1. From Shabbat's prophetic portion, we read Zechariah 2:10-12

    • Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion. For lo, I come, and I will dwell in your midst, says YHWH. And many gentiles shall be joined to YHWH in that day, and shall be My people. I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that YHWH of Hosts has sent Me to you. And YHWH shall possess Judah, His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

      [Note: this is the only time when Scripture calls the land of Israel 'the holy land'.]

    • We bless You that You are dwelling in Jerusalem's midst today - in the Jerusalem Body of Messiah.

    • We praise You for watching over this nation continually (Psalm 121:4; Jeremiah 31:10).

    • We serve a faithful God. Faithful is He who called you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

    • Ah, Lord YHWH! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and stretched out arm. Nothing is too difficult for You.

      Jeremiah 32:17

      Behold, I am YHWH, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too difficult for Me?

  2. The BDS [Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions] movement against Israel seemed to have picked up steam recently. The British Student Union voted for it. The FIFA barely escaped having to deal with it (and that was an answer to our prayers of last week!) and the communication giant Orange's head man said he would boycott Israel if not for legal constrains here. The modern BDS movement was started by the Nazis in the 1930s. Do these folks today even realize that they are following in Hitler's footsteps?

    • Lord, please reveal the roots of this movement to many who are today for it (Psalm 19:12).

    • Thank You for Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu often exposing these roots. Let his words sink in.

    • Abba, open the eyes and shut the mouths of Israeli opposition politicians who see the settlements as the real reason for the BDS movement.

    • Thank You for some states in America who are making BDS illegal. Bless them (Genesis 12:3).

    • We bless You for all the artists and musicians who still do come to Israel - despite the pressure not to.

    • Anoint Gilad Erdan to deal with this as the BDS movement is part of his new portfolio (Psalm 23:5).

  3. What must grieve the Holy Spirit is not the BDS movement in the world, but in the Church! Whether it is Methodists in England, the Church of Scotland or Presbyterians and others in America, many Christian groups and denominations are openly standing against Israel. And that brings God's ire.

    • Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness…

      Isaiah 5:20

    • Lord, please raise up true prophetic voices to speak unto Your people - especially in the liberal West.

    • Cause Your prophetic word in the Tanach [OT] to become alive in the hearts of many believers today.

    • Since You are restoring Israel with all of Your heart and soul (Jeremiah 32:41), then how can Your children stand against that which is so important to You? Lord, it is humanistic pride. Please remove it.

    • This brings a curse on Your Body (Numbers 24:9). Have mercy. Wake up these deceived believers.

    • Speak to Your true children to flee these groups in this last day (Exodus 9:20; Jeremiah 50:28; 51:6)

  4. Israel's new government needs to start governing and instituting programs and legislations that will benefit this people - and move forward God's program to regather and save all Israel.

    • Lord, we continue to ask You to use this government for Your glory (Psalm 115:1-3).

    • Abba, You used Balaam's ass for Your purposes, so we know that no matter how ignorant or stubborn some government ministers may be, You can use them. We look to You to do it (Jeremiah 32:17).

    • Help the ministers focus on the areas most needed for this people and nation - today.

    • Anoint Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon to set in place economically what is in line with Your will.

    • Perform a miracle and get this coalition to act in one accord in the face of constant attacks from the political opposition and the media (Psalm 133:1).

    • Use Bibi to lead by setting an example of righteous judgements and wise decisions (Psalm 80:17).

    • Tzipi Hotovely's instructions to Israeli diplomats in the world to start using the Tanach as a defense for claiming all this land belongs to Israel is an answer to prayer. We bless her in the name of Yeshua and ask that You guard and encourage her to continue to use Your word (Psalm 119:89; Isaiah 55:11)

    • Grant wisdom and protection to Ayelet Shaked as she attempts to reform Israel's judicial system.

    • We thank You for having Netanyahu bring Dore Gold into the foreign ministry. Grant Gold wisdom from on high to speak truth into all situations in which he finds himself.

  5. Iran: It has just been revealed that there have been contacts over the past year between Israel and Saudi Arabia concerning the threats of both Iran and terrorism - another answer to prayer! Yet the Iranian and terrorist threats grow daily and the world powers negotiations with Iran are more of a benefit towards Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon than a hindrance. So now we have the incredible reality of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt on the same side - with most of the West blinded.

    • Abba, thank You for the contacts between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

    • Lord, while we recognize there is no 'love' between these nations, yet use this to aid Israel if and when it needs to attack Iran's nuclear facilities.

    • Overrule all IDF plans that are not of You. There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against YHWH. The horse is prepared for the day of battle; but safety is from YHWH. (Proverbs 21:30-31)

    • Emphasize in the IDF's command thinking all plans that are of You (Joshua 5:13-6:5).

    • If the IDF attacks, we ask for Your timing and the help of heaven's hosts (Joshua 10:11).

    • Abba, since what is on the P5+1 negotiating table now is so dangerous, we ask that You would watch over all the boastful declarations from America and the other nations that "no deal is better than a bad deal," and do not allow a deal to be signed.

    • Lord, we are shocked that US President Obama does not think Iran's anti-Semitic goals are a reason to halt the talks. [http://www.the-american-interest.com/2015/05/25/obama-anti-semitism-and-iran/] He does not even want to include Iran's weekly threats to annihilate Israel or their backing of global terrorism in these negotiations. Arise, Lord, and deal with this wickedness in high places.

  6. Speaking of Obama, Israel needs to put up with him for the next 20 months. Each interview he gives shows us that he is either totally ignorant of the reality of Israel's situation or an arrogant man who speaks out of both sides of his mouth, or one of the most dangerous leaders the West has ever had.

    • Lord, hedge in Obama so that he cannot do anymore damage to Israel's relationship with most of the American leadership and American people.

    • Give Bibi wisdom to know when to rebuke and when to be quiet re: Obama & Co. (Proverbs 26:4-5).

    • Thank You Lord that most Israelis do not trust Obama.

    • Use his last week's interview on Israeli TV to make more Israelis resistant to the creation of a 'Palestine'.

    • Expose Obama's manipulations and let truth come forth from Zion (Zechariah 8:3).

    • Wake up the USA Church to see how destructive their president is to the very existence of their nation.

    • Encourage American believers to stand in the gap for their nation (Ezekiel 22:30) - and as they do, have mercy O Lord (Habakkuk 3:1-2).

  7. Israel's security situation grows more 'interesting' with each passing day. This past week, Israel had a nationwide drill against a massive attack from all borders. Israelis are aware of the dangers of living in this region, yet most of us choose to live life to the full and remain here. It is a modern miracle that this nation is doing as well as it is. North and east of Israel, ISIS is battling vs. Syrian President Assad and Hizbullah, both proxies of Iran. In Gaza, ISIS claims they have been recently shooting rockets into Israel - although Israel holds Hamas responsible.

    • Arise God, for Your holy name's sake, as defend this nation which You have restored (Jeremiah 31:10).

    • Help the IDF to update all of its war plans to be ready for tomorrow's battles, and not yesterday's.

    • Lord, it seems to us that Assad's defeat in what was once called Syria, would break Iran's Shi'ite crescent of Iran-Syria-Hizbullah [in Lebanon]. If that is the case, we ask for a swift end to Assad and his forces.

    • Continue to force Hizbullah deeper into the Syrian battle and drain it of both manpower and weapons.

    • Thank You for making Israel's enemies to fight each other. For the sons of Ammon and Moab stood up against the people of mount Seir to completely kill and destroy. And when they had made an end of the people of Seir, everyone helped to destroy another. And when Judah came to the watchtower in the wilderness, they looked at the multitude, and behold! They were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. (2 Chronicles 20:23-24)

    • Let them be humbled and put to shame, those who seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be brought to shame, those who plot evil to me…Let destruction come upon him, he will not know; and let his net which he has concealed catch him, let him fall in it, into destruction.

      Psalms 35:4, 8

    • Let them all be ashamed, confounded and turned back, those who hate Zion.

      Psalms 129:5

    • Abba, aid the IDF to know how to deal with Hizbullah's more than 100,000 missiles aimed at Israel and placed in the midst of homes and villages in Lebanon's southern region.

    • Give Israel wisdom to know when and how to arise and thresh… (Micah 4:1-13).

    • If the IDF needs to pre-empt, take away from its leaders any fear of man (Proverbs 29:25).

    • Continue to anoint Israel's military industry to develop and produce more game-changing weaponry.

  8. Today is the 48th anniversary of the start of the 1967 Six Day War. Just before that war, there was great fear as Israelis were digging mass graves and preparing thousands of body bags. The government did not want to pre-empt, yet the military leadership pressed the issue - and the rest is history.

    • We thank You Lord for the miraculous victory over three Arab armies in just six days.

    • We bless You for restoring to Israel Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Sinai and the Golan.

    • We Israelis confess that returning the Temple Mount to Islamic Wakf control was a sin. Forgive us.

    • We Israelis confess that abandoning Gaza was a sin. Forgive us.

    • Lord, give to Israelis and to Jews in exile a love and appreciation for this land - our inheritance from You. He is YHWH our God…He has remembered His covenant forever, the Word He commanded to a thousand generations; the covenant He made with Abraham, His oath to Isaac; and He confirmed it to Jacob for a Law, to Israel for an everlasting covenant, saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; (Psalms 105:7-11) Amen and amen!

    • Abba, we plead with You to bring the government and military into complete unity today.

    • Anoint the security cabinet to face reality and not see through rose-colored glasses.

    • Lord, throughout the Bible and in history, You have enabled Your people to win wars overwhelmingly. Therefore remove the humanistic doctrine of 'proportionality' from both the IDF and the government.

  9. We ended our time recalling that aliyah - the return of Jews from exile to Israel - increased right after the Six Day War. Please pray for the Jews in your nation or region to hear God calling them home and to move here as soon as possible.
