Praise Him all creatures here below.
-
I will lift You up, my God, O King; and I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You; and I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised; and there is no searching out His greatness. One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.
Psalms 145:1-4 -
We bless You that both You and Your Word are unchangeable (Psalm 119:89; Malachi 3:6).
-
You are most worthy to be praised above all else (Revelation 4:11; 5:12-13).
-
We know that You are totally righteous and just in all Your ways (Psalm 67:4; 82:8; 96:13).
-
Messiah Yeshua, we confess that You are Lord of all (Acts 10:36), and that You have all authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18) – to the glory of God our Father (Philippians 2:11).
-
Thank You that You are watching over Your Word to preform it (Isaiah 55:11; Jeremiah 1:12).

Israel is in the midst of battling huge fires in various parts of the country. Apparently, many were started as a type of "eco-terrorism" against Israel and its citizens. The bad news is that successful terror attacks are often copycatted. The good news is that God is still on His throne (Psalm 103:19). Yet we desperately need for Him to intervene.
-
Abba, please deal in Your mercy with those who have lost homes and have needed to evacuate cities.
-
Cause many of those who are out of homes to call out to You (Psalm 50:15).
-
We are so grateful that up to this point, there have been no deaths.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame kindle on you, for I am YHWH your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
(Isaiah 43:2b-3a) -
We are very thankful for all the nations who have sent Israel help to fight the fires (Galatians 6:7).
-
Watch over and protect the people who are on the frontlines fighting the flames.
-
Aid Israel's security forces to find the perpetrators and to deal quickly and harshly with them.
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
(Ecclesiastes 8:11) -
Give wisdom to all Israeli security forces as they now have something else to be concerned about.
-
Please prevent all attempts at copycatting these attacks – whether in Israel or in the nations.
-
Abba, please give to Israel's spokespersons wisdom on how to talk about this situation so as not to stir up ideas of further terror attacks in the minds of Israel's enemies.
-
Israel is desperate for rain, so we ask You Lord, to open up the windows of heaven and let the rain pour forth to quench these fires and soak this very dry land (Psalm 68:9).
-
-
A month from today, the Samarian settlement of Amona is supposed to be destroyed. We are not seeing much progress to have this settled in a godly way – that is to have them remain where they are.
-
Lord, we remind You that they are in Samaria because of Your covenant love towards Israel:
I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness [chesed – covenant-love] I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel… You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
(Jeremiah 31:3b-5) -
This is a lose-lose situation. Please intervene and turn this into a victory for Your called (Romans 8:28).
-
Speak Your godly solution to the government and the Supreme Court.
-
Please watch over Your Word:
I will plant them on their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, says YHWH your God.
(Amos 9:15) -
Lord, may the settlers in Amona cry out to You (Psalm 86:7; Zechariah 13:9).
-
Use Jerusalem Mayor Barkat's argument that since illegally built Arab homes in his city are not allowed to be destroyed by the same Supreme Court that is now mandating Jewish homes to be destroyed, to show these judges the injustice of their judgment (Deuteronomy 16:18).
-
If Amona cannot be saved, we plead with You to prevent any violent confrontation between the settlers and the police.
-
Lord, please hedge in the media from contributing to the problem with their liberal, left-wing opinions.
-
-
The latest investigation of possible corruption in Israel has to do with an Israeli deal to buy three more submarines from Germany. Initially Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was a possible guilty participant – but he has been miraculously and quickly cleared. For that we thank God as it is an answer to prayer. Still, this whole scenario needs more prayer.
-
Lord, please have the truth revealed quickly (Daniel 2:22).
-
If there is no real foundation for these charges, then let this be resolved with all due speed.
-
May the impact of whatever is found be minimal on the current government.
-
Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a shame to any people.
Proverbs 14:34 -
Use this adversity to form a greater sense of unity within Netanyahu's coalition.
-
Forbid that this hinders the purchase of these much needed submarines.
-
If possible, quicken the delivery date for Israel to receive them.
-
Abba, we are concerned with former Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, who was such a support for the prime minister – but now seems to attack him with every chance he gets. Heal him of his internal wounds that seem to us to be magnified way beyond all true hurts.
A brother offended is like a strong city; and their disagreements are like the bars of a fortress.
(Proverbs 18:19) -
Lord, change the way the media's headlines are written, as many present Netanyahu in a bad light, when the rest of the story shows that this is not true.
-
-
The Obama to Trump transition period is fraught with dangers for Israel. Whether it is Obama doing something to punish Netanyahu or Trump choosing someone in his cabinet that is anti-Israel – this is a period we must cover in intercession. The Israeli government's current and future relationship with the Trump administration also needs prayer.
-
Lord, please muzzle all Israeli politicians who are saying things that presuppose the future relationship with the Trump administration and put both Netanyahu and Trump in a hard spot.
-
Give Netanyahu wisdom to exercise coalition disciple in this area (1 Kings 3:9).
-
Do not allow Israel's leaders to be so relieved that Clinton lost – or that Obama will soon be gone – that they only see Trump's administration through rose-colored glasses as opposed to seeing the real picture.
-
Raise up leaders like the sons of Zadok, who can
teach [God's] people to discern between the holy and common, and between the unclean and the clean.
(Ezekiel 44:23) -
As much as possible, may the relationships between these governments be done in secret – away from the media both in Israel and in America.
-
Use Israel's US Ambassador Ron Dermer to report what is really going on in this American transition.
-
Use Israel's UN Ambassador Dany Danon to also be a source of truth for Israel's government's ears.
-
When they meet, let Netanyahu speak truth to Trump – as he so often did with Obama (Proverbs 8:7).
-
Concerning the peace process, may Trump see that this is not just another business "deal" – but an issue that goes to the very heart of the prophetic process leading up to the return of the Lord Yeshua.
-
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her, how often would I have gathered your children together…and you would not! Behold, your house is left desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me from now on until you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord'.
Matthew 23:37-39

The situation in the areas surrounding Israel – especially to its north and northeast – is that of the world joining hands to defeat the Islamic State. Yet to do this the world is supporting Iran, Syria and Russia. For Israel, Iran and its global goals is much more existentially dangerous than any terror group – no matter how vicious they are. Iran is attempting, successfully at this time, to build a Shi'ite crescent running from Iran, through Iraq and Syria and ending on the Mediterranean Sea in Lebanon. This is what we need to pray against.
-
Abba, break this bow/crescent of modern Elam – Iran (Jeremiah 49:35).
-
As it is said of You,
Come, behold the works of YHWH, who makes ruins on the earth; who makes wars to cease to the ends of the earth; He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in two…
(Psalms 46:8-9a) -
Iran's leadership walks in arrogant pride, boasting against Your people. Give them the just rewards of this attitude:
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
(Proverbs 16:18) -
Lord, we ask for You to sent a spirit of division between Iran and Russia and Syria and Iraq.
-
One way we ask for You to do this by sending forth an increasing revelation of Messiah Yeshua unto salvation to multitudes of people in these nations (Luke 12:51; John 7:43).
-
Unless this is the beginning of that which is in Ezekiel 38-39, we ask You to break this alliance.
-
If this is that – please reveal to us how to pray (Amos 3:7).
-

During 2016, around 700 Jews will have returned to Israel from Brazil. There are still about 120,000 there and probably several millions more in the Spanish/Portuguese speaking world. Obadiah indicates that many of these Sephardim [Spanish speaking Jews] will settle in the Negev.
-
…the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the south.
Obadiah 1:20 -
We thank You for the 700 who have chosen to make aliyah this year. More, Lord.
-
Thus says YHWH of Hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west.
Zechariah 8:7 -
Help them to send a good report back to their families and communities from Zion (Proverbs 15:30).
-
Lord, release all of the Jews who still live in Spain and Portugal from whatever bondage is holding them to these nations (Deuteronomy 30:3).
-
For Your glory, move upon the Jews in all of the Central and South American nations (Isaiah 43:5-7).
-
Cause the younger generation to rise up and come home – and then have their parents follow.
-
Increase the aliyah from France and Germany.
-
Stir up the 70% of Jews who did not vote for Trump to return to Zion (Jeremiah 30:3).
-
Make the absorption process in Israel to become much smoother.
-
Remove all the stumbling blocks that are still in this land from the path of Your people (Isaiah 62:10).
-
-
The local Israeli Body of Messiah needs prayers for protection from all various winds of doctrine that fly through this nation. Everyone wants a piece of Jerusalem – and that means that the Body here is inundated with just about everything that is infecting the bodies in your nations – and more. Also, there is so much to do for the Lord here that the risk of putting our hands to uncommanded works – which is one of the enemy's ploys to wear down the saints (Daniel 7:25) – is ever present.
-
Lord Yeshua, first we want to truly thank and praise You that there is a growing Body here in Israel.
-
Impress on many in the Body to ask You for the gift of the discerning of spirits (1 Corinthians 12:10).
-
Also, help many to develop the fruit of discernment through knowing Your Word and Your voice.
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, even those who because of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
(Hebrews 5:14) -
Lord, please protect Your Body from spirits of presumption to touch things that are not of You.
-
Help us to discern between good works and God-works (Ephesians 2:10).
-
Help us all to test all things and prove all things (1 John 4:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:21).
-
Rid us of the love of money and warn us when it tries to overtake us (1 Timothy 6:10; Hebrews 13:5).
-
Enable us to be the light and salt for this nation that You are calling us to be (Matthew 5:13-16).
-
IFI's International Prayer Conference, Jerusalem is quickly approaching. Interestingly, Trump will be inaugurated during the conference. That is, at the same time – not here with us! Please pray for all who are called to be with us to register as soon as possible. Also, for those who are called to be elsewhere, to not register to be here. The leadership team would appreciate your prayers to hear from God what He wants us to preach – but more importantly – how He wants us to lead in corporate prayers.
Shabbat shalom and blessings from Jerusalem
