  • Thank You, Lord that You are faithful. Thank You for Your undying love for Your people and for Your land.
  • Thank You for Your people in this land, that there is a living growing body of Messiah in Israel, that Jewish people are having their eyes opened to who their Messiah is and some are receiving Him.

  1. Israel's Salvation
  • Lord, we are looking forward to when You will lift the veil fully from the eyes of the Jewish people which has been and is preventing most from recognizing You.
  • Blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. Romans 11:25
  • Prepare the hearts of Your people to see clearly who You are.
  • We have heard for a long time that there are many rabbis who have secretly accepted Yeshua. When will it be Your time for them to reveal themselves? Let it be, Lord!
  • May Israel look to You for their salvation rather than putting their trust in governments or in the IDF or in religious leaders or practices. And so all Israel will be saved.  Romans 11:26

2. Body of Messiah - Next week the fourth "Christ at the Checkpoint" conference will be held in Bethlehem. These conferences spreading Replacement Theology and an anti-Israel attitude in the evangelical churches have caused damage both inside and outside of Israel.

  • Give clarity and discernment to all who come to know You. May they hold fast to the truth as revealed in Your word.
  • Raise up voices to speak out for the truth.
  • And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
  • Raise up more good shepherds to care for these "sheep".

Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!… I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking. Jeremiah 23:1-4

3. B.D.S. - The "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions" movement is gathering force around the world. We are grateful to hear of opposition to some of the events being held to promote this evil agenda of economic opposition to Israel. Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein has been in the UK this week speaking with senior ministers about BDS.

  • Thank You for the cancellation or opposition to events in Germany, Austria and Canada which we have heard about this week.
  • Please bless all those who are willing to take a stand against these events.
  • I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.  Genesis 12:3
  • Make it clear to Israel's enemies that it is You who are fulfilling this word, that You always meant it and You still mean it.
  • Are You going to break up the European Union in judgment for its ongoing anti-Israel attitude and particularly the ruling regarding labelling of Israeli goods produced in Judea and Samaria?
  • Thank You for using Yuli Edelstein to proclaim truth. Anoint and embolden him and raise up many clear voices for Israel in the UK Parliament.

4. Aliyah - I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. (Jeremiah 23:3)

  • Lord, remove all the obstacles which are standing in the way of Your people coming home to Your land. Help, Lord, with the provision of finances, with learning the Hebrew language, providing potential immigrants with correct information so they can prepare properly,
  • Cut through the bureaucratic obstacles which have prevented new immigrant doctors from having their credentials recognized in the Israel health care system.
  • Use the lack of leadership shown in the US presidential elections to drive many American Jews to make Aliyah.
  • Drive away the fear of the unknown and put a fresh spirit of adventure on Your people.
  • Let whole congregations decide to make Aliyah together.
  • Prepare Israel for a huge wave of Aliyah. Change the negative attitudes opposed to immigrants. Let incentives be created for making Aliyah. Let many new homes be built. Cause Aliyah to be among the highest priorities for government spending.
  • Remove those in government and in the civil service who oppose Aliyah.
  • For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.  Ezekiel 36:24-25
  • Thank You for Your patience and graciousness, bringing Your people home in unbelief.

5. Prime Minister Netanyahu - Binyamin Netanyahu is due to visit the USA later this month in order to complete negotiations on the latest package of American military aid to Israel. As Obama seeks to seal his own political legacy while preparing to leave office next January there is more potential for conflict.

  • Lord give Netanyahu anointing and wisdom. May he know Your word for the moment and be willing to speak it.
  • Guard Netanyahu against going to America with a beggarly spirit, cap in hand.
  • Protect him also from any manipulation by the American administration.
  • Despite the different sizes and budgets of their nations, make it clear to America that Netanyahu as Prime Minister of Israel comes in the name of the God of Israel. (see 1 Samuel 17:45)
  • Protect Netanyahu and his family in body, mind and spirit.
  • Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself. (Psalm 80:17) - Binyamin means "son of the right hand".

6. Internal Security - The internal troubles continue, also in the "hot spots" we prayed into last week. Let's continue to intercede for God to intervene.

  • Please Lord bring Your healing to the nation in the wake of these stabbings, shootings and car rammings. Especially heal the land around Jerusalem's Damascus Gate, Kfar Etzion Junction, Tapuach Junction and the other terrorism hot spots.
  • Thank You that two soldiers who had to abandon their burning vehicle in a riot near Jerusalem this week were quickly and efficiently rescued.
  • Give wisdom to government, IDF and Police to know if there's a new strategy they need to adopt in dealing with this violence.
  • Give wisdom to Your intercessors to know how we should pray into this situation and if there's something new we need to understand about it.
  • What are You saying to Israel today?

7. International Security - with a so-called ceasefire in Syria, it seems that the dangers have become even more intense as various nations position themselves and make threats against one another - Russia, USA, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, etc. Israel needs to be wise in handling relationships with all the interested parties.

  • But the Lord your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies. 2 Kings 17:39
  • Give Israel's leaders the wisdom to know what to do and say and what not to do and say especially with regard to Russia.
  • A recent study ranked Israel as the world's eighth most powerful nation. http://www.algemeiner.com/2016/01/21/new-study-ranks-israel-worlds-8th-most-powerful-country/ If this is so, help Israel to understand why it is so and protect us from pride and putting trust in our military or other strengths.
  • Thank You that the God of Israel is with us.
  • Thank You that You set Your angels in position around our borders to protect Your land.
  • Iran has recently held elections which are crucial to the eventual appointment of a successor to supreme ruler Ayatollah Khamenei. Lord, hold back Iran from its evil plans!
