We began by reading a few verses from Psalm 10.
-
Arise, YHWH; O God, lift up Your hand; forget not the humble…YHWH, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart, You will cause Your ear to hear.
Psalms 10:10, 17 -
We humble ourselves before You this morning, wanting to hear You leading us in prayer.
-
You came in humbleness to the earth (Zechariah 9:9; Philippians 2:5-8), and today You look with grace upon all who humble themselves before You (James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5).
-
We bless You for Your continued faithfulness and mercy to us and to all Israel (Malachi 3:6).

Jerusalem has been on edge in recent weeks, seeing street battles in Arab areas between the locals and Israeli security forces, as well as a series of terror attacks by cars and knives. The main source of conflict is the Temple Mount. Israel is trying to keep the status quo with Jews and Christians not being allowed to pray or bring a bible there yet the Palestinian leadership spreads lies that Israel wants to tear down the Al-Aksa Mosque and build the 3rd Temple. [They do not call it this as they deny there ever was a 1st or a 2nd Temple.] Prime Minister Netanyahu met in Amman, Jordan yesterday with King Abdullah and US Secretary of State Kerry and has taken off all restrictions of who can go up to the mount to pray today. So we prayed for security for Jerusalem and all the innocent people in Israel.
-
Abba, keep the weary security forces sharp and alert.
-
Protect and watch over them as they protect and watch over Your nation (Psalm 121:4).
-
Lord, place Your restrictions on Your
holy hill of Zion
(Psalm 2:6). -
O Lord, how my foes have increased! Many are the ones who rise up against me. Many are saying of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God. Selah. But You, O YHWH, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head. I cried to YHWH with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah.
Psalms 3:1-4 -
We pray for Jerusalem's peace over this weekend (Psalm 122:6).
-
Watch over Jerusalem for Your holy name's sake (Psalm 132:13-14).
-
Strengthen Israel's government to not bow down to the pressure from the current US administration.
-
Do not allow the fear of legal humanistic restrains prevent the security forces from stopping the wicked and protecting the innocent in Israel.
-
Enable the Israeli government and people to support the security forces in this very difficult battle.
-
-
A budget has been presented to the Israeli parliament and has passed its first reading. Now it has to go to various committees add or subtract items and then it has to pass two more readings before it is approved. If the budget is not approved by the end of 2014, then Israel goes to new elections and unless that is 100% God's will, it is a costly and difficult process to have to deal with.
-
Lord, watch over this coalition until it is Your perfect timing to raise up a new government.
-
Use the difficult negotiations to make Finance Minister Yair Lapid the man You want him to be.
-
Tweak the budget until it lines up with Your will for this nation at this time.
-
Impart to Israeli politicians Your priorities.
-
May the budget not forget the orphans, widows, the poor and the Holocaust survivors.
Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; save them out of the hand of the wicked.
(Psalms 82:3-4) -
Give us a budget that reflects the economic blessings that You have poured out on Israel.
-
Bring Bank of Israel President Flug and that whole group into alignment with Your will.
-

The P5+1 (the 5 permanent UN Security Council nations + Germany), are in the final days [Nov. 24th] of negotiating with Iran over its dangerous nuclear program. So far, Iran has come out on top, with both sanctions and demands on it being loosened. If Iran is left as a nuclear-threshold state, which means it will not have atomic weapons but will be able to produce them in a few months, this will be totally unacceptable to Israel. Yet, the signs point to US President Obama wanting a deal at any cost, even though Iran's Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, gave a speech outlining what needs to be done to destroy Israel just this past week!
-
Lord, we ask You to overturn the negotiation tables.
-
Remove the spirits of delusion, compromise, appeasement and humanism from the negotiations.
-
Arise, YHWH; let not man prevail. Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, YHWH, let the nations know they are but men. Selah.
Psalms 9:19-20 -
Make it obvious that there is no willingness on Iran's part to compromise at all.
-
Lord, break through the arrogance of Western leaders who think that the rest of the world thinks like they do that the rest of the world views life by their specific filter. It is a lie from hell's pit!
-
Place on them a spirit of godly fear to learn the harsh lessons of history and not repeat them.
-
Use Russia's recent agreement with Tehran to build Iran several more nuclear power plants to put the fear of God in the rest of the negotiators.
-
As per Jeremiah 49:35,
break the bow of Elam [ancient Persia/Iran].
-
And watch over this declaration of Yours as well:
I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy the king and the rulers from there, says YHWH.
(Jeremiah 49:38) -
We declared into the spirit realm to the leaders of the P5+1 nations the following:
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.
(Galatians 6:7)
-
-
We have very little faith of a reasonable deal that Israel could live with. Therefore, we prayed for Israel to be prepared with a godly response to a nuclear-threshold, Islamic fundamentalist, Shiite State.
-
Lord, download Your battle plans on how to deal with this threat to Israel's security cabinet.
-
Anoint Your appointed leaders Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ya'alon to have wisdom and courage from on high to know what to do and when to do it (2 Samuel 5:24).
-
Block any less important issues that come up that will hinder Israel's leaders from giving this all the focus it needs as an existential threat to this nation and its people.
-
If Israel decides it has no choice but to attack, may it be so overwhelmingly successful that the fear of Israel's God falls on all of the surrounding nations (Psalm 115:1-3).
-
Prepare all branches of the IDF to totally destroy the Iranian threat and to be prepared for the day after.
-
Make even the weakest among Israel's army like David (Zechariah 12:8).
-
Fear not; for I am with you. Be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong; I will help you…Behold, all those who were angered against you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing. Those who fight with you shall perish…men warring against you shall be as nothing…For I, YHWH your God, will hold your right hand, saying, Fear not; I will help you. Fear not, worm of Jacob and men of Israel; I will help you, says YHWH, and your Redeemer, the Holy of Israel. Behold, I make you a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; you shall thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them. The wind shall carry them away, and a tempest shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in YHWH and glory in the Holy of Israel.
(Isaiah 41:10-16) Amen!

In line with the above, a new Chief of Staff for the Israeli Defense Forces needs to be chosen very soon as the current CoS Gantz is retiring next February. This is a vital position that needs to see God raise up His chosen vessel at this time. Please intercede, asking God to overrule any decisions that are not in His will and to give to this person all of the wisdom and courage they will need in the near future.

This wicked 'peace' process refuses to die. The world is obsessed with wanting to divide God's land to create another Arab-Islamic Jew-free state. It does not matter what the Palestinians do, nor how many Jews they kill, the West has a blind spot to their true heart-intent and deals with them with a form of racism that basically says, "We should not expect them to act like civilized people when they are under the boot heel of Israel and the Jews." Welcome to the last days!
-
Behold, I [YHWH] will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the peoples all around, when they shall seige Judah and Jerusalem [The 'occupied territories'!]. And in that day I [YHWH] will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples. All who lift it shall be slashed, even if all the nations of the earth be gathered against it.
Zechariah 12:2-3 -
Lord, how much longer will Israel need to face the pressure to do something totally against Your will (Leviticus 25:23)?
-
Strengthen its leaders and people to say 'No' to the world and 'Yes' to You.
-
Abba, wake up the true Church in the rest of the world to see how furious this dividing of Your land makes You and the danger to their nations if they are pressing Israel to do it.
-
For, behold, in those days and in that time, when I will bring again the exiles of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will fight with them there for My people and for My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.
Joel 3:1-2

We continued to stand on our watch over the issue of aliyah the return of the Jews scattered among the nation to their homeland the land of Israel. Anti-Semitism continues to raise its ugly head and threaten the life of God's people. In some nations, they are seeing the graffiti on the walls and beginning to return in larger numbers Ukraine and France being the two most current examples. Yet in many nations of the West, the Jews seem stuck. Let's pray for God to unstick them however He chooses to do that. Pray for the Jews in your nation and city. Please do not forget to also pray for the believing Jews to see that God expects the redeemed to return as well (Isaiah 35:10; 51:11).
-
Fear not; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Do not keep back; bring My sons from far and My daughters from the ends of the earth; everyone who is called by My name; for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yes, I have made him.
Isaiah 43:5-7 -
I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. And the nations shall know that I am YHWH…when I shall be sanctified in you [Israel] before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own land.
Ezekiel 36:23-24

We asked God to save His people, the remnant of Israel (Jeremiah 31:7b). Please pray for more Jews to have a revelation of Messiah Yeshua.
-
We bless You for the new openness to Messiah Yeshua many of us see in many Israelis.
-
Give the increase to that which we have planted and watered in their lives (1 Corinthians 3:6).
-
Abba, destroy the lies that both Rabbinic Judaism and Christianity have built surrounding Your Son. After all, if the Jesus who is preached is not the historical Jew who walked in the land of Israel then it is another Jesus and another gospel (2 Corinthians 11:4)!
-
Yeshua, like Joseph before his brothers, reveal Yourself to Your brothers according to the flesh, the Jews (Genesis 45:1).
-
Since we are back in the land, pour out that clean water and heart of flesh that You promised.
For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from your idols. I will give you a new heart, and will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh, will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them.
Ezekiel 36:24-27

We finished by asking God for His blessings on the Israeli Body of Messiah, that we would know who/what is from Him and who/what is not and that we would be students of His Word, so that we could see that which He is doing in our days and stand with Him for His holy name's sake.
We thank you for standing with us and with Israel.
