1. We read from Psalm 50, and then praised our Almighty God and King.

    • The mighty God, YHWH, has spoken…Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone. Our God comes, and He is not silent; a fire shall devour before Him; it shall be very stormy all around Him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, so that He may judge His people. Gather My saints to Me; and those who cut My covenant by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare His righteousness; for God Himself is Judge. Selah.

      Psalms 50:1-7

    • We bless You Lord, and dare forget not Your benefits (Psalm 103:1-2).

    • What a joy knowing that Your faithfulness is renewed morning by morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

    • Thank You for Your resurrection power (Philippians 3:10).

    • As we look out from this prayer tower, we see You building Jerusalem, gathering her outcasts together (Psalm 147:2) and we feel so privileged to be called to the Kingdom for such a time as this (Esther 4:12)!

    • Hallelujah! God's word is forever established in heaven (Psalm 119:89).

    • Thank You for watching over Your Word to do it (Jeremiah 1:12; Isaiah 55:11).

    • Call on Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. (Psalms 50:15) We do glorify You for answering so many of our prayers: aliyah has increased; Israel's water crisis is solved; the IDF is an exceedingly great army (Ezekiel 37:10); there is still no 'Palestine'; Jerusalem has not been re-divided; and the Body of Messiah in Israel is growing and maturing.

  2. In line with 1 Timothy 2:1-4, we first prayed for the new Israeli government, especially Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked. This government needs to be proactive in many areas and needs our intercessory support.

    • Abba, thank You for Netanyahu. Please sustain and encourage him after a difficult time in putting this government coalition together (Psalm 80:17).

    • Give him wisdom to know what to take upon himself and what should be delegated (1 Kings 3:28).

    • Surround Bibi with people who are trustworthy and who give him godly counsel (Proverbs 11:14).

    • Enable current government ministers to see Your priorities for this hour (1 Chronicles 12:32).

    • May Shaked have success in reforming the judicial system in Israel - especially the Supreme Court.

    • Give her wisdom. Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the mind? (Job 38:36)

    • Lord, provide physical protection for all of Israel's Knesset (parliament) members.

    • Pour out Your unity on this current government coalition (Psalm 133:1).

    • Deafen them to the taunts, threats and lies of the opposition.

    • Abba, allow Benny Begin to be an integral part of this government (Psalm 37:23).

    • We remind You of Your word: And I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as at the beginning; afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. (Isaiah 1:26)

  3. With two ultra-Orthodox [Haredi] parties in the coalition, the legislation passed by the last government pressing young Haredi men into either the workforce or the army is being threatened. Yet we believe that many of this next generation do want to become more of a contributing factor.

    • Lord, wake up the leaders of the Haredi community to see that it is time to join the rest of this nation to see Zion restored (Nehemiah 2:20).

    • As You promised in Ezekiel 37:15-28, make all Israelis one in Your hand.

    • Open up the eyes of Haredi leaders to receive revelation from Your Word concerning this nation and the rest of Your people.

    • Turn many of them back to the ways of the rabbis of the Middle Ages - all of whom worked.

    • We thank You for all of the Haredi who are serving and working and contributing to Israel's growth.

  4. Israel's electoral system needs to be reformed. Bibi wants to do this but has not been very open with his ideas or plans. Still, Israeli Knesset Members [MKs] need to be held more accountable to the people.

    • Lord, we are so thankful that ultimately You reign: For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder. His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order and establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of YHWH of Hosts will do this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

    • Allow Netanyahu's ideas to crystallize into just the right plan to reform the electoral system.

    • Lord, give us a system that allows the government to govern.

    • Give wisdom and a sense of responsibility to all the current MKs.

    • Abba, the United Arab Party are elected by Israeli Arabs to deal with Israeli Arab issues, yet many of them are radical Muslims and/or Palestinian State supporters. Either use them for that which they are elected for, or divide this party into small useless fragments.

    • Cause Israeli Arabs themselves to stand up against all Arab MK anti-Israel plots.

    • Thank You for the Israeli Christians, the Druze and Bedouin who stand with Israel totally. Them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer…for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples, says the Lord YHWH who gathers the outcasts of Israel, and will gather others beside him. (Isaiah 56:7-8)

    • Lord, we lift President Ruby Rivlin to You. This once a right-wing Zionist, since becoming president, has come across as a left-wing appeaser. Please straighten him out. Restore him to his roots.

  5. ISIS seems to be expanding their area of influence daily. Recent reports have them infiltrating both in the Sinai and Gaza. We prayed for the IDF to know what - if anything - they need to do today, and for the Egyptian army to see that Israel is not only not the enemy, but in this battle, an ally.

    • Lord, help Egypt's army in its battle against terrorists in the Sinai.

    • Open wide a channel of communication between Israel and Egypt to actually co-operate in dealing the terrorists groups a fatal blow (Romans 13:3-4).

    • Lord, give wisdom to Bibi, Defense Minister Ya'alon and the IDF Chief of Staff Eisenkot, to know what Israel needs to do and where it needs to be focused in order to protect this nation from all attacks.

    • Yeshua, You are the Captain of heavens armies (Joshua 5:14; Revelation 19:11-17). We ask that You take over total command of Israel's army and use it for Your glory.

    • In the face of all these surrounding threats, we declare, YHWH has prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom rules over all. (Psalms 103:19)

    • Continue to watch over Psalm 129:5 and apply it to the battle between the radical Sunni forces and Iran.

  6. Speaking of Iran, we have no faith that the P5+1 [5 permanent UN Security Council members + Germany] will end up with any kind of a deal that stops Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Either God steps in and deals a death blow to this Iranian nuclear program, or He uses Israel to do it.

    • Iranian Shi'ite Muslims proclaim they love death, therefore, Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; also let those who hate Him flee before Him…Scatter the people who delight in war. (Psalms 68:1, 30)

    • Do not keep silence, God. Hold not Your peace. Be not still. For behold Your enemies roar; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They take shrewd counsel against Your people, and plot against Your hidden ones. They say, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, so that the name Israel may be remembered no more.

      Psalms 83:1-4

    • Abba, send confusion into the minds of Iran's nuclear scientists and technicians, resulting in them making mistakes that cause severe damage to Iran's nuclear program.

    • Lord, release Your archangels to deal with this modern rise of the spirit of Persia (Daniel 10:13; 12:1).

    • God, You who have chosen Jerusalem, defend it from all satanic plans to give it over to Allah, and rebuke this spirit of Persia (Zechariah 3:2).

    • If the IDF is the way You will deal with this very dangerous threat against Israel, we ask for You to guide every step to that attack and for the days that follow.

    • Let the heads of the IDF and the government hear when Your Spirit moves in the trees (2 Samuel 5:24) before they go out to battle.

    • Increase the effectiveness of Israel's cyber-warfare attacks on Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

    • Aid Israel to develop an effective, non-nuclear EMP weapon.

    • May the enemies of the Iranian backed Hizbullah and Syria's Assad's forces, have much success in battling against them.

    • Use the Syrian quagmire to so weaken the terrorist Hizbullah group in such a dramatic way that the Lebanese people themselves rise up against it and throw it out of Lebanon.

    • Lord, watch over Your word: I will set My throne [salvation of multitudes] in Elam [ancient Iran], and will destroy the king and the rulers [the Ayatollah, the mullahs, and the Revolutionary Guards] from there, says YHWH. (Jeremiah 49:38)

  7. FIFA, the international football/soccer association has been pressed by the Palestinian Authority to kick Israel out of their league. This is another evil fruit of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement that has grown against Israel over the past decade. Yet just as this was being discussed, it was revealed that a number of FIFA officials are guilty of corruption. Is this God's timing?

    • Lord, may Your fear fall upon all the FIFA officials (Proverbs 1:7).

    • Thank You for uncovering the corruption.

    • Defeat any and all efforts by the BDS movement (Genesis 12:3a).

  8. We ended by praying for the leadership of the Israeli Messianic Body.

    • Lord, thank You for raising up shepherds after Your heart (Jeremiah 23:3-4).

    • If there are any in the position of congregational leadership who are not supposed to be there, please move them to their God-ordained place in Your Body (Ephesians 4:16).

    • Mature these leaders in Yourself.

    • If any do not see clearly yet, open their hearts to understand what You are doing in restoring Israel, that it is for Your holy name's sake (Ezekiel 36:23, 32).

    • Aid Israeli believers to see Bibi with Your eyes.

    • Pour out a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18) and with that a real discernment to know what is from you and what is not.

    • Help us all to abide/remain in the Vine, Yeshua the Messiah (John 15:1-8).

    • If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, so you shall be My disciples.

      John 15:7-8

May the Lord encourage you as you stand in the gap for His kingdom purposes to come on earth as they are already established in heaven.
