1. We looked at 1 Corinthians 15:39-49 to start this morning's session. This led us to praising God for all that He has done for us in and through Messiah Yeshua.

    • We thank You Father for sending Your Son to save us and change us. Behold what manner of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He shall be revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope on him purifies himself, even as that One is pure. (1 John 3:1-3)

    • Bless You Messiah Yeshua, for the hope of the glory of God that You have given to us (Romans 5:2).

    • Thank You Almighty God for Your creative and keeping power.

    • What a precious gift is the Holy Spirit. Praise You Yeshua for sending Him (John 16:7, 13-14).

    • Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing… Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever.

  2. This next week Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu will be traveling to America, where he is scheduled to meet with US President Obama on Monday. He will also be meeting with other leaders and speaking in various venues during this time. So we again prayed for him.

    • Abba, it is obvious that Bibi is Your man to lead this nation at this time (Daniel 4:25b; 5:21b). We ask You to give him health, strength, wisdom and protection in all of his travels.

    • Open his ears to hear from You - especially over this weekend before he flies off to America.

    • Protect Bibi from all demonic schemes being hatched against him and this nation (Numbers 23:23).

    • Lord, how my foes have increased! Many are the ones who rise up against me. Many are saying of my soul, there is no deliverance for him in God. Selah. But You, YHWH, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head.

      Psalms 3:1-3

    • Abba, have mercy on Obama. Pierce his heart by the words Bibi speaks to him (Isaiah 2:3b).

    • Prevent Netanyahu from making any comments/commitments that are not in line with Your will.

    • As we have seen You do in the past, anoint him afresh for all of his speaking engagements.

    • Give Netanyahu wisdom to whom in Israel he should be listening to and to whom he should not.

    • Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself.

      Psalms 80:17

    • We continually pray these verses over Israel's leader: Proverbs 16:9; 19:21; 21:1.

  3. This is a crucial week for America. Many of this nation's leaders have turned away from God, with legalized gay rights and legalized marijuana as just a few of the many examples. This once great fortress of truth and justice has become a laughingstock to most other nations who are not impressed or concerned with what comes forth from the current US administration. Thank God for the US Congress as it is more often in line with God's will than the President and his appointees. Yet there is really only one group in America that can turn the tide - the Body of Messiah. But if American believers are not seeing what God is doing today - restoring Israel for His glory and judging nations who hinder this - then who can stand in the gap? So we prayed for our brothers and sisters in America.

    • I sought for a man among them who should make up a wall for the land, and stand in the gap before Me that I should not destroy it. But I found no one. Therefore I poured out My fury upon them…My wrath. I have given their way on their heads, says the Lord YHWH.

      Ezekiel 22:30-31

    • Lord, wake up Your Body to stand before You - to see Your mercy on America and not Your judgment.

    • Abba, help American believers see the biblical connection between US administrations trying to divide Your land and the increased judgments on their nation (Joel 3:1-2).

    • Wake up influential pastors and other Christian leaders to set the trumpet to their mouth this weekend and call their flocks to persistent intercessory prayer over the issue of America's relationship with Israel.

    • May a cry come forth to You from the US Church this next week that covers Bibi's time in America.

  4. This Sunday, the Haredi - the ultra-Orthodox Jews - have called a mass prayer rally against the 'equal-burden' legislation that Israel's government is trying to pass. This law is an attempt to rectify the 'get-out-of-the-IDF' free card that most Haredi men use to avoid serving in Israel's army. While the law being decided on is not perfect, it is at least is an attempt to deal with this issue. Yet several rabbinic councils have actually 'declared war' on this attempt. This wicked response could cause an even greater chasm in Israeli society.

    • Abba, we remind You of Your promise in Ezekiel 37:21-22: …Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone…and will bring them into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be king to them all. And they shall not still be two nations, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

    • Lord, prevent this rally from bringing even greater division into Israel society.

    • In fact, Lord, cancel this rally! Since the leaders have declared 'war', we ask You to watch over Your Word and send very stormy weather: Have you entered into the storehouses of the snow? Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, which I have kept for the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? (Job 38:22-23)

    • If the rally does take place, may Your hand of protection be over it so that no 'hot-heads' ignite violence.

    • Hinder large numbers from showing up at this rally.

    • Since no women are invited, cause wives to talk their husbands into not going.

    • Lord, as it is called to be a prayer rally, we ask that for whoever is there - they actually pray.

    • Surprise some of them with an answer and convict many that it is Your will for them to join the army.

    • We bless You for all of the Haredi that are serving in the IDF today - with distinction.

    • Yeshua, please attend this rally and walk among them, opening up eyes to their true King Messiah.

    • For thus says YHWH, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations. Cry out, give praise and say, YHWH, save Your people, the remnant of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:7) Amen.

  5. Israel has taken responsibility for having attacked a missile shipment from Syria heading into Lebanon - to Hizbullah terrorists. Hizbullah has threatened revenge. We prayed for Israel's protection on its northern border.

    • Thank You for Israel's boldness to watch over its declared redlines and not permit any game-changing weapons to be shipped to Hizbullah from Syria, Iran or wherever.

    • Continue to allow Israel to be pro-active in dealing with threats to its citizens.

    • As we have often prayed on that border. May those prayers be before Your throne at this season.

    • You said after the priests of the Lord cry out to You, one way You would answer would be to destroy the northern army threatening Israel (Joel 2:20).

    • Lord of hosts, we trust You to watch over this nation (Psalm 121:4; Jeremiah 31:10), yet we also know that You often do that through using Israel's armed forces (Isaiah 41:10-16; Zechariah 12:2-9).

    • Therefore, we ask that You would keep the IDF super alert during these days.

    • Enable the communications between all sections of the IDF to be clear and precise.

    • You are allowing much confusion and chaos to be manifested in the midst of all of Israel's neighboring enemies. We thank You for that, yet ask for mercy on all the innocent ones caught up in this maelstrom.

    • As in the days of old, Lord use unconventional means to scatter Israel's foes. [Gideon and 300 men; the Angel of the Lord; four lepers, etc.]

    • Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O YHWH.

      Psalms 83:16

    • Let them all be ashamed/confounded and turned back, those who hate Zion.

      Psalms 129:5

    • Next Thursday evening, IFI will hold another of its quarterly prayer gatherings in the north of Israel. It will be a perfect time for believers to gather and pray for protection of this area. Please ask for the Lord to impart His burden of intercession on those who will be there.

  6. The current chaos in the Ukraine has got the 200,000 strong Jewish community very concerned. Some are even asking for Israel to send armed guards to protect them. But what needs to happen - and we are hearing of it beginning to take place - is for Israel to do whatever it takes to open wide the doors for this endangered community to come home - to make aliyah - to the land of Israel.

    • Abba, use this upheaval to wake up many of Ukrainian Jews that now is the time to return to Israel.

    • It seems that You are releasing the hunters of Jeremiah 16:16. May they be as effective as they need to be to chase Your people back - yet have mercy on Your people at the same time.

    • We say to the north, 'Give up!' (Isaiah 43:6a).

    • Yeshua, impart to the Messianic Jews in the Ukraine what Your will is for them.

    • Shake out many of them from their exile and bring them home.

    • Thank You for the Christian organizations who are helping to carry Your people back (Isaiah 49:22).

    • Give to the Jewish Agency and the IDF concrete plans for massive evacuations of these Jews in danger.

    • Use this very dangerous situation in the nation, with the threat of a Russian invasion at least in parts of the Ukraine, to divert some attention and pressure off of Israel for a season.

  7. We have been praying into this mid-March Christ at the Checkpoint conference in Bethlehem. It is an anti-Zionist, anti-Word of God, Palestinian Liberation Theology event which brings great harm to the Body - through the outpouring of end-time deception by the blasphemous doctrines and distorted truths declared there. It also brings a curse upon the Body of Messiah because the conference basically curses the Jewish people whom God is restoring to His/their land (Genesis 12:3; 27:29; Numbers 24:9).

    • Lord, since You said this is something You would curse, we ask for a drying up of its finances, and a blanket of dullness to fall on all the speakers.

    • Help the local Israeli Messianic Body see through the lies and not to lend a hand to this endeavor. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot be partakers of the Lord's table and of a table of demons. (1 Corinthians 10:21)

    • Do not allow the lure of 'love', or 'unity', or 'dialogue' entice believers into Satan's snares.

    • Abba, use Arab believers who are Zionists to speak out against this conference.

We finished by praying again for water. It has been the driest January and probably February for Israel on record. While there is not a water crisis yet, we are praying for God to have much mercy on His land and people in this area.

We also prayed for security in Jerusalem over this weekend. The Temple Mount is becoming more and more of a flashpoint of violence, so we covered that briefly in prayer.
