1. Looking over Jerusalem on this morning, with the sun rising on God's special city, we were very grateful for both who our God is and that He has privileged us with being able to pray here.

    • Hallelujah, the Lord God Almighty reigns (Revelation 19:6).

    • We praise You for the record-setting rain You released over this nation this past week, and how by that, You drenched all further plans of the enemy concerning violence and terror in Israel (Job 38:22-23).

    • Yeshua, We bless You who has all power/authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18).

    • Blessed Lord YHWH! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and stretched out arm. Nothing is too great for You... Behold, I am YHWH, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

  2. There is an increase in reports of Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu looking to call for new Israeli elections - with next March as a possibility. If the reports are to be believed, he is looking to dissolve the Knesset. If true, part of Netanyahu's frustration is with his coalition partners who are too often pulling in different directions - making it nearly impossible to accomplish anything positive for the nation. Still we wonder if this of God, and if so, what is His timing?

    • Abba, provide Israel with a government through whom You can be glorified (Psalm 115:1-3).

    • Lord, give us revelation of Your will in this so that we know better how to pray (James 1:5).

    • ...the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will.

      Daniel 4:25b

    • Messiah Yeshua, as we pray into this, we rest in knowing that ultimately, the government is upon Your shoulders (Isaiah 9:6).

    • At this decisive time, provide for Israel a government that can really govern.

    • Raise up leaders with discernment to cut through all of the idle chatter and dissident voices.

      Because of the transgression of a land, many are its rulers; but it is prolonged by a man of discernment who knows right.

      Proverbs 28:2

    • Since there is a time for very purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1), we ask for Your perfect timing for the next Israeli elections.

  3. We prayed for PM Netanyahu. What he has to deal with is unimaginable, with intense pressure coming on him from inside the government and from most governments in the world.

    • We thank You for him and Your sustaining of him.

    • Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself.

      Psalms 80:17

    • Impart to him wisdom and courage, discernment and supernatural energy.

    • Surround him with godly advisors, and hedge him in from all others (Psalm 3:3).

    • Pour out Your blessings on his family life.

    • Protect him from all of the accusations of the devil.

    • Protect Netanyahu from all assassination attempts.

    • May this be true for Bibi:

      Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is only in the Law of YHWH; and in His Law he meditates day and night.

      Psalms 1:1-2

    • Guard Israel's prime minister from all manipulation and witchcraft.

    • If 'witchcraft' is pulling him to new elections - break it (Numbers 23:23).

    • Override Netanyahu's thinking in any areas that are not in line with Your will (Proverbs 19:21; 21:1).

    • Deal with Bibi so that he does not allow the ultra-Orthodox to be a part of any government he is head of, unless it is absolutely Your will.

    • If Bibi does not know You through Messiah Yeshua, reveal Your Son to him today (John 6:44).

  4. US President Obama has two years left in office and will be facing a 'hostile' Congress starting in January. Often presidents try to build their legacy in these final two years - yet when faced with a hostile Congress, the only area that they can realistically do that is in foreign affairs. And that historically has meant pressing Israel to divide its land to create 'Palestine' - thus creating 'peace'. Of course, that formula is totally at odds with reality, with history and with God.

    • Lord God, protect us from the Obama administration and the John Kerry-led US State Department - as both have proven to be at-odds with what is best for this nation.

    • Tie Obama and Kerry up with so many other issues that they have very little time left to deal with Israel.

    • O Lord, how my foes have increased! Many are the ones who rise up against me. Many are saying of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God. Selah. But You, O YHWH, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head.

      Psalms 3:1-3

    • Cut off from Your people the thought that our existence depends on our relationship with America.

    • We declare that our existence has and will continue to depend on Your covenant commitments to this nation and her people.

      Thus says YHWH, who gives the sun for a light by day and the laws of the moon and stars for a light by night, who divides the sea when its waves roar; YHWH of Hosts is His name; if those ordinances depart from Me...then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.

      Jeremiah 31:35-36

    • May Israelis' infamous 'stubborn and stiff-necked' disposition be used in a good way when it comes to saying 'No" to the division of this land.

    • Give to Israel representatives who can resist the pressure to divide Your land, logically and powerfully.

    • Anoint Israel's Foreign Ministry to be part of the solution.

    • As Avigdor Lieberman is our Foreign Minister, make him all You want/need him to be today.

    • Take from the wisdom and wit You have given to Israeli UN ambassador Ron Prosor, and place it on many others throughout Israel's diplomatic corps.

    • Defend us against all diplomatic and lawfare assaults - in line with Your promise in Jeremiah 31:10.

    • Raise up in Israel's diplomatic corps representatives and ideas that are in line with Your will and Word.

  5. In God's Word, He expects the gentile part of the Body of Messiah to stand with, comfort, pray for and help in other ways, the restoration and ultimate redemption of Israel and the Jewish people (Isaiah 40:1-2; 49:22; 52:7; 60:3-5, 9-10; Jeremiah 31:6-7; etc.). As we were from various nations, we prayed for the believers in our home countries to do just that - so that by being a blessing Israel they can also open the way for God's blessing to come upon their nations as well (Genesis 12:3).

    • We thank You for all those in the Body who do stand with Your purposes for Israel. More Lord, please.

    • Remove all 'evil' shepherds from Your flock and empower all those who declare Your will (Ezekiel 34).

    • Revive a 'Back to the Word' movement in the hearts of all Your children throughout the world.

    • May more American believers see the danger that their current President is doing to both the US and to Israel and take a stand before You - crying out for mercy (Habakkuk 3:2).

    • Lord, we grieve at hearing that the UK city of Leicester has decided to boycott all Israeli products. Aid the believers there to stand against it and do not allow this wicked virus to spread.

    • We also prayed specifically for believers in Australia, Canada, China, Cyprus, Iran and South Africa.

  6. Iran gained a victory this past week with another extension of the P5+1 negotiations on its nuclear energy program. This gives Iran another seven months to get that much closer to developing a nuclear bomb and the Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles to deliver them.

    • Lord, please destroy this nuclear weapons program and receive all of the glory when You do.

    • Arise, YHWH, disappoint him, bow him down; deliver my soul from the wicked...

      Psalms 17:13a

    • Thus says YHWH of Hosts: Behold, I will break the bow of Elam [ancient Iran], the chief of their might. I will bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven on Elam, and will scatter them...I will cause Elam to be afraid before their enemies...and I will bring evil on them, even My fierce anger, says YHWH. I will send the sword after them until I have destroyed them; and I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy the king and the rulers from there, says YHWH.

      Jeremiah 49:35-38

    • Lord, if Iran's bow is its ICBM program - break it, as You said in Jeremiah 49:35.

    • Destroy the king and rulers - by bringing down this wicked Shiite fanatical regime (49:38).

    • Set Your throne in Iran - by continuing to save multitudes of Iranians (49:38).

    • Give the Iranian Church much wisdom to know how to pray for their nation and its threats vs. Israel.

    • If You decide to use Israel's military to destroy this danger, give it its leaders and the IDF the wisdom, courage, timing and weapons that it will need to do the job totally (Jeremiah 51:20-24).

    • Enable the next IDF Chief of Staff to be in one accord with Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ya'alon on the issue of Iran - as well as on all other areas of his responsibility.

    • Protect all of Israel's spies and collaborators in Iran (Joshua 2:1-11).

    • If need be, hang the modern-day 'Hamans' on the gallows they have built for the Jews (Esther 7:10).

    • Strive, YHWH, with those who strive with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of a shield and buckler; stand up for my help... Let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net which he has concealed catch him, let him fall in it, into destruction.

      Psalms 35:1-2, 8

  7. Aliyah was the next target of our prayers. Aliyah, the immigration of the Jews home to Israel, is on the upswing because anti-Semitism is also on the upswing. We perceive that as God releasing the 'hunters' of Jeremiah 16:16.

    • Abba, the hunters are being given a freer hand. Wake up Your scattered people to quickly return to Zion.

    • Lord, in Isaiah 49:22, You specifically call the gentiles to carry Your people home. Help the gentile believers to see that You are speaking to them.

    • Give them wisdom to help financially, with transportation, food, housing, hiding or actually carrying.

    • Bring back all family members of those Jews who have already come home.

    • Over this upcoming Chanukah season, make Jews - especially Israelis in the nations - homesick.

    • Use Christmas to show the Jews in the nations that they are strangers in a strange land (Exodus 2:22).

    • Lord, give dreams and visions to rabbis that they need to prepare and lead their congregations home.

    • How shall we sing YHWH's song in a foreign land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth; if I do not prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy.

      Psalms 137:4-6

  8. God brings His people back to His/their land so that He can bring them to His Son - Yeshua, their Messiah. So we prayed next for Israel's salvation. As you do this, make it as specific as possible - praying for Jews you have contact with. Also, pray for specific groups of Jews. God is moving and many Jewish people are coming to a saving knowledge of Messiah Yeshua. Even more are having seeds planted and watered, waiting for God to reap the harvest.

We ended by praying for safety in Israel this weekend - whether on the roads, or from terror attacks, etc.

Thank you for persistently with us in prayer - for God to be glorified in having His kingdom come and His will be done - as in heaven so in Israel!
