1. We began by reading Psalm 106:1-5:

    • Hallelujah! O give thanks to YHWH, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. Who can utter the mighty acts of YHWH, or cause all His praise to be heard? Blessed are those who keep judgment, he who does righteousness at all times. Remember me, O YHWH, with the favor of Your people; O visit me with Your salvation, that I may see the good of Your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, to glory with Your inheritance.

      Psalms 106:1-5

    • We bless You that You do not change (Malachi 3:6). So Israel is still Your people, Your chosen, Your nation and Your inheritance, as are we who are in Messiah Yeshua - grafted into Israel's olive tree.

    • We trust in You to be faithful - regardless of our struggles (2 Timothy 2:13).

    • You are a covenant making and a covenant keeping God.

    • Thank You for giving us both Your written Word and Your Son - the Living Word (John 1:14).

    • We are truly grateful for that part of the Body that stands with and intercedes for Israel.

  2. This past week saw another meeting of the P5+1 nations negotiating with Iran concerning its nuclear program. Iran's Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, said openly that he has no faith that these talks will succeed - yet he is willing to talk. The US administration has also softened expectations of reaching a deal. Yet everyone is talking about extending the talks for another couple of years! In this week's first meeting, Iran said they refuse to take apart any of their equipment or dismantle any facilities or centrifuges - yet the P5+1 are still willing to talk - and release billions of dollars to Iran in the form of the lifting of sanctions and freeing frozen assets. Talk about a world gone crazy!

    • Lord, why are You waiting? What are You wanting to hear from us in prayer?

    • Arise and scatter Your enemies in Iran before they obtain a weapon of mass destruction (Psalm 68:1).

    • Abba, we are wanting You to move sovereignly to show all the world that You are God. Arise, O God, judge the earth; for You shall inherit in all nations. (Psalms 82:8)

    • If You are wanting Israel to deal with this global Shiite threat, impart courage and strength, wisdom and timing to Israel's responsible leaders to do it (Jeremiah 51:20).

    • We thank You for Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu who has been warning about this for over 20 years - and even to the dismay of the P5+1 leaders - is still sounding a warning about Iran's real intentions.

    • Lord, reveal the real heart intention of Iran's current leadership for all the world to see (Luke 12:3).

    • While we do not rejoice over the death of the wicked, we thank You for the increased battles between Al-Qaida and other Sunni radical forces with Iran's agents like Hizbullah and Assad's Syrian army.

    • Lord, we remind You that You said that You would bring down the king and princes of Elam, that is current Iran (Jeremiah 49:38). Please do so quickly.

  3. Jeremiah 49:38 also indicates that multitudes of Iranians will be saved - as God says He will set His throne in Elam. We are hearing reports of just that happening, as well as Muslims coming to know Messiah Yeshua throughout the world - even in Syrian refugee camps in Jordan and Muslims living in London! So we added our prayers for the downfall of Islam through the salvation of its adherents.

    • Abba, bless You for turning so many of our enemies into our family.

    • May You bless them that curse us with a revelation of Messiah Yeshua (Matthew 5:44).

    • Thank You for the multitudes who are being drawn into Your Son's kingdom (Colossians 1:12-13).

    • Add to their numbers in whatever way is needed. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name. Let them be ashamed and troubled forever; yes, let them be put to shame, and lost; so that men may know that You , whose name is YHWH, are the Most High over all the earth. (Psalms 83:16-18)

    • Lord Yeshua, please guide those ex-Muslim believers who are supposed to return to their home nations with the good news. You know the Word which God sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the gospel of peace by Yeshua the Messiah (He is Lord of all!); (Acts 10:36)

    • Protect and use them. Supply all their needs to do that which is Your will.

    • Give to ex-Muslim believers a deep revelation that Israel's restoration is for Your glory (Psalm 115:1-3).

  4. The 3rd 'Christ at the Checkpoint" [CATC] conference is scheduled for next month. This wicked anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist, anti-Word of God affair will negatively influence many believers in the nations and in Israel that God is not big enough to both fulfill His prophetic promises and still be a God of justice. Unfortunately, some well-meaning Messianic Israeli leaders will be speaking, hoping to sway the crowd from its path, but basically just adding to the farce that this conference is open to hear from all sides.

    • Lord, please have mercy on all those who will be there - from those viciously opposed to Israel being a state to those who think they can modify the conference by 'unity' and 'love'.

    • Lord, reveal to the latter that You told us to guard the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:3), yet there can be no such unity with those who reject Your covenants with Israel and with the Jewish people.

    • Yeshua, show those who are truly Yours that there can be no real fellowship between light and darkness.

    • Abba, show those who are truly Yours the sinful condition of their heart as they oppose what You are doing with all of Your heart and soul (Jeremiah 32:41).

    • God, based on what You said in Genesis 12:3, this conference is under Your curse. We ask that You would curse their finances to the point to where the whole ugly event needs to be cancelled.

    • Messiah, we are asking that You use the Israeli Ministry of Interior to not allow the entry of some of these spiritual enemies of Israel.

    • Lord, use Kay Wilson's column to wake up believers who may be sitting on the fence over this event.

  5. The Equal Burden law, to insure that Israeli ultra-Orthodox Jews serve in the army, passed its first reading - imposing criminal sentences for those who do not serve. Yet it is not a real solution and may do more harm than good. This has been a growing problem since the birth of the modern state of Israel in 1948. We do not have any solutions either - but we do pray to One who does.

    • Abba, You said in Ezekiel 37 that when You brought us back from exile, You would make us one on the mountains of Israel. Please do not allow this bill to divide this nation any further.

    • Lord, if You would please reveal Your solution, we commit to interceding for it to happen (Amos 3:7).

    • Refine this bill so that it accomplishes all that You have in mind for this time. There are many thoughts in a man's heart, but the counsel of YHWH - that shall stand. (Proverbs 19:21)

    • Do not allow the threat of ultra-Orthodox violence to affect the final outcome.

    • Lord, it would be wonderful if You could bring a solution out of the ultra-Orthodox community itself.

  6. A never-ending dripping on a very rainy day and a quarrelsome woman are alike. (Proverbs 27:15) And both remind us of US Secretary of State Kerry and his 'never-ending' plans to make peace between Israel and the Palestinians. With so much of the world burning, to concentrate this kind of energy on this issue proves that Israeli Defense Minister Ya'alon was correct in calling Kerry 'obsessed'. To us, that means there are demonic spirits at work here - so Israel's real protection comes from the watchmen God has placed on its walls (Isaiah 62:6-7).

    • Lord, reveal what Kerry's framework deal really says - and do so before the Israeli government needs to make a decision for or against, so that we can pray with understanding (1 Corinthians 14:15a).

    • If possible, keep Kerry away. Have him obsessed with some other issues - like the Ukraine riots, or North Korea, or the Iranian threat or even 'global warming' - which he said is the most dangerous weapon of mass destruction facing the planet today! [Does he really believe that? If he does, this proves how deceived this man is. If he does not, then what does that say about his statements on the 'peace' issue?]

    • Lord, wake up more of the Church in America to see how dangerous it is for their nation to be leading this attempt to divide Your land (Joel 3:1-2).

    • God, as You kept Britain's PM Cameron away because of the massive flooding the UK is dealing with, so do something to keep Kerry away. Do it with mercy - but do it!

    • Abba, since this is Your land (Leviticus 25:23; Ezekiel 36:5; Joel 3:2; etc.), we ask You to guard the integrity of it.

    • As it looks like Israel and PM Netanyahu are in a trap, we remind You of Psalm 124: Except that it was YHWH who was for us, may Israel say; except that it was YHWH who was for us when men rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; then the waters would have flowed over us, the stream would have gone over our soul; then the proud waters would have gone over our soul. Blessed is YHWH, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of YHWH, who made the heavens and earth. (Psalms 124:1-8)

    • Continue to harden the hearts of the Palestinian leadership - especially in their refusal to recognize Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people and their refusal to give up the right of return of their so-called 'refugees'.

  7. We prayed next for rain. Israel is going through a very dry winter and we are in desperate need of God to open up the heavens and pour out of His abundance. Ask rain from YHWH in the time of the latter rain. YHWH shall make storm clouds, and He gives them showers of rain, grass to everyone in the field. (Zechariah 10:1) Since we are told to ask, we did and ask that you would stand with us.

  8. Aliyah - the immigration of Jews from exile to Israel - has happened at the strangest times in modern Israel's history. The beginning of the massive million plus Russian exodus from the former Soviet Union occurred while Saddam was shooting scuds at Israel. So with the Middle East in chaos today, it is a great time to pray for another massive return of His people to His land - for His glory!

    • And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you [Israel] have profaned in their midst. And the nations shall know that I am YHWH…when I shall be sanctified in you [Israel] before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own land.

      Ezekiel 36:23-24

    • [When] I have brought them again from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations, then they shall know that I am YHWH their God who exiled them among the nations. And I have gathered them to their own land, and have not left any of them there.

      Ezekiel 39:27-28

    • We ask that You would increase aliyah exponentially.

    • Prepare the Jews in exile to come home and prepare Israelis to receive them with open arms.

    • Abba, somehow release the 25,000 Jews who are trapped in Iran (Isaiah 62:10).

    • Lord Yeshua, open the hearts of Messianic Jews in exile to hear You say, 'Return to the land of your forefathers" (Isaiah 35:10; 51:11).

    • Impress upon the Jews in the UK and Europe that the time to come home - with their silver and gold (Isaiah 60:9) - is now.

    • Abba, it is not too late for Holocaust survivors to return and spend their final days at home. Do it for Your holy name's sake.

  9. We finished by praying into Israel's security situation. While no one wanted modern Israel to be a nation of warriors, yet it is a fulfillment of prophecy (Isaiah 41:15-16; Micah 4:11-13; Zechariah 12:6, etc.). So we prayed for our security forces, the Messianic believers in the IDF, and all of our borders, as well as for security in the midst of the nation.
