1. Most of IFI's leadership team spent this past week on the Golan and in the Upper Jordan Valley praying for the security situation along Israel's northern border. On the first day it was revealed that two of the leaders had read the following verse in their morning bible reading:

    • YHWH is King forever and ever; the nations [heathen, gentiles] have perished out of His land.

      Psalms 10:16

    • We bless You and declare that You are the eternal King.

    • Messiah Yeshua, You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16)!

    • We affirm that this is Your land and Jerusalem is the city of the Great King (Matthew 5:35; Psalm 48:2).

    • Thank You for giving Your land to Your people by an eternal covenant. The sun went down, and it was dark and behold, a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp passed between those pieces. In the same day YHWH made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, (Genesis 15:17-18)

    • How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, making peace heard; who brings good news, making salvation heard; who says to Zion, Your God reigns!

      Isaiah 52:7

  2. This week a wicked deal was agreed to between the US, UK, France, Russia, China, Germany -the P5+1 nations - and Iran concerning its nuclear program. In appeasing Iran, they have given it the right - against all previous UN Resolutions on this issue - to remain two to three months away from making a nuclear weapon. Yet just last Friday, Iranian cities were filled with cries of 'Death to America", "Death to Israel", "Death to Saudi Arabia" as they 'celebrated' Al Quds (Jerusalem) Day. Our focus in prayer was for Israel's response to this very real existential threat.

    • Thank You for the unity in Israel's security cabinet in rejecting this deal as obligating Israel in anyway.

    • Lord, all of Israel's plans for the 'day after' an Iranian deal that are of You, please confirm. The horse is prepared for the day of battle; but safety is from YHWH. (Proverbs 21:31)

    • All plans that are not of You, remove from Israel's thinking. There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against YHWH. (Proverbs 21:30)

    • Abba, if Israel's military needs to deal with this threat pre-emptively, we plead with You to lead this nation very specifically (Psalm 44:5-8).

    • Lord, let any attack be in Your timing and with Your strategy and tactics (Psalm 44:4; 89:18).

    • Clear away all confusion from Israel's leaders.

    • For Netanyahu, we especially pray, Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. (Psalms 80:17)

    • The king's heart is in the hand of YHWH…He turns it wherever He will.

      Proverbs 21:1

  3. The Israeli Body must know how to respond to this threat to our nation.

    • Arise Lord. Scatter Your enemies that have infiltrated the Israeli body: political correctness, humanism, peace at any price, etc. etc.

    • Thank You Lord, for raising up intercessors in this nation who pray for this nation (Isaiah 62:6-7).

    • Bless You for helping more Israel believers see the need to pray for Israel's security and government.

    • Abba, may 1 Timothy 2:1-2 become a living word to many elders in the Israeli body: First of all, then, I exhort that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

    • Cause the elders to pray more and call the people to pray more.

    • In this battle over Israel's survival, we are the frontline troops against the spiritual forces raging against You and Your plans (Ephesians 6:10-14). Anoint us and teach us how to pray and stand.

    • In that day YHWH of Hosts shall be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, to the remnant of His people, and for a spirit of judgment to him who sits in judgment, and for strength to those who turn back the battle to the gate.

      Isaiah 28:5-6

    • Wake up the Israeli body to the increased danger for this nation now that this Iranian deal is finalized.

    • Open our eyes to see like the children of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do… (1 Chronicles 12:32)

  4. The Church in your specific nation also needs to see how wicked and demonic this plan is - in essence a way of hindering the Lord's return by destroying Israel - and then to stand in the gap for God's plans for Israel and His judgments on your nation. As the UN Security Council will be voting for this next Monday, and as they represent the world community of nations, all nations are in danger of facing His judgment because of His zeal for Zion.

    • Thus says YHWH of Hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. And with great anger I am angry at the nations at ease; in that I was but a little angry, and they gave help for evil… For thus says YHWH of Hosts: He has sent me after glory, to the nations who stripped you; for he who touches you touches the pupil of His eye…And it shall be in that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

      Zechariah 1:14b-15; 2:8; 12:9

    • Yeshua, wake up the Church in America to see how the current Obama administration is leading them straight into the face of Your rage because of Your love for Zion (Isaiah 34:8).

    • Lord, although Obama has threatened to veto any negation of this deal from the US Congress, we still pray for the American Church to pray for their Congressmen and women to vote against this deal.

    • The nations have sold the children of Israel for gain - Iran's business (Joel 3:3). Next we expect that they will demand Israel to divide His land to complete this satanic plan to destroy His nation (Joel 3:1-2). - Lord, only Your people pleading for mercy for their nations and confessing this plan as absolutely not Your will has any chance of bringing any hope of mercy.

    • Abba, open up the eyes our brothers and sisters to see the danger and cry out to You.

    • A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet concerning erring ones: O YHWH, I have heard Your report; I am afraid. YHWH, give new life to Your work in the midst of years; in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

    • Call on Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

      Psalms 50:15

    • With all that is happening in the EU, we ask for a special anointing on the prayers coming up from there.

    • Wake up the elders in EU churches to be outspoken and persistent in preaching truth (Proverbs 8:7).

  5. While up north, we interceded in many ways and in many locations for Israel's security. Our pre-trip plan was to concentrate on the Syrian border, yet God definitely led us to focus on the danger coming from Lebanon via Iran's proxy terrorist group Hizbullah. The P5+1 deal emboldens Hizbullah and should bring a huge financial gain to them - making them that much more dangerous. And considering that they have 100,000 plus rockets and missiles already aimed at Israel…

    • Lord, this organization continually curses Your nation. Watch over Your word which states that You will curse those who curse Your people (Genesis 12:3a; 27:29b; Numbers 24:9b).

    • Strive, O YHWH, with those who strive with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of a shield and buckler, and stand up for my help…Let them be humbled and put to shame who seek after my soul…who plot evil to me. Let them be as chaff before the wind; and let the Angel of YHWH drive them away. Let their way be dark and slippery; and let the Angel of YHWH pursue them. For without cause they have spread their net for me in a pit…Let destruction come upon him, he will not know; and let his net which he has concealed catch him, let him fall in it, into destruction.

    • King of Israel, help Israel to speed up its development of game changing weaponry, specifically with completing David's Sling, the Iron Beam and the tunnel detection device.

    • Impart to Israel's military intelligence the perfect strategy and tactics to deal with Hizbullah. Purposes are established by counsel; and with good advice make war. (Proverbs 20:18)

    • Continue to use the Syrian quagmire to drain Hizbullah's manpower and resources (Jeremiah 49:23-27).

    • In fact, drag them in even more deeply and trap them there. I have laid a trap for you, and you are also captured, O [Hizbullah], and you did not know. You were found and also caught, because you have fought against YHWH. (Jeremiah 50:24)

    • Defeat Assad and as a result, cut off Hizbullah's supply line to and from Iran.

    • Cause the Lebanese people and government to get so fed up with Hizbullah that they rise up against this organization that is destroying their nation.

    • Keep the IDF alert and protected.

    • If You want Israel to destroy this terrorist scourge on our northern border, let Hizbullah's leaders make another major tactical error like they did last time.

    • Yet this time pressure Israel's leaders to let the IDF win (Isaiah 41:14-16)!

  6. We went to Oz 77, and watched a movie about a major tank battle during the Yom Kippur War. Oz 77, or the Valley of Tears, will mean something to those who have been with us on IFI Prayer Tours to the Golan. We were again reminded of the truth that one man can make a difference. Courage in the face of fear is what makes a hero - and we all need that today. So today we prayed that for this nation.

    • Lord, as You said You would do for us in Zechariah 12:6-8, make this nation strong and courageous in the face of the threats and dangers surrounding us.

    • Impart to Your Body a courageous spirit.

    • Remind us that You do not want us to be strong for the Lord - but to be strong in the Lord!

    • David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I come to you in the name of YHWH of Hosts, the God of Israel's armies, whom you have defied. YHWH will deliver you into my hand today. I will strike you and take your head…and give the bodies of the Philistine army to the birds of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth, so that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all shall know that YHWH does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is YHWH's, and He will give you into our hands.

      1 Samuel 17:45-47

    • Cause a courageous spirit to permeate Israel's government, the IDF and its people. Behold, YHWH your God has set the land before you. Go up. Possess it, even as YHWH, the God of your fathers has said to you. Do not fear, neither be discouraged. (Deuteronomy 1:21)

    • May all of Israel cry out to You to deal with all of our many enemies. Asa cried to YHWH his God and said, YHWH, it is nothing with You to help, whether with many or with him who has no power. Help us, O YHWH our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O YHWH, You are our God. Do not let man prevail against You. (2 Chronicles 14:11)

  7. Aliyah was our last target for intercessory prayer this morning. One of the many rotten fruits that the Iranian nuclear deal will have is the stopping of Jews from coming home. After all, if Iran has nuclear weapons and continually threatens to destroy Israel, what Jews would want to move here or bring their families to live in this place? Also, how many Israelis will decide to flee this land for a 'safer' place among the gentiles? Finally, if Jews are not in the land, then how does all Israel get saved (Zechariah 12:10)? Can you now understand why we view this P5+1 deal as born in Satan's headquarters?

    • Lord, as the return of Your people is for Your glory, we know that the enemy will not succeed, but we still ask for mercy and that You would bring Your people home - even in the face of this satanic victory.

    • And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. And the nations shall know that I am YHWH…when I shall be sanctified in you [Israel] before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own land.

      Ezekiel 36:23-24

    • Abba, for the sake of aliyah, do whatever it takes to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons.

    • We bless You for the huge number of young Jews, who live in the nations, whom we saw travelling this land on various outreach programs to bring them here to experience and learn about Israel. Lord, marry them to this land - today (Isaiah 62:4-5)!

    • May Interior Minister Silvan Shalom to keep his word and liberalize the whole process of getting one's Israeli citizenship.

    • Aid Israel's economy.

    • Provide more affordable housing.

    • Thank You for settling Your people in the land, never to be uprooted again (Amos 9:14-15).
