1. To begin, we read the following verses from this week's prophetic portion:

    • How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, making peace heard; who brings good news, making salvation heard; who says to Zion, Your God reigns! …Your watchmen shall lift up… the voice together; they sing aloud, for they shall see eye to eye, when YHWH shall bring again [or 'return to'] Zion. Break out, sing together, waste places of Jerusalem; for YHWH has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem. YHWH has bared His holy arm in the eyes of all the gentiles; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

      Isaiah 52:7-10

    • Hallelujah! Our God, the God of Israel, reigns (Psalm 29:10)!

    • YHWH has prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom rules over all.

      Psalms 103:19

    • We bless You for Your amazing grace and faithfulness which carries us through (Malachi 3:6).

    • I will bless YHWH at all times; His praise always shall be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in YHWH; the humble shall hear and be glad.

      Psalms 34:1-2

    • We are so grateful to be able to pray knowing that there are no emergencies in heaven. Nothing takes You by surprise (Isaiah 46:10).

  2. We continue carry a burden from God to intercede about the US Congress' response to the 'more -evil-each-day' nuclear deal that the world powers and Iran agreed to. The latest expose is that part of the secret agreements between Iran and the UN's nuclear watchdog group, the IAEA, includes allowing Iran to inspect their suspicious sites - by themselves! Thus the fox is guarding the hen house.

    • Lord, we declare before You that this deal with Iran is the epitome of evil appeased.

    • Therefore hear YHWH's Word, you scornful people who rule the P5+1 nations. Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, an agreement with hell; so when the overwhelming scourge passes through, it shall not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and hid ourselves under falsehood, yet thus says the Lord YHWH…I will lay judgment to the line, righteousness to the plummet; hail shall sweep away your refuge of lies, and waters shall overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death shall be wiped out, and your agreement with hell shall not stand…

      Isaiah 28:14-18a paraphrased

    • Abba, do whatever it takes to wake up more members of the US Congress to vote against this deal.

    • We thank You for the Democratic Senators and Representatives who have said they will vote no.

    • Abba, block all spirits of manipulation working through Obama that make Democratic politicians fall in line with this super bad deal.

    • Press more non-Jewish members of Congress to take a stance against this 'agreement with hell'.

    • Awaken the conscience of many Congressmen to see how dangerous this deal is to America.

    • Concerning America, YHWH, I have heard Your report; I am afraid. YHWH, give new life to Your work…in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. (Habakkuk 3:2)

    • Help the American Church to perceive the deception being fostered upon their nation by the Obama administration and cause them to respond both in prayer and in action.

    • Lord, You hear the chants of 'Death to Israel' coming out of the current Iranian regime. As You have done in the past, so again today, protect Your people - for Your holy name's sake (Psalm 115:1-3).

    • Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of YHWH, Maker of heaven and earth.

      Psalms 124:7-8

    • Uncover all the deepest secrets of the Iranian nuclear program (Psalm 139:11-12).

    • Protect all of Israel's spies and collaborators in Iran.

    • Harden the Ayatollah's heart and cause Iran itself to reject this deal (Psalm 129:5).

  3. Yesterday several rockets from Syria were fired into Israel. The IDF's responded strongly, targeting a number of sites. Defense Minister Ya'alon said this was instigated by Iran and warned that we will see more of this in the near future - especially as Iran is being given a $150 billion boost by signing the P5+1 deal. Does anyone really believe that the current Iranian Shiite fanatical regime will use that money for their people - for schools, hospitals, roads? Neither do most Israelis!

    • Thank You for Israel responding quickly and strongly.

    • Make Israel's Air Force, Navy and Army to be all they need to be at this point in time (Isaiah 41:14-16).

    • Aid the government to be proactive and even to pre-empt when needed.

    • Block all political correctness from interfering with the protection of this nation.

    • The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in YHWH shall be safe.

      Proverbs 29:25

    • We ask protection, strength, and courage to lead this people for Prime Minster Bibi Netanyahu.

    • Thank You for raising him up for just a time like this.

    • Continue to work in him to be all You created him to be. Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. (Psalms 80:17)

    • Lord, You promised to guard over this nation. We trust You to do that. …He who scattered Israel will gather him and guard him, as a shepherd guards his flock. (Jeremiah 31:10)

    • God, please prevent any successful kidnapping attempt.

    • Keep the soldiers alert and quick to respond to all attacks.

    • Enable all Messianic believing soldiers to have an answer for the hope within them (1 Peter 3:15).

    • Lord, we ask for a host of angels to be covering this nation and people from all demonic attacks.

    • We are so grateful that the Golan Heights is still part of Israel - and was not traded to Syria for 'peace'.

  4. Just west of Syria, Israel faces off with Hizbullah in Lebanon. This deadly terrorist organization has more missiles in their current arsenal than all of Europe's armies combined! They are a much greater threat to Israel than Hamas or any other group at this time.

    • Abba, protect all of Israel's intelligence resources in Lebanon. Provide them with Rahabs (Joshua 2:4).

    • Enable them to obtain actionable intelligence - and to get it to the right people in the right time.

    • Impart to the government concerning Hizbullah all that we have asked above - courage, an ability to do what needs to be done while rejecting political correctness, and strength to make the right decisions.

    • Remind Israel's leaders that a government's top priority is the protection of its citizens (Romans 13:3-4).

    • Release all Israel needs to defeat its many enemies - finances, new weapons systems, manpower, and most importantly, a faith in You - the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exodus 3:15; Matthew 22:32).

    • Give Israeli scientists a breakthrough in developing the Iron Beam laser weapon system, tunnel detection devices, and other weaponry they are working on in secret.

    • As You have done in times past, send spirits to deceive both Hizbullah and Iran's leadership into making major errors in strategy and tactics (1 Kings 22:19-23).

    • Use the horrific Syrian conflict to weaken and divide Hizbullah. Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongue; for I have seen violence and strife in the city. (Psalms 55:9)

    • Use the next war with Hizbullah to set both Israelis and Lebanese free of these wicked people.

    • You said, if we pray, You would respond by protecting Israel's northern borders (Joel 2:17-21). Amen!

  5. Israel's very liberal Supreme Court is the most interventionist court in the West. It grieves us to have these non-elected officials constantly overturning the will of the elected officials in the Knesset. Especially now, as Israelis have elected a more right-wing, conservative government, the 'Supremes' are outdoing themselves. Israel struggles between being a Jewish State and a democracy, and at times, these two ideologies conflict. Only God can straighten out this conundrum. Remember, regardless of what you or anyone else thinks, true justice is what The Supreme Judge says it is.

    • Lord, we look to Your Word to determine what is right and what is wrong. To the Law and to the testimony: If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them. (Isaiah 8:20)

    • This week's Torah portion starts with these verses: You shall appoint judges and officers for yourself in all your gates which YHWH your God gives you…They shall judge the people with righteous judgment …You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which YHWH your God gives you. (Deuteronomy 16:18, 20)

    • While we know that a judge who is a Messianic Jew would never be appointed on the Supreme Court - we also know that You can save those who already are on it (John 19:38-39).

    • Abba, watch over Your promise for this nation: I will restore your judges as at first, your counselors as at the beginning; after you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. (Isaiah 1:26)

    • Bless Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked as she attempts to change the way judges are appointed.

    • Lord, even the current 'Supremes' are not beyond Your influence, so move upon them. There are many purposes in a man's heart, but the counsel of YHWH shall stand. (Proverbs 19:21; cp. 21:1)

  6. The rise of anti-Semitism has led to an increase in aliyah - the return of Jews from exile to Israel. This was prophesied in Jeremiah 16:16 and it is being fulfilled, at least in part, today. Anti-Semitism is a major spiritual principality that will most likely remain until the Lord Yeshua returns and deals with it. And even then, there are indications that it raises its ugly head again when Satan is released for that brief time span at the end of the millennium (Revelation 20:7-9). We should pray against it having any impact at all in Messiah's Body. Yet to ask God to defeat it in our nations or cities needs should be done only as He specifically leads one to do it. Still, to ask God to use this which He has released to chase His people home - now that is an idea whose time has come!

    • In those days, and at that time, says YHWH, the sons of Israel shall come, they and the sons of Judah together, going and weeping. They shall go and seek YHWH their God. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces there, saying, Come and let us join ourselves to YHWH in an everlasting covenant never to be forgotten.

      Jeremiah 50:4-5

    • Lord, thank You for the increase in aliyah - especially from France and Ukraine.

    • Abba, what will it take to wake up the Jews in America to see the handwriting on the wall? Whatever it is, we ask that with as much mercy as possible, You allow it to happen.

    • Do not allow American Jews to ignore the anti-Semitic themes that have been thrown into much of what Obama and Kerry have been saying in defense of this Iranian deal.

    • Cause Your Body - especially in the West - to be more pro-active in praying for and speaking to their Jewish neighbors about coming home.

    • Thus says the Lord YHWH, Behold, I will lift up My hand to the gentiles, and set up My banner to the people; and they shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

      Isaiah 49:22; cp. 60:9

    • Father, preform a mighty miracle and release all of the Iranian Jewish community from its captivity.

    • Lord, speak to the Messianic Jews about returning to Zion. How shall we sing YHWH's song in a foreign land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth; if I do not prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy. (Psalms 137:4-6)

    • Help the government to make aliyah and klitah [the absorption of new immigrants] a top priority.

    • Open wide the doors here in Israel to receive the new immigrants with joy and blessings.

    • Hold the Minister of Interior, Silvan Shalom, to his promise to make the process of becoming a citizen much easier (Isaiah 62:10).

    • May the new immigrants send out a good report from the land - that even through there are still giants here, this is where the Jewish people are supposed to be.

    • And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. And the gentiles shall know that I am YHWH…when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own land.

      Ezekiel 36:23-24
