1. We began by reading through Psalm 125:1-5.

    • They that trust in YHWH will be like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains are all around Jerusalem, so YHWH is all around His people from this time and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity. YHWH, do good to the good, and to the upright in heart. And those who turn aside to their crooked ways, YHWH shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.

    • Thank You for surrounding us with Your presence – whether we sense it or not.

    • Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

      Psalms 121:4

      Amen!

    • We bless You that You are watching over Your Word to do it (Jeremiah 1:12).

    • Although Your ways are not our ways, by Your grace, we trust in You (Isaiah 55:8).

    • Hallelujah! Nothing takes You by surprise – for You live outside of time (Acts 15:18).

    • Thank You for giving us Your Word to guide us (Psalm 119:9, 105).

    • Bless YHWH, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.

  2. Next Tuesday America will hold its main elections. As we have stated many times, the results of the elections will have global implications – and will definitely impact Israel.

    • Lord Yeshua, have mercy on America (Psalm 27:7).

    • Lord, impress upon the American Church to stand in the gap for their homeland (Ezekiel 22:30).

    • Reveal to them their God-given responsibility to watch and pray for their nation (1st Timothy 2:1-3).

    • Show them the importance of America's relationship to Israel and then let them vote accordingly. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you [Israel –when God is restoring His nation to His land] will perish. Yes, those nations will be completely wasted. (Isaiah 60:12)

    • By Your divine sovereignty Abba, overrule the election results – for the president and all the other contested seats in the US Congress and in the individual states (Psalm 103:19).

  3. We then prayed for Israel's government's response to the American election results.

    • We ask Lord, for You to give divine wisdom and clarity to Israel's leaders in the face of whatever the American election results turn out to be (Proverbs 16:1).

    • Especially give PM Bibi Netanyahu wisdom to know what to say and what to not say (Proverbs 21:1).

    • Continue to impress on Netanyahu to speak truth regardless of the costs (Proverbs 8:7; Zechariah 8:16).

    • Place that same spirit that was on the sons of Issachar on Israel's current leaders, so that they have an understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do (1 Chronicles 12:32).

    • Surround Netanyahu with counselors who are profitable for Your kingdom purposes (Proverbs 15:22).

    • Remove all unprofitable counselors far from him (Matthew 25:30).

    • Prepare the Israeli Foreign Ministry on how to deal with the next US President.

    • Give to Israel's US ambassador, Ron Dermer, an anointing to respond to all questions that will be placed before him – whether in private, or via the media.

  4. Israel has probably the most interventionist Supreme Court in the world. These unelected judges often overturn government passed laws – or give opinions that are not in line with God's will. Since they – as opposed to let's say the American Supreme Court – appoint their own successors, the Supreme Court in Israel has become very liberal and left leaning. Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked is trying to correct this bad situation – but is getting blasted by both the Court and most of the media and government opposition.

    • Lord, we remind You of Your promise: I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as at the beginning; afterwards you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. (Isaiah 1:26)

    • Give Israel judges who uphold and interpret the law, and not those who think they must make it as well.

    • Raise up in Israel, judges who will judge righteous judgments (Deuteronomy 16:18).

    • Enable Shaked to have the final say in how some Supreme Court judges should be appointed.

    • Hedge in the Supreme Court from going way beyond their legislative mandate.

  5. A couple Supreme Court decisions are making real problems for Netanyahu and the current government.

    1. Bibi has numerous governmental portfolios under his mantle. The Court said that while this is legitimate, they do not like the way it looks and told him to assign others to these roles by Dec. 17th.

      • Lord, if this is Your will, then make it happen quickly.

      • Yet prevent the Supreme Court from pressing Bibi into doing things that are not in Your will.

      • Raise up the right people for each of these positions (Deuteronomy 1:13).

      • Abba, if now is the time for Israel to have a Foreign Minister – as opposed to Netanyahu holding on to that positon - please make sure the correct person is assigned to this very critical role.

      • Continue to impart to Netanyahu all he needs to do all You have called him for (Psalm 80:17).

    2. Amona is a settlement in Samaria of around 200 families that has been there for around 20 years. But recently some Palestinians have claimed that this is their land, so the Supreme Court has ordered the government to destroy this settlement and all the homes – by Dec. 25th. The government has asked for a seven-month delay to come up with a solution that is acceptable to those who live there.

      • Since You told us that You would by Your covenant-love settle us in Samaria (Jeremiah 31:3-5), we plead with You to prevent the destruction of this community.

      • Move upon the Court to approve this asked-for extension of seven months (Psalm 33:10-11).

      • Pour out Your fear upon the judges to make righteous decisions (Proverbs 1:7).

      • Send wisdom from on high to the government to come up with a godly solution (2 Chronicles 1:10).

      • Forbid that Amona goes the way of Gaza – as many of the uprooted Jewish families are still not settled in permanent housing.

      • Lord, move upon the authorities to quickly correct this gross injustice we just mentioned, and find or build homes for these uprooted ex-Gazan Jewish families (Psalm 147:2).

      • If the settlers in Amona need to leave, please prevent Jew-against-Jew violence (Matthew 26:52).

  6. Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, was the 99th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration in which the British government looked with favor on the establishment of a Jewish homeland in what was then called "Palestine". This declaration is now part of international law and is one of the modern foundations for the State of Israel's existence. Yet the Palestinians have begun a year-long campaign to get the British to apologize for this "injustice". Seeing how weak and appeasing the West has become to both Palestinians and to Islam, this demonic campaign just might bear fruit. Along with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, this is further proof that the Palestinians and their supporters do not want their own state – but are seeking the destruction of the Jewish State – Israel.

    • Lord, how close are we to Zechariah 12 coming to pass? Are we seeing the beginnings of it today?

    • Lord, the government is ultimately upon Your shoulders (Isaiah 9:6-7). So we plead with You to impart to those whom You have placed in responsible positions in Israel Your wisdom on how to fight this.

    • May Netanyahu accept and use in this fight the Levy Commission report which proved the settling of all Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem by Israel is legitimate according to international law.

    • We bless You that Israel's true rights to this land go back 3,500 years to Father Abraham. YHWH appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your seed. (Genesis 12:7a, plus over 200 more times in the Hebrew scriptures. Also, see Romans 15:8!)

    • Move upon Israeli government and other representatives to not be ashamed to use the Bible to press home Israel's eternal rights to possess its possessions (Amos 9:14-15; Obadiah 17).

    • We know that British PM May has a genuine care for Israel and the Jewish people. Do not allow her or anyone else in her government to stab Israel in the back by submitting to this unjust demand.

    • May the spirit of the British Bulldog rise up against this Palestinian pressure and just say "No!"

    • Lord Yeshua, prevent any part of the British Church from saying "sorry" to these lying demands.

    • Help the British Church see how dangerous this can be to their nation if it does submit (Zechariah 12:9).

    • Continue to use Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon to reveal the fallacy of this demand and the legality of the Balfour Declaration.

  7. After the US elections, there are hints that US President Obama wants to press Israel into a dangerous corner by passing a UN Security Council Resolution – or at least not vetoing one, like a possible French resolution – setting the parameters for the final outcome of an Israeli-Palestinian "peace" deal. If Trump is elected, this is even more of a possibility, because if Clinton wins she will likely follow Obama's lead in this area. We prayed beyond our faith, but in the realm of how politics is being played out in the world today, and asked God to use Putin and Russia to veto any resolution like this. Some of us even prayed for Russia and China to do it. Still, if Obama does this, it will be very disastrous for America and for all those who vote yes.

    • For, behold, in those days…when I will bring again the exiles of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations and bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will fight with them there for My people and for My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

      Joel 3:1-2

    • Abba, please use whoever to block any anti-Israel resolution at the UN Security Council – unless this is absolutely the time when all nations do come against Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:2-3).

    • If this is that time, then show us so that we will not be found praying against Your will (Amos 3:7).

    • Lord, You can move on Putin to veto any Obama or French resolution, and we ask that You would do just that (Proverbs 16:9; 21:1).

    • Lord, have mercy on Israel and America by strongly hedging in Obama from worsening his relationship with Israel during his last two months in office.

  8. If we are entering into the time of Zechariah 12, then that means we are also entering into the time of all Israel being saved: I will pour on the house of David, and on the people of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications, and they shall look unto Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be bitter over Him, as the bitterness over the first-born. (Zechariah 12:10) So we prayed that salvation through Messiah Yeshua would be granted to many in Israel at this time.

    • For thus says YHWH, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations. Cry out, give praise and say, O YHWH, save Your people, the remnant of Israel.

      Jeremiah 31:7

    • Lord Yeshua, continue to use Your disciples – both Jewish and gentile – to provoke Your people Israel to jealousy (Romans 11:11-15).

    • We are so amazed at the openness of so many Israelis to receive us Messianic Jewish Israelis as friends, fellow citizens, and as Jews. We thank You for moving in this way.

    • Yeshua, Lord, You said, He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. (Matthew 10:40; cp. John 13:20) Therefore, look with great favor on Israelis who have received us, both Messianic Jew and Christian – knowing in Whom we believe – and open their eyes to the truth of who You are.

    • Father, sprinkle clean water on all the settlers in Judea and Samaria – especially those living such unsettled lives in Amona (Ezekiel 36:25-27).
