1. This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).
    • Bless You for being so faithful to Your Word and to Your Promises (Jeremiah 1:12).
    • Thank You for revealing to us that You do not change (Malachi 3:6).
    • We trust in Your name – Your essential nature – and rejoice in Your goodness to us (Proverbs 18:10).

    • Thus says YHWH, who gives the sun for a light by day and the laws of the moon and stars for a light by night…if those ordinances depart from Me…the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever…If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be searched out, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done… Jeremiah 31:35-37

    • YHWH brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He breaks the plots of the people. The counsel of YHWH stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations. Psalms 33:10-11); "May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Matthew 6:10
  2. Issues in today's world are pressing Israel to be that nation that dwells alone, not counted as any other nation (Numbers 23:9b). Yet these issues – like anti-Semitism and the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement [BDS] – are from the pit of hell, demonically evil in intent and result. The UN, especially its misnamed Human Rights Commission, is at the forefront of isolating Israel. Anti-Semitism has been turned from persecution of the individual Jew to persecution of the collective Jew – the Jewish State of Israel. Yet Israel's God and King is still on the throne (Psalm 103:19).
    • God, as the UNHRC has just published a list of businesses operating out of the "occupied territories" – Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem and the Golan – so that they can be boycotted, we ask that You boycott and dry up the funds of the UNHRC, in line with the spiritual principle expressed in Galatians 6:7).
    • This blacklisting of Israeli companies is an attempt to curse Israel being resettled in Your land. Lord, please respond in a way in which the nations know that they have touched something very precious in Your sight (Psalm 115:1-3; Ezekiel 36:21-28; Zechariah 2:8a).
    • Lord, where are the voices of Palestinians whose jobs are being threatened by this move? Raise up many to stand with Israelis whose dealings with them is better than what they receive from their own people.
    • Abba, the UN has become a tool of anti-God forces today. Deal with this modern tower of Babel, and cause such confusion that all their deliberations against You and Your nation Israel become null and void.
    • Destroy, YHWH, and divide their tongues… Psalms 55:9a
    • Let them all be ashamed and confounded who hate Zion. Psalms 129:5
    • Use Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon to be a voice of warning in the midst of the UN beast.
    • Give Israel's leaders wisdom as to whether they should even remain as a UN member (Revelation 18:4).
    • We thank You that the US stood against this move. Yet where were the other Western democracies?

Many churches are in favor of, and encourage, this anti-God BDS movement, while too many are just ignorant of what is at stake in the restoration of Israel in preparation for the return of Messiah Yeshua. Deception has invaded much of the Church, and deception breeds deception. Being deceived about Israel's place in God's plan leaves believers open to an invasion of end-time demonic doctrines, false signs and wonders, and false prophets. So we prayed for the Body of Messiah.
    • Lord, You said You would build Your church and it would invade Satan's domains (Matthew 16:18). Yet today we see just the opposite in many places. Arise, God! Scatter Your enemies (Psalm 68:1)!
    • Abba, anoint believers to recognize the true prophetic voices in this day – and to reject all false ones.
    • Take heed that no man deceive you. For many will come in My name, saying, I am Messiah, and will deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5; cp. vs. 11, 24-25
    • Deal with all denominations that are trying to boycott Israel. May Your people boycott them!
    • Let many individual churches leave these deceived denominations.
    • May Your blessing rest on all congregations that are blessing Israel (Genesis 12:3a; Numbers 23:9b).
    • Turn this blacklisting of Israeli companies into a blessing as huge numbers of believers seek out the very products to buy that the UN and these denominations want to see boycotted (Deuteronomy 23:5).
    • Wake up Your children to what is really being said from the pulpits. Wake up Your people with verses like this: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being priest to Me. Since you have forgotten the Law [teachings] of your God, I will also forget your sons, even I. Hosea 4:6)
    • Remove ignorance from the elders, so that what they teach is in line with Your Word, and will be able to say with the Apostle Paul, Therefore I testify to you on this day that I am pure from the blood of all, for I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God. Acts 20:26-27)
    • Speak clearly to the elders of the absolute need of taking a stand with truth – Your Word (John 17:17) – regardless of the consequences, whether a loss of tax breaks, the very real possibility of causing division, the loss of face and even real persecution for being biblically correct and not politically correct.
  4. The current Israeli government coalition is being held together by God's grace alone. It has only a one seat majority and one of its parties' leaders – Aryeh Deri of Shas – is being investigated on corruption charges again. We asked for the truth to prevail and for mercy on this government.
    • Lord, we stand before You in intercession for the truth to not fall in the streets (Isaiah 59:15-16).
    • Reveal the truth and if guilty, remove Deri once again from his government position.
    • Impart great wisdom to Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to know how to steer through the minefield that this current coalition too often prepares for him (Proverbs 21:1).
    • Shut all mouths both inside and outside of the government and in the media who hate Netanyahu and use every opportunity to bring him and this government down (Psalm 109:1-3).
    • Rearrange this current government in line with Your will and purposes (Daniel 2:21; 4:25b; 5:21b).
    • Abba, we hold before You Your promise in Isaiah 1:26: I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as at the beginning; afterwards you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
    • Remove from the Israeli parliament those who hate Zion – and want to see it replaced by "Palestine".
    • Wake up more Israeli Arabs to recognize that most of their representatives are more interested in a Palestine that in the needs of Israeli Arabs. May they vote them out in the next election.
  5. The killing of a subdued Palestinian terrorist in Hebron by an IDF soldier is still making huge waves – both inside and outside of Israel. Yet what is often lost is that the Palestinian who was killed was not some innocent bystander – but a terrorist who had just tried to kill an IDF soldier.
    • Lord, again we want the whole truth to come out quickly. Please help the investigators.
    • If the soldier did something that is punishable, may Your be justice applied speedily (Ecclesiastes 8:11).
    • Does God pervert judgment? Or does the Almighty pervert justice? …Surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice. Job 8:3; 34:12
    • May justice both be done and be seen to be done.
    • To do justice and judgment is more pleasing to YHWH than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3
    • We are amazed that with all of the terrorism endured by Israelis, an action like this killing of a terrorist already on the ground is an exception to the norm, and for that we bless and thank You (Psalm 145:1).
    • Do not allow ungodly passions to rule over Israelis.
    • These are the things that you shall do. Each man will speak the truth to his neighbor. Also, judge with truth and justice to have peace in your gates. Zechariah 8:16
    • Aid the IDF to continue to refine its rules of engagement so that they line up with Your righteous decrees and not man's (Psalm 5:8).
    • We thank You that PM Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ya'alon and the IDF's Chief of Staff Eisenkot are standing as a three-fold cord, upholding righteousness as the foundation for Israel's armed forces (Psalm 99:4; Proverbs 14:34; 16:12).
    • Hedge in the media from using this incident to bring further shame on Israel, thus profaning Your name.
    • Lord, uncover the truth of how the radical left-wing NGO B'Tselem, just happened to have a person be there at the right time in the right place to video tape this incident (Psalm 139:11-12).
    • Yeshua, Captain of the heavenly hosts, forbid that this ties the hands of other IDF soldiers so that they hesitate to deal with all necessary force to stop terrorists.
  6. The 2016 Nuclear Security Summit is being held in Washington, DC, with the threat of North Korea and ISIS on the agenda. But the most dangerous nuclear threat in the world today is apparently not seen as such – an Iranian Shi'ite nuclear weapon. Thankfully, Israel has not lost sight of this very clear and present danger and neither should we intercessors.
    • Lord, when Iran recently tested nuclear capable missiles with Hebrew writing on them, basically saying, "Israel must be annihilated", the world was silent. Abba, may that show our leaders that the only One we can rely on is You – and hallelujah – that You are more than enough. They gather themselves against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. But YHWH is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.Psalms 94:21-22)
    • Give wisdom to Israeli leaders as to what Israel needs to do and not to do (Proverbs 21:30-31).
    • If Israel needs to pre-empt this very real threat, open up all doors necessary to do a complete job.
    • If Israel should not pre-empt, cancel all plans that are being made to do that.
    • Show Israel its real allies in this battle – and may the truth that it is not the West under its current leaders be a factor that is included in all its battle plans.
    • According to Jeremiah 49:38a, we thank You for setting Your throne in Elam [Iran] today and saving multitudes of Iranians.
    • Show our Iranian brothers and sister the reality of Your curse upon their nation as a response to their leaders continually cursing Your land and people (Genesis 12:3a)
    • Raise them up to stand in the gap in intercession for both Iran and Israel (Ezekiel 22:30).
    • We also ask for Jeremiah 49:38b be fulfilled. Lord, bring down the king and the princes, the Ayatollah and all the radical Shi'ite ministers.
    • Remove their scepter of authority. Humble them before You (Daniel 5:21).
    • Prepare even now, the next generation of Iranian leaders who will turn from their anti-Zionistic policies and become a true ally of Israel again.
  7. Aliyah, the return of the Jews from exile to Israel, is always a prayer burden on our hearts – as it is one of the central things God is doing on planet earth today to prepare for His Son's soon return. Not only that, but He clearly states in Isaiah 43:5-7, that aliyah is specifically for His glory.
    • According to Ezekiel 39:27-29, we know there is a time coming when not one Jew will be left in the nations. Lord, watch over this word and bring it to fulfillment – even in our days.
    • Abba, European Jews are seeing that they need to leave. Close all doors to them except for Israel.
    • May they see that today is the day of the hunters and they need to come home (Jeremiah 16:16).
    • You said that many will come back with their wealth (Isaiah 60:9). We ask that this would be applied to many of the Jews in America and the rest of the West. This year in Jerusalem (Psalm 137:5-6; 147:2)!
    • Bring home all of the Jews from Ethiopia, Yemen, Iran, India, China and from Latin America.
    • Help Jewish parents to put their children's and grandchildren's future before their own comfort, to take a leap of faith and return home.
    • Provide Israel and Israelis with all that is needed to receive and settle new immigrants into this society.
    • Lord Yeshua, show the Church their responsibility in aiding this restoration (Isaiah 49:22; 60:4-6).
