[As this Friday is a major feast in Israel, we did not have our early morning prayer meeting. These prayer burdens are from issues we prayed into during our mid-week prayer times.]

  1. The 7th day of Passover/Unleavened Bread is when tradition has the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea while Pharaoh and his army are drowned. The song that Israel sang on the other side of the sea, looking on their defeated enemies, contains much truth and much to praise God about.

    • I will sing unto YHWH, for He has triumphed gloriously, the horse and his rider has He thrown into the sea. YHWH is my strength and song; He is become my salvation; He is my God…my father's God, and I will exalt Him. YHWH is a Man of war: YHWH is His name.Ex. 15:1b-3
    • Your right hand, O YHWH, is become glorious in power…Ex. 15:6
    • Who is like unto You, YHWH among the gods; who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?Ex. 15:11
    • You in Your mercy led forth the people which You have redeemed; You guided them in Your strength to Your holy habitation…You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, YHWH, which You have made for Yourself to dwell in; in the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.Ex. 15:13, 17

    • As the song says: How great is our God; how great is His name. He's the greatest one, forever the same. He rolled back the waters of the mighty Red Sea, and He said 'I'll never leave you. Put your trust in Me'.

  2. Since we prayed much for God to reveal His Son to many of His people over Passover, it is only right that we thank Him in faith for doing just that.

    • Abba, You said that if we ask anything in Your will, You will hear and do it (1 John 5:14-15), and since praying for Israel's salvation is definitely Your will (Jer. 31:7) – we thank You for all of Your people who are now in the Kingdom of Your dear Son .

    • Giving thanks to the Father, who has made us able to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. For He has delivered us from under the authority of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son whom He loves.Col. 1:12-13

    • Lord Yeshua, bring these new babies into a biblical fellowship quickly (Heb. 10:23-25).

    • Give the new believers great grace to share with and deal with their immediate family members.

    • Thank You for the provoking to jealousy of so many Jews by non-Jewish believers (Rom. 11:11).

    • Abba, thank You for the many Jews and Jewish leaders who openly defend the Jewishness of Jesus. But Lord Yeshua, where is Your Church? Why is there so much silence when Muslims call Him a Palestinian Arab? Are they ashamed of their Jewish King? Or do they believe in another Jesus, another gospel and are infected by another spirit (2 Cor. 11:4)? Lord, wake up Your Body to this end time attack against You.

  3. As we also prayed for aliyah, and as that is absolutely His will – and for His glory – we thanked Him for all the Jews who were confronted by His Spirit over the Seder about their disobedience to His clear Word and instead choose a comfortable gilded cage in exile.

    • You, My servant Jacob, do not fear, says YHWH. Do not be terrified, O Israel. For behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.Jer. 30:10; cp. 46:27

    • Lord, we believe You heard our prayers and stirred up the nest of many Jews in exile (Deut. 32:11-12).

    • Now set their eyes on Zion and not on any other place (Jer. 50:4-5).

    • Impart to them a sense of urgency that now is the time to flee and return home (Zech. 2:6-7).

    • Release all the Jews in Iran to come home with all their family members (Isa. 43:5).

    • Please Lord, bring all the Ethiopian Jews home this very year (Isa. 43:6).

    • In the new government, impart a new sense of Zionism into the Interior Ministry and may it be much easier for Jews of all backgrounds, beliefs and races to come home (Ezek.. 39:27-28).

  4. We prayed for Bibi Netanyahu to continue as Israel's prime minister and God heard our prayers. We were lead to pray specifically for him as he is the center of so much hope and hate here in Israel and elsewhere. For example, the majority of the USA Jewish community was upset with how Israelis voted and have pressured the US administration to block Bibi from applying Israeli law to Jewish settlements.

    • Lord, please bless this man – Your choice to lead Israel at this time (Psa. 80:17).

    • Remove the intense stress that he must feel and replace it with a supernatural peace (Isa. 26:3).

    • If Netanyahu does not yet know his Messiah, please reveal Yeshua to him quickly (John 1:29, 49).

    • Enlighten this verse to him: Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; but those who wait on YHWH shall renew [lit: exchange] their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isa. 40:30-31)

    • Remove all distractions from Bibi being all the leader Israel needs at this time.

    • Surround him with people he can trust and with godly counsel (Prov. 11:14).

  5. James 4:2b says, You have not because you ask not. So we asked God specifically for an Israeli government through whom He would be glorified,

    • Abba, give us a government that is righteous in Your sight (Prov. 14:34).

    • Raise up for Israel a government that fears You rather than man (Prov. 29:25).

    • Impart to the next leadership a courage to possess all of Israel's possessions (Obad. 1:17).

    • May Israel have a coalition that is so unified it provokes the rest of society to jealousy (Psa. 133:1-3).

    • With the all vital issues that the government has to deal with, make their priorities Yours (Prov. 21:1).

    • Raise up Your choices for all the ministries – especially the defense, foreign, and finance ministries.

  6. The reality as of now is that the new government coalition negotiations are already as ugly and manipulative as we expected. Netanyahu needs God's wisdom to put together a functioning government without compromising Israel's security or prosperity or surrendering to extortion and manipulation.

    • Lord, move on Bibi at this time to have this testimony from them who know him: Now, Ezra, after the wisdom of your God that is in your hand, set officers and judges who may judge all the people who are Beyond the River, all who know the Laws of your God; and teach them who do not know. (Ezra 7:25)

    • Protect him and his Likud party from all witchcraft, extortion and manipulation (Num. 23:23).

    • Rule over Israel's rulers and give us a government in line with Your will (Psa. 103:19; Prov. 19:21).

    • Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His, and He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings.Dan. 2:20b-21a

    • May a solid coalition be formed quickly and out of the media until ready to be revealed (Dan. 2:22).

    • Do a mighty work in the minds of all the potential coalition members to see that all of the people of Israel – and not just their specific constituents – must be served (2 Chr. 35:3b).

    • Make the ultra-Orthodox parties reasonable, sensible and –we dare to ask – Zionistic! (Matt. 21:22)

  7. The Trump "peace" deal is still a mystery. There are all sorts of rumors and the only thing they have in common is how one does not agree with the other. Will Israel be forced to give up 90% of its land in Judea and Samaria and share Jerusalem as a Palestinian capital, or is the "two-state" solution dead in the minds of the US administration and the deal will offer huge financial and life-betterment incentives to the Palestinians while Israel maintains overall control of the territory? What we do know is that Netanyahu is dead-set against allowing the Palestinians to have a sovereign state as the rest of the world demands.

    • Please strengthen Bibi to just say "No!" to anything that is against Your revealed will (Deut. 29:29).

    • Bring into the coalition those who can strengthen, encourage and support him in this (Eccl. 4:12).

    • May the uncovering of this plan be in Your prefect timing [As of now, it is to be released right after the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, around the middle of June.] (Eccl. 3:1).

  8. Security: No one really knows what the response of the Palestinians will be when the peace deal is finally presented to them. Indications are that if there was no threat from radical Muslims in their midst, the majority of Palestinians would be willing to live in peace with the Jews. Yet historically, the radical "kill-or-be-killed" minority has always been able to rule over the peaceful sheep in any nation.

    • Give the IDF Your wisdom and plans to be prepared for the morning after!

    • We expect violent demonstrations on the Gaza security fence both then and each Friday until…? Lord, do not allow the IDF to be more merciful than You are to those who want to kill Your people (Gal. 6:7).

    • As we look back at this year of huge Gaza demonstrations and see how little the impact has been, we are thrilled at how You answered our prayers and proven so faithful to protect You people (Psa. 50:15).

    • Lord, You have drawn us back to Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria (Zech. 12:2-3; Jer. 31:3-5). Therefore, we remind You of Jeremiah 31:10 and ask for Your divine protection in all these areas: Hear the word of YHWH, O gentiles, and declare it in the lands far off, saying, 'He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock'.

  9. Security: Economic pressure on Iran has just increased exponentially. By both "natural" disasters – and with God totally sovereign over the earth, the massive floods and the invasion of locust hordes, could be His response to the constant threats of Iran's leaders to destroy Israel – and by the tightening of US sanctions on nations importing Iranian oil, this is a very tense time for Iran. Ayatollah Khamenei has also just appointed one of the most vicious anti-Semitic and zealous military men, who openly threatens to annihilate Israel, to the highest military post in that nation – so this is a tense time for Israel as well.

    • YHWH reigns; let the peoples tremble. He sits between the cherubs; let the earth quake.Psa. 99:1

    • Abba, thank You for the increased rage and frustration of the common Persians against their wicked leaders. May this be the time when You destroy the king and the rulers of that nation and set Your throne in its midst (Jer. 49:38)!

    • In mercy for both Iran and Israel – forbid Iran from deflecting its huge problems by attacking Israel.

    • Use the Iranian Church for Your glory and to undermine the foundations of Islam there (Matt. 16:18).

    • Allow Russian President Putin to see all this and break the bonds between Russia and Iran (Psa. 64:7-9).

We had another very wet weekend, with even snow falling on Mount Hermon. The Sea of Galilee is not full yet, but we are still asking God for that miracle as well.

May our Risen Lord Yeshua be very real to you during these days.
