1. We started by reading the following verses:

    • They that trust in YHWH shall be like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains are all around Jerusalem, so YHWH is all around His people from this time and forever, for the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the portion of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity. Do good, O YHWH, to the good, and to the upright in their hearts.

      Psalms 125:1-4

    • Bless You for having this nation in the palm of Your hand (Isaiah 49:16).

    • We confess that You have already set Your king on Your holy hill of Zion (Psalm 2:6).

    • Hallelujah! The rod/scepter of the wicked shall not rest permanently on this land (Psalm 125:3).

    • Thank You for being totally sufficient to meet all our needs (2 Corinthians 9:8).

  2. P5+1 nations [US, UK, France, Russia, China + Germany] are still negotiating with Iran over its illegal nuclear power program. They have passed one deadline after another to try and seal a deal - while crossing one redline after another to appease Iran. And Iran continues to add conditions - the latest being the removal of all UN restrictions on arms imports. Also, today is anti-Israel Quds [Jerusalem] Day in Iran when chants of 'Death to Israel' will reverberate in mosques and in massive demonstrations that will happen in that nation. Yet the P5+1 nations are deaf, dumb and blind to this outward manifestation of the demonic spirit of anti-Semitism. Woe to those nations! Genesis 12:3 still means what it says today. Meanwhile, we continue to pray into this extremely important situation.

    • Thank You Lord, for answering prayer by hardening the hearts of Iranian leaders (Proverbs 21:1).

    • Make their demands so outrageous that not even Obama and Kerry can say yes!

    • Lord, it is greed that is pushing these wicked negotiations, so like You did in the Temple, overturn the negotiation tables and prevent a successful outcome of the current talks.

    • Abba, with greed a factor in this, does Joel 3:3 apply, since they are willing to sacrifice Israel for gain?

    • Whatever You meant by I will break the bow of Elam [today's Iran] (Jeremiah 49:35) - do it now.

    • As You did at the Tower of Babel, when men united against heaven (Genesis 11:6-9), so confound these talks in Vienna. Make it so that they just do not understand each other (Psalm 129:5).

    • God, stiffen the necks of the British and French team who seem more reluctant to give Iran any further leeway than do the Americans, Germans, Russians and Chinese.

  3. Regardless of the outcome of these talks, the end result will not be good for Israel or the rest of the nations in this region. Success only puts off an Iranian nuke by maybe a decade. Failure means Iran presses on with its nuclear weapons program now. Thus we prayed for Israel to know how and when to act against this very real, very serious threat.

    • Lord God, anoint all of Israel's emissaries to the nations to know how to present Israel's viewpoint.

    • We lift up especially those who will be speaking to US politicians - urging them to reject any deal that allows Iran access to nuclear weapons.

    • Give Israel's representatives wisdom and grace to speak truth in a way that pierces American politicians' hearts so that they are then determined to do the correct thing as opposed to the 'politically correct' one.

    • … for the Law shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of YHWH from Jerusalem.

      Micah 4:2b

    • Provide for Israel accurate, actionable intelligence from its many spies and collaborators in Iran and among Iran's proxies terrorist groups.

    • Impart to Israel's leaders who are responsible for making these life-and-death decisions Your strategy and timing. The horse is prepared for the day of battle; but safety is from YHWH. (Proverbs 21:31)

    • Lord, if You are preparing Israel to strike militarily, please make it very clear to intercessors so that we can be praying in line with Your will and timing (Amos 3:7).

    • The Portion of Jacob is not like them; for He is the Creator of all things, and Israel is the rod of His inheritance. YHWH of Hosts is His name. You are My war-club and weapons of war; for with you I will shatter nations; and with you I will destroy kingdoms.

      Jeremiah 51:19-20; see also Isaiah 41:14-16

  4. We turned our attention to Israel's security on all its immediate borders.

    • Hear the Word of YHWH, O nations, and declare it in the nations far off, saying, He who scattered Israel will gather him and guard him, as a shepherd guards his flock.

      Jeremiah 31:10

    • Abba, You have scattered this people and now You are gathering them. Therefore, we trust You to arise and guard them as well (Psalm 121:4).

    • Thank You for enticing Hizbullah into the trap of Syria (1 Kings 22:19-23).

    • Continue to drain their strength and courage and diminish them in the eyes of many other Muslims.

    • Lord, watch over this prophecy in Jeremiah in the wake of the wickedness of Syria's Assad, ISIS, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and all the rest of today's terrorists or terrorist groups: Behold, the whirlwind of YHWH's wrath goes forth, a sweeping storm; it shall fall on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of YHWH shall not return until He has done it, and until He has fulfilled the purposes of His heart. In the last days you shall understand it. (Jeremiah 30:23-24)

    • Yet we also ask for mercy and salvation for many of these terrorists before Ramadan ends next Friday.

    • Lord, guard over this city for Your holy name's sake (Isaiah 37:35).

    • Release the Angel of the Lord to defend Your people, city and nation (Isaiah 37:36; Psalm 35:5-6).

    • Lord, protect all the borders of Israel by quickening all of Israel's security forces - including the navy.

    • We are so grateful that You heard the prayers of many and prevented the Golan from being given away.

  5. It has been revealed that Hamas apparently has two Israeli citizens in their possession. Reports are that both - an Ethiopian Jew and an Israeli Bedouin - have mental issues and just walked over the border sometime within the last year. Still, Israel has an obligation to try for their release.

    • Lord, grant wisdom to the government to end this saga swiftly and with a minimal amount of damage.

    • Prevent Israel from again trading thousands of terrorists for one or two Israelis.

    • Place a hedge around the media as they report this - against their manipulations and distortions aimed at making Israel's conservative government look bad.

    • Lord, shield Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu from being blamed for all of this (Psalm 3:3).

    • Do not allow the spirit of racism to use this to further separate the Israeli Ethiopian community from the rest of the nation.

    • Purge all segments of Israeli society from racism and help us to love our neighbors (Leviticus 19:18b).

    • Abba, this seems to be a 'no-win' situation for Israel. Yet You are the God of the impossible (Matthew 19:26b), so we ask for Your intervention - for Your glory - as this situation is resolved (Psalm 115:1-3).

  6. Unbelievably, even in the face of the chaotic Middle East, there are still those who see Israel's unwillingness to ripe up the 'settlements' as the reason for there being no peace! There are reports that as soon as a deal is signed with Iran, the world will turn on Israel with increasing pressure to 'do something' for peace. And the timeframe could very well be this September at the UN's annual General Assembly meeting. [Just in time for that final blood-moon on the 28th!]

    • Lord, what are You saying? Is this that time when nations come against Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:2-3).

    • God, for its own sake, prevent France from presenting a UN Security Council resolution that will set the borders by dividing Your land and set a timeframe in which to complete a 'peace' deal.

    • Wake up the French Church to see how this move would place them on the precipice of the valley of Jehoshaphat with the severe judgment that is bound to follow (Joel 3:1-2).

    • Yeshua, help the churches in Western nations to see this danger and stand in the gap for Israel and their own nation. I sought for a man among them who should make up a hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it. But I found none. Therefore I have poured out My fury on them…burned them up with the fire of My wrath…given their way on their heads… (Ezekiel 22:30-31)

    • Reveal to American Christians how You want them to pray for President Obama.

    • This is just one more major 'crisis' that the Israeli government needs to deal with. 'How long O Lord?'

    • Abba, give the Israeli government wisdom from on high to know how to respond to this attack on Your land which You commanded us not to divide (Leviticus 25:23)!

  7. There is still one more week of Ramadan, with at least one website saying it actually ends next Friday evening, July 17, at sunset.

    • Lord, have mercy. Save multitudes of Your enemies (Psalm 83:2), and turn them into Your family.

    • For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we are saved by His life.

      Romans 5:10

    • We especially ask that unsaved loved ones of ex-Muslim believers come to a saving knowledge of the King of the Jews, the King of Kings, Messiah Yeshua.

    • Pour out dreams and visions to many - and please include many Jews as well.

    • Lord, protect the Christians in the Middle East and in Israel from the threats of radical Islam.

    • Do not allow any of ISIS' threats against Israeli Arab Christians bear fruit.

    • With the tens of thousands coming into Jerusalem today and next Friday, protect this city from terrorist attacks. As birds flying, so YHWH of Hosts will defend Jerusalem; defending, He will deliver it; and passing over He will preserve it. (Isaiah 31:5)

    • With Sunni Muslims battling Shi'ite Muslims, causing massive destruction in this region, we recall Yeshua's words and ask that You would apply them to the house of Islam: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And a house divided against a house falls. If Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? (Luke 11:17b-18a)

  8. We finished by praying into the ingathering of the Jews from exile - aliyah. This is one of the clearest signs that we are quickly approaching the Messiah's return. Simply put, Jews need to be in Jerusalem, and saved, to invite/welcome back Messiah Yeshua as per His declaration that Jerusalem would not see Him again until it said, Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai - Blessed is He that comes in the Name of YHWH (Matthew 23:39).

    • Lord, aid the Jews in Ukraine and Crimea to hurry back.

    • We thank You for the significant increase in aliyah so far this year - especially from Ukraine and France - and ask for more.

    • Forbid, O God, the Israeli government or Orthodox parties, from placing any stones of stumbling in the path of Your people (Isaiah 62:10).

    • As You have said, bring Your people home by Your love: I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you. (Jeremiah 31:3)

    • Fear not; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Do not keep back; bring My sons from far and My daughters from the ends of the earth; everyone who is called by My name; for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yes, I have made him…This people that I formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.

      Isaiah 43:5-7, 21
