1. Lord, this morning, teach us how to pray.

    • Our Father in heaven, may Your name be sanctified. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done, as in heaven, so on the earth.

      Matthew 6:9-10

    • We declare that You are sanctifying and glorifying Your name by the restoration of the Jewish people to their land and ultimately to their Lord, Messiah Yeshua (Ezekiel 36:23-28).

    • We see this end-time restoration of Israel as in part an answer to the Church's 2,000 year old prayer request that Your will be done on earth.

    • Thank You for Your patience and faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23).

    • We rest in and trust in Your overriding sovereignty (Psalm 103:19).

    • Thank You for the revelation of Yourself that You have given to us in Your Word.

    • We are confident that as we pray in line with Your will, You will hear and do that which is pleasing in Your sight - in Your timing and Your way (1 John 5:14-15).

  2. Israel's agriculture endeavors need rain. While there is not a water crisis per se, because of Israel's desalinization plants, still the ground needs the water from heaven.

    • Lord, as You instructed us, we are asking You for rain in this time of the latter rains (Zechariah 10:1).

    • Since this is Your land (Psalm 85:1; Ezekiel 36:5) and Your people (Exodus 3:7; Psalm 148:14), we look to You to supply this need.

    • We bless You for the rain and snow You have sent this past winter - but please, more Lord.

    • Thank You for giving Israelis wisdom for this nation to be a world leader in desalinization technology.

  3. As of Friday morning, it appears that the final release of Palestinian terrorists from Israeli jails will not take place Saturday evening. The Palestinian Authority is threatening to end the 'peace' process and take their case to the UN and other international forums to be recognized as a state. If that happens, it could be the final nail in the coffin of this false peace - and that would be in line with end-time prophetic events.

    • Lord, use this to stop the division of Your land and the scattering of Your people (Joel 3:1-3).

    • Give to Israel's current government some integrity and backbone and do not allow them to cave in a release any further terrorists.

    • Give this government resolve to stop giving and not receiving anything - other than further demands.

    • Bring the government into one accord, so that with one voice they say, 'Enough!'

    • Lord, make this government one that is in line with Your definition of a godly government:

      Let every soul be subject to the higher authorities. For there is no authority but of God; the authorities that exist are ordained by God. So that the one resisting the authority resists the ordinance of God… For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the bad. Do you desire to be not afraid of the authority? Do good, and you shall have praise from it. For it is a servant of God to you for good. For if you practice evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, a revenger for wrath on him who does evil.

      Romans 13:1-4

    • Forbid any Israeli Arab prisoners are ever released because of Palestinian Authority demands.

    • Lord, we thank You that US Secretary of State Kerry's framework 'peace' deal has not been released yet, mostly because of Russian President Putin's foray into the Crimea.

  4. Palestinians have threatened to riot in case these terrorists are not released on time.

    • If Palestinians riot - either in the prisons or in the land - enable Israel's security forces to deal with them swiftly and efficiently.

    • Allow there to be clear communications between officers and soldiers in the field.

    • May Israel's security forces be more concerned with protecting the innocent on both sides than they are with how they might look in the media.

    • He dug a pit and bored it, and has fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return on his own head, and his violence shall come on his own crown.

      Psalms 7:15-16

    • Remove the fear of man from the IDF.

      The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in YHWH shall be safe.

      Proverbs 29:25

    • Enable Israel's prison security guards to be quick to respond to any uprising and the ability to quell it with a minimal - yet sufficient - amount of force.

    • Impress on the government the need to fully support Israel's security forces.

    • Bring great unity into the IDF leadership.

  5. There has been an upturn in attempts to smuggle weapons and other goods into Gaza, as well as the discovery by the IDF of two huge tunnels leading from Gaza into Israel. These tunnels were big enough for men to walk upright in and were built with cement that the world pressured Israel to supply to the Palestinians. The tunnel's purpose was to kidnap and/or kill Israelis.

    • Abba, forgive us from abandoning Gaza, our inheritance (Joshua 15:21, cp. v. 47; Zephaniah 2:4-7)

    • Lord Yeshua, release Your angelic host to watch over Israel's border with Gaza.

    • Thank You for revealing these tunnels. We ask that You would reveal all of them.

      For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, nor anything hidden that shall not be known.

      Luke 12:2

    • Provide Israeli scientists with new ways of uncovering things hidden underground.

    • Continue to use the Egyptian army to close all the tunnels on Gaza's southern border with the Sinai.

    • Lord, we plead with You to forbid any further successful kidnapping.

    • Sow chaos in Gaza among Hamas' leadership.

      Let them be humbled and put to shame, those who seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be brought to confusion, those who plot evil to me. Let them be as chaff before the wind; and let the Angel of YHWH drive them away. Let their way be dark and slippery; and let the Angel of YHWH pursue them. For without cause they have spread their net for me in a pit; without cause they have dug for my soul.

      Psalms 35:4-7

  6. Israel's northern border with Syria and Lebanon has seen an increase of anti-Israeli attacks.

    • Abba, thank You that despite efforts by previous governments, Israel did not give the Golan to Syria.

    • We confess that the Golan - biblical Bashan - is part of our inheritance, and we bless You for it.

    • Watch over the promise You made for this area:

      I will again bring Israel to his home, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied on Mount Ephraim and Gilead. In those days… says YHWH, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and it shall not be found; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

      Jeremiah 50:19-20

    • Continue to help Israel both hear and see into enemy territory (2 Kings 6:8-12).

    • Help the IDF to maintain a high level of alertness and to be pro-active when needed.

    • We bless You for continually confounding those who hate Zion (Psalm 129:5).

    • Abba, we cry to You to not let man prevail against You and Your plans:

      Asa cried to YHWH his God and said, YHWH, it is nothing with You to help, whether with many or with him who has no power. Help us, YHWH our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. YHWH, You are our God. Do not let man prevail against You. And YHWH struck the Cushites before Asa and before Judah. And the Cushites fled.

  7. We prayed into the upcoming elections in both Egypt and Turkey. In Turkey, these municipal elections will have a big impact on Prime Minister Erdogan as either an approval of his ever-increasing dictatorial powers and his leading of the nation deeper and deeper into Islamic rule - or a rejection of him and his plans. In Egypt, General Sisi is running for president. He is an enemy of the Muslim Brotherhood, not an enemy of the Christians in Egypt, and has had good contacts with the Israel's military.

    • Lord of all, bring this arrogant, anti-Zionist Erdogan down (Proverbs 18:12).

    • Do not allow Israel's government to approve compensation for the families of the terrorists who the IDF had to kill when they stopped the Gaza flotilla several years ago.

    • God, restore Israel's good relations with Turkey without Israel needing to beg for it.

    • Father, thank You for General Sisi.

    • May he win the upcoming presidential elections overwhelmingly.

    • Use him to protect Egyptian Christians.

    • Strengthen the relationship between him and certain Israeli military leaders as well as the relationship between the IDF and the Egyptian army.

    • Abba, quicken the day when many in Egypt call upon Your name:

      In that day five cities in the land of Egypt shall speak the language of Canaan and swear to YHWH of Hosts… In that day there shall be an altar to YHWH in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at its border to YHWH. It shall be for a sign and for a witness to YHWH of Hosts… for they shall cry to YHWH because of the oppressors, and He shall send them a deliverer, and a great one, and will deliver them. And YHWH shall be known to Egypt, and Egypt shall know YHWH in that day… And YHWH shall strike Egypt; He shall strike and heal; and they shall return to YHWH, and He shall hear them and shall heal them.

      Isaiah 19:18-22

  8. We prayed next for many Ukrainian Jews to make aliyah - to immigrate to Israel. There are about 200,000 Jews in the Ukraine. Last year 2,000 came home and this year the Jewish Agency thinks that double that number will return. We are asking for many, many more.

    • Lord, wake up the Ukrainian Jews to see the dangers that is surrounding them.

    • Cause them to want to leave.

      Fear not; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Do not keep back; bring My sons from far and My daughters from the ends of the earth; everyone who is called by My name; for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

      Isaiah 43:5-7

    • Bring them home to Israel and not to America, Germany or any other mid-way point.

    • Press the Ukrainian Jewish rabbis and community leaders to lead their people out of 'Egypt' to their promised homeland.

    • Use their relatives who are already settled in Israel to draw them home.

    • Help the Jewish Agency to bring them home and not to aid them to build up their Jewish communities in exile.

    • Abba, cut through all the red tape that Israel tends to throw around new immigrants.

      Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way of the people. Raise up, raise up a highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples.

      Isaiah 62:10

    • We are so grateful to You for helping Israel's economy to remain strong and resilient in these days of global economic shakings.

We ended by blessing God for the recent reports confirming the 'Big Bang' theory of creation. While some believers were upset with this, many Israeli scientists and biblical scholars were thrilled as this seems to line up with what Genesis 1 relates concerning creation. It is interesting that the Bible states that the Word of God is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89). As science explores the universe, it seems that more and more things that line up with God's settled Word become evident. Of course, we believe by faith - yet it is nice to see many scientists go from atheists to seeing the evidence of an intelligent design in the cosmos, to some even coming to a complete faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through His Son, our Messiah Yeshua.

For He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son; in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the First-born of all creation, for all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him.
