 49:34-39)

    • Open the eyes of the Iranian people to the truth and cause them to rise up against their evil government!

    • Raise up the Iranian believers in prayer! Give them Your strategies for their intercession! Show them how to walk and how to pray! Make them bold to speak out and give wisdom and discernment to know when and where to speak! Bring about a spiritual change in Iran which will shock the world!

    • Save multitudes of Iranians. Let more scriptures be available in Farsi language. Use radio, internet and other mass media to save many!

    • Send dreams and visions to those seeking the truth and show them how to find You!

    • Let Iran's weapons be turned against those seeking to use them to destroy Israel!

    • Cause accidents and problems and a lack of progress in their nuclear program!

    • Show Israel's leaders what Israel needs to do to eliminate the Iranian threat in the world!

  4. Military Exercise - Israeli/US Relations

    Operation Austere Challenge 12, the major Israel-US exercise testing our capabilities to defend against air attack, is due to begin next week.

    • Lord, protect all the troops involved in this exercise!

    • Teach those involved everything that needs to be learned from it!

    • Bless all involved with good communication. Prevent crossed-wires or other accidents!

    • Grant good relationships between Israelis and Americans at all levels!

    • Make the US a blessing to Israel by being a good source of support but protect Israel from over-dependence on the US! May Israel and her leaders trust in You, Lord, rather than putting our trust in the US!

    • May Israel's leaders not be afraid to make decisions which are right for the good of Israel, even when they expect an unfavorable reaction from the US.

  5. US Elections

    The third and final TV debate of the Presidential Election campaign takes place next Monday and is set to focus largely on foreign policy issues. This puts Israel and Iran in the public attention in a big way.

    • May the focus of public attention on Israel bring blessing to Israel!

    • Prompt many to pray more for Israel as a result of this extra attention!

    • May a President be elected who will resist the evil in Iran and do the best for Israel!

    • Break the manipulative power of the media which would seek to cause the people to believe what they want the people to believe! Give the people discernment to see through the manipulation and understand the truth!

  6. Aliyah

    • Thank You, Lord, that You are at work bringing Your people home and building up the nation of Israel! Despite wars and rumors of wars, despite all the obstacles to Aliyah, we see the nation blossoming and flourishing. Thank You that You are not bothered by all that would prevent You having Your way!

    • Bring the Jews home from the north, the south, the east and the west, as you promise in Your word. (Psalm 107:3)

    • Send more fishermen to help bring the Jews home! (Jeremiah 16:16)

    • This week thousands of delegates have been in Israel for a conference celebrating the centenary of the Hadassah American Women's Zionist Organization. Send them home, Lord, with a good report, so many of them will have a growing desire to return to make Israel their home!

    • Plant a burden for Aliyah among the existing Israeli population, that they may embrace the new immigrants as brothers rather than reject them as a nuisance!

  7. Eliyahu and Chuck

    • Our brothers are still overseas, this week leading a conference in North Carolina, USA. Refresh and anoint them, equip them with Your Holy Spirit working through them both and through all the local people facilitating and leading this conference!
