1. Having just finished celebrating the fall feasts of our Lord, we began by thanking Him for all of the prayers He has answered. Of course, since He never changes (Malachi 3:6), we expect that He will continue to answer all prayers prayed in line with His will (1 John 5:14-15).

    • Thank You for being a God who hears and answers prayer (Psalm 50:15).

    • How wonderful to us that You revealed that You delight in the prayers of the righteous (Proverbs 15:8b)!

    • What a miracle it is for Israel at this time to be an island of peace in the middle of a chaotic Middle East.

    • We are blessed to have Bibi Netanyahu as our Prime Minister.

    • Thank You for all of the building going on in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem (Ezekiel 36:8-11).

    • We bless You for the Golan Heights still being part of Israel.

    • With all of the 'peace' talks, there is still no 'Palestine' - a direct answer to our prayers (Isaiah 14:29-32).

    • We are so grateful for all of the Israelis that You are adding to the Body of Messiah.

    • Thank You for the increase in aliyah, the return of the Jews, this past year (Jeremiah 33:7).

  2. Next Tuesday, October 1st, PM Bibi Netanyahu will speak at the UN annual General Assembly meeting in NYC. We have already heard US President Obama's surrendering of America's position as a superpower and making a ludicrous comparison between the danger to the ME, and the world, between an Iranian nuclear weapon and the Israeli-Arab 'peace' process. Then the world was enchanted by the 'charm offensive' of Iran's new president, the 'moderate' Hassan Rouhani. We prayed for Netanyahu to be used of God to bring forth a strong word from Zion.

    • Again, we thank You that Israel's Prime Minister is Netanyahu and not any of the other politicians who were running for that position.

    • Abba, he is Your man for this hour (Daniel 4:25b). Therefore, speak to him and through him clearly.

    • Lord, overshadow the speech writers and write the speech that You want to hear from Bibi. The king's heart is in the hand of YHWH as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He will. (Proverbs 21:1)

    • We have often heard him speak truth from the UN podium. Do it again - for Your holy name's sake.

    • We say to Bibi in the spirit - be strong and of good courage (Joshua 1:6) - for God has your back!

    • Protect him mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

    • Protect him from any and all satanic plans to frighten, distract, deceive or confuse him.

    • May the fear of God overrule any fear of man in Netanyahu. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in YHWH shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25)

    • Thank You that You are showing Bibi that Israel can only depend on You and on the IDF, which You have raised up for this nation to defend itself (Isaiah 41:10-16; Micah 4:11-13).

    • Concerning the meeting he will be having at the White House with Obama on Monday, September 30th, enable Bibi to not compromise one iota on Israel's demands concerning Iran or the Palestinians.

  3. We next prayed for the intercessors in our respective nations - that they would be watching and praying, while having a clear understanding of how central Israel's restoration is to God's end-time goals and the return of Messiah Yeshua.

    • Awaken US intercessors to how vital this WH meeting is for the destiny of their nation. If Obama continues to press for Israel's land to be divided, God's dealing with the US in judgment could increase dramatically. For, behold, in those days and in that time, when I will bring again the exiles of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will fight with them there for My people and for My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land. (Joel 3:1-2)

    • Inspire intercessors stand in the gap before God for their nations so that He might come in mercy and not judgment (Ezekiel 22:30-31; Habakkuk 3:2).

    • Lord Yeshua, raise up shepherds in Your Body who are not afraid to speak the truth about Your continuing relationship with Israel and the Jewish people (Jeremiah 31:35-37).

    • Pray for the body of believers in your nation to see clearly the connection between nations being judged and how they relate to Israel. [Why God Judges Nations]

  4. There is continuous pressure - from both outside and inside Israel - to 'make peace' with the Palestinians by creating a 'Palestine' through the dividing of God's land. Besides the many biblical reasons as to why this cannot be God's will, there are many practical reasons as well as to why this would be very dangerous to Israel. Look at what happened with Gaza, or South Lebanon when Israel left those regions - both part of the promised land. Then there is all of the hate education being poured into the younger generation in PA schools, as well as the PA's demand for the return of five plus million so-called refugees to whatever is left of Israel proper and Abbas' refusal to recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland. So what does the world want Israel to do? Disappear?

    • Lord, we are so tired of this constant ungodly pressure coming against the inheritance You have given us to inherit. Arise God. Scatter Your enemies (Psalm 68:1).

    • Do not let the heathen come into Your inheritance (Psalm 79:1a).

    • Watch over Your declared word in Psalm 10:16: YHWH is King forever and ever; the heathen have perished out of His land.

    • Abba, we remind You of this that You have stated: Howl, O gate! Cry, O city! O Philistia, all of you, are melted away; for from the north a smoke comes, and no straggler in his ranks. What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That YHWH has founded Zion… (Isaiah 14:31-32a)!

    • God, enable Israel to resist the manipulation of our 'friends' in the West who are pressing us to do something that is diametrically opposed to Your will.

    • Keep PM Netanyahu's eyes on You and Your word (Psalm 121:1-4).

    • Lord, hedge in all the politicians and media personal in Israel who want to divide this land.

    • Confound and confuse them (Psalm 129:5).

    • We proclaimed over the peace process: YHWH brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He breaks the plots of the people. The counsel of YHWH stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations. (Psalms 33:10-11)

    • We also proclaimed, Associate yourselves, O people, and be broken! And give ear, all from the far places of the earth. Gird yourselves and be broken. Gird yourselves and be broken! Take counsel, and it is frustrated. Speak a word, and it shall not stand; for God is with us. (Isaiah 8:9-10)

  5. The Iranian threat just got worse. By wooing the world at the UN, Rouhani has given Iran more time to finish their goal of developing nuclear weapons. While the world talks with Iran, the centrifuges keep spinning. If God does not intervene sovereignly - which is our first choice - then Israel will need to make a major decision about attacking militarily in the very near future.

    • God, deal with mercy on both Israelis and Iranians by eliminating this threat once and for all.

    • Come, behold the works of YHWH, who makes ruins on the earth; who makes wars to cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariots in the fire.

      Psalms 46:8-9

    • Confound Iran's wicked leaders, who speak smooth words, but war is in their hearts (Psalm 55:21).

    • Press Rouhani to overplay his 'charm offensive.'

    • Do not allow any international pressure to come on Israel as a result of Rouhani's call for Israel to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.

    • As You said You would do to Egypt - and we are seeing it - so do to Iran. In that day Egypt [Iran] shall be like women; and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of YHWH of Hosts, which He shakes over it. (Isaiah 19:16)

    • Continue to save multitudes of Iranians.

    • Reveal to them the dangerous path that their political and Islamic leaders are treading upon. God brought him [Israel] forth out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of an ox. He shall eat up the nations, his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. He crouched. He lay down as a lion, and as a great lion. Who shall stir him up? Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you. (Numbers 24:8-9)

    • If Israel needs to strike militarily, enable them to do so with optimal effect.

    • Give Israeli leaders the exact timing, methods and weapon systems to use.

    • Raise up other voices besides Bibi and Israelis leaders to warn the world of the threat of an Iranian WMD.

    • Raise up awareness in the Body of Messiah to what an Iranian nuke would really mean to their nations.

  6. Aliyah - the return of Jews in exile to Israel - is absolutely God's will today. We thank God for a steady return of around 20,000 in recent years, but we want to see many more come home. It is here, in the land, where God promises to remove the veil and enable His people to look unto the One they have pierced - Messiah Yeshua - and to repent with deep mourning (Zechariah 12:10-13:1).

    • Thank You Abba, for all of the Jews whom You brought back from exile last year. More, Lord!

    • From this Shabbat's prophetic portion: Fear not; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Do not keep back; bring My sons from far and My daughters from the ends of the earth; everyone who is called by My name; for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. (Isaiah 43:5-7)

    • Lord, open up the eyes of the Jews in the West that now is the time to return - before the full force of anti-Semitism, that is, the prophesied hunters (Jeremiah 16:16) - comes to pass.

    • Release the 25,000 Iranian Jews to be able to leave that nation with all of their family.

    • Make Israel very attractive for Jews in exile. Strengthen our economy, our unity and our ability to live in peace in this tough neighborhood.

    • Multitudes of Jews visit Israel every year and then go back 'home'. Somehow show them that this is home. Marry them to Your land (Isaiah 62:4-5).

    • For Messianic Jews in exile, touch their hearts that they need to be willing to hear and follow on the path of their Shepherd - even when it is a challenge. They were in the way going up to Jerusalem. Yeshua went before them, and they were amazed, and as they followed, they were afraid. (Mark 10:32a)

  7. We prayed next for all Israel to be saved. Please pray for the Jews in your area, as well as the Jews in Israel, to have a living encounter with the Risen Messiah and bow the knee to Him as did Saul/Paul on that road to Damascus. Pray as specific as you can - whether for individual Jews that you are in touch with or for groups - like Holocaust survivors, IDF soldiers, rabbis, politicians, actors and actresses, musicians, scientists, philosophers, unsaved loved ones of Messianic Jewish families, etc.

    • I will pour on the house of David, and on the people of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications. And they shall look unto Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be bitter over Him, as the bitterness over the first-born.

      Zechariah 12:10

    • For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you should be wise within yourselves; that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the nations has come in. And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is My covenant with them, when I have taken away their sins. Indeed as regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes. But as regards the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

      Romans 11:25-28

  8. We finished by praying for the true Body of Messiah - those who although born from above, are blind to the truth of both Israel and the spirit of Islam. They are our family, but they are in deep darkness and need for the Lord Yeshua, the Light of the world, to give them light to see.

    • For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we shall see light.

      Psalms 36:9

    • Yeshua Lord, have mercy on Your blinded followers and show them the truth about both Israel and Islam.

    • Do not allow them to curry favor with the satanic spirit of Islam, while at the same time, turning their backs on Your people.

    • Show them the obligation they have to the Jewish people (John 4:22; Romans 9:1-5; 15:8-12, 27).

    • Raise up anointed, courageous preachers and teachers to feed Your flock.

    • Use ex-Muslim believers to speak the truth about Islam.

We have entered the rainy season in Israel. While we are so grateful to God that Israel's water crisis was declared over last year, still we do not take the water in this land for granted. Please join us as we pray for rain.
