1. Praise: Shabbat's Torah portion declares the truth of God's sovereignty over this world that many in believers reject, trusting instead in the demonic lie that Satan is the god of this world.

    • I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, so that you [Pharaoh] will know that I am YHWH in the midst of the earth.Ex. 8:10
    • For I will at this time send all My plagues upon your heart, and upon your servants, and upon your people; so that you will know that there is none like Me in all the earth.Ex. 9:14

    • Lord Yeshua, we praise You that You confirmed this truth when You prayed, I thank You Father, Lord of heaven and earth… (Matt. 11:25b)

    • Because of this fact, You told us to proclaim to Zion, Your God reigns! (Isa. 52:7)

    • In these uncertain times in most areas of life, we rejoice that You are in total control (Isa. 64:3-4).

    • We give You all the glory for nothing takes You by surprise, and although at times we cannot see what You are doing, as in the book of Esther, You are always working behind the scenes (Isa. 45:15).

    • In fact, You are working in us at this very moment – and for that we thank You (Phil. 2:12b-13).

    • We rejoice in You fulfilling Your prophetic Word today – all of which proves that You are God and that Your Word is the ultimate truth in which we can trust (Isa. 42:9; 44:7-8).

    • Thank You for being our unshakeable foundation, our Rock of ages (Psa. 18:2, 31, 46; 94:2).

    • Praise You for setting Your people free from Egypt – and setting us free from sin – so that we can worship and serve You (Ex. 9:1). [Hebrew translated "worship" in this verse also means "serve".]

    • We bless You for asking us to partake of Your kingdom's coming through prayer (Luke 11:2).

  2. Government: Both the current government and the one formed after the March 23rd elections will need to deal with the new US administration. That will require strength, tact and courage as Joe Biden will likely be the opposite of Trump when it comes to dealing favorably with Israel.

    • Father, we trust that You, as the Lord God of Israel, will watch over Your covenant commitment to protect Your nation and Your people (Psa. 121:4; Jer. 31:35-37).

    • Lord, teach Israel's leaders to look to You and not to man (Psa. 118:8-9).

    • Protect Israel's leaders from being manipulated by the new US administration into committing to anything that is against Your will (Psa. 124:7-8).

    • Let Israel's leaders be wise as serpents and harmless as doves in dealing with Biden (Matt. 10:16).

    • We ask for the gift of wisdom and discernment which You graced King Solomon with to be given to all of Israel's leaders in all areas of life – political, military, civic, religious, etc. (2 Chr. 1:11-12).

    • Focus them on today's priorities, and to not be too distracted by the new elections (Psa. 123:1).

  3. Coronavirus and its effects: Israel leads the world in the percentage of people vaccinated. PM Bibi Netanyahu has agreed with the pharmacy companies to share the data from Israel's vaccination program so that they to improve their vaccines. Once again, Israel is trying to be a light to the world – whether we agree with doing it this way or not.

    • Lord, only You know whether this is a wise decision so we ask for You to watch over Romans 8:28 over this nation which is the called according to Your purpose.

    • Lead each Israeli by Your Spirit to know if and when to be vaccinated (Psa. 32:8).

    • May the shared vaccine data be only what You permit and nothing more (Psa. 119:68; Prov. 15:2a).

    • Let what is shared to be a benefit to the rest of humanity (Prov. 2:6; Eccl. 2:26a).

    • May the negative side-effects seen after the second "jab" be dealt with and minimized (Jer. 8:22).

    • With many people hurting financially, open new and unexpectedly doors for them (Isa. 43:19).

    • Pour out Your mercy on small business owners who are depressed and desperate (Prov. 14:31).

    • Please revive the tourist industry and provide a working strategy to bring this about (Mic. 4:2).

    • We remind You that You brought Your people back to do them good (Isa. 30:26; Ezek. 36:11).

  4. Israeli elections: We continue to believe, and intercede for the next government to be a step forward in God's will of making Israel His light to the nations and in using Israel for His end-time purposes. God is making Israel His impossible-to-ignore sign to the world that He is a reality that they sooner or later – we think sooner – will need to deal with. Israel's resurrection and its coming into its prophetic fullness in line with His Word is the last chance for nations and peoples to choose for or against the God of the Bible.

    • Grant Israel a new government that will further Your kingdom purposes (2 Chr. 12:32).

    • Continue to clean out the dross, so that You can restore Israel's judges as at the first (Isa. 1:25-26).

    • Give Israel leaders who care more about the nation than their own political careers (2 Sam. 23:2-4).

    • Remove all politicians who are addicted to power (Dan. 4:29-32).

    • Yet please retain all the excellent ministers who are in the current government (Prov. 12:2a; 20:6).

    • In all of the chaos of so many smaller parties, with new ones being formed almost weekly, remove egos and give potential Israeli leaders a willingness to work together (2 Chr. 7:14; Psa. 10:17).

    • Remove all barriers which separate the three right wing leaders, PM Bibi Netanyahu, Gideon Sa'ar and Naftali Bennet, and move upon them to work with each other (Prov. 13:10; 18:19; 21:1) .

    • Raise up a government with more of a fear of You than a fear of man (Prov. 29:25).

    • Lord, may that include not fearing the ultra-Orthodox but placing limits on their oversight upon the lives of Israelis who are not of their sect ((Jer. 2:8; 3:15).

    • Create a government that will annex all of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley (Gen. 13:14-18).

    • Give Israel leaders who will at least consider the idea of retaking Gaza (Judg. 1:18a).

    • May the next government build and guard Israel with advanced tools and weapons (Neh. 4:17-18).

    • Impress on the new leaders to build up all areas in Israel – from the Golan to the Negev (Neh. 2:20).

    • For Your glory, may the next government open wide the doors for massive aliyah (Isa. 43:5-7).

    • Raise up in places of authority those who know and respect Messianic Jews (Acts 5:38-39).

  5. Security – internal: The Palestinians are anticipating an American return to the "press-Israel because-the-poor-Palestinians-are-victims" mindset. Unfortunately, reports say that Biden, the EU, the UN, and most other nations want a revival of the anti-biblical "two-states-for-two-people-land-for-peace" deal, based on the impossible to defend 1967 borders.

    • Forbid any Israeli leader from saying yes to this dangerous land-for-peace process (Lev. 25:23).

    • Speed up all building projects in these areas regardless of what the gentile nations say (Psa. 147:2).

    • Protect all settlers who live in Israeli communities as they live and travel (Jer. 31:3-5; 32:41-44).

    • Thank You Lord for the huge decrease in terror-related deaths over the past year (Psa. 121:4).

    • Yet as terror attacks have risen recently, enable Israel to gain all the intelligence it needs to halt every terrorist in his – or her – tracks (Psa. 33:10-11).

    • Help Israel in its cyber-gathering of intelligence inside and outside of the land (Isa. 48:6).

    • By Your Spirit, anoint those who decipher the gathered intelligence from all sources to know what is actionable accurate intelligence and what is misinformation, or even disinformation (1 John 4:6).

    • Widen the division in Palestinian society between those who want to live in peace and quiet against those whose hatred for the Jews overrides everything else – including life (Psa. 55:9).

  6. Security – external: Iran is demanding an end of US sanctions otherwise it threatens to refine uranium to 20% – a very dangerous step towards weapons grade uranium.

    • Prepare Israel to attack Iran's nuclear sites with – or without – America's permission (Jer. 51:20-24).

    • Thank You for the Iran command unit in the IDF. Guide them in their strategy (Prov. 21:31).

    • Any of their plans that are not of You, sweep off the table, yet all plans that are of You – shine a bright spotlight on them (Psa. 36:9b).

    • Send down any plans from You that are not yet being considered (Prov. 16:1, 9).

    • Provide accurate and actionable information on what is being planned in Iran (Job 12:22).

    • Send confusion and lying spirits into the hearts of Iran's leadership (1 Kin. 22:22; Psa. 35:26).

    • Dry up all Iran's finances that are being used for its hell-inspired plans against Israel (Job 20:15).

    • You have been hearing our prayers and removing Iran's princes (Jer. 49:38b). Thank You.

    • You have also answered our prayers for the setting up of Your throne in that nation (Jer. 49:38a).

    • We praise You for that and for continuing to build the Iranian Body of Messiah (Matt. 16:18).

    • Protect the growing Iranian Church and the small Iranian Jewish community (Psa. 121:3).

    • Rebuke openly and sharply all those nations who continue to support an Iranian leadership which constantly declares that its aim is to annihilate Your nation, the Jewish State (Num. 24:9b).

    • Wake up the believers in those nations to see how this support for Iran makes that nation a bullseye for Your judgment (Ezek. 36:5; Joel 3:1-2).

  7. Messiah's Body: We were burdened to intercede for our American family in Messiah as with what has happened recently in that nation, many are probably fighting anger, discouragement, disillusionment and even doubt concerning the efficacy of intercession.

    • Send a spirit of encouragement and strength to aid US believers to finish their race (Heb. 12:1).

    • Encourage them, and the rest of Your Body, that it is Your words which never fail (Isa. 55:11).

    • Remind us all that Your thoughts and ways are much higher than ours (Isa. 55:8-9).

    • Turn their focus on You and Your lovingkindness even in the midst of calamity (Lam. 3:22-24).

    • Lord, we trust that You know what You are doing and allowing – all of the time (Psa. 103:19).

    • Place an encouraging word in the mouths of the teaching elders in the US Church (Prov. 15:23).

    • Abba, reveal to the American Church how vital it is for them to pray for Biden (1 Tim. 2:1-4).

    • Teach Your worldwide Body how to pray in these savage and ferocious days (2 Tim. 3:1).

    • Show our family in Messiah in every nation that which You are doing in Israel – for the glory of Your name (Ezek. 36:23-24; Jer. 32:41-44; Zech. 12:2-3; Mal. 1:5).

    • Guide us as we battle against the end-time war against the saints, as the enemy tries to wear us down with one devious trick after another (Dan. 7:21, 25).

    • Lord Yeshua, help us find our rest and peace in You alone – our Divine Overcomer (John 16:33).

  8. Aliyah: The following verses in Shabbat's prophetic reading reveal the connection between aliyah, God's judgment on Israel's enemies, gentiles seeing that Israel's God is God, and finally Israel's salvation. And it all starts with the regathering of God's scattered people.

    • Thus says the Lord YHWH, 'When I have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and am sanctified in them in the sight of the gentiles, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to My servant Jacob. They shall dwell safely in it, build houses, and plant vineyards. Yes, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments on all those around them who despise them, and they shall know that I am YHWH their God.Ezek. 28:25-26

    • Bring home all Jews who have begun the aliyah process, but have been stymied because of the current global corona-restrictions (Isa. 62:10).

    • Keep all the ministers in the current government who have a burden for the aliyah and the klitah [absorption; settling] in the next government (Psa. 75:5-7; Jer. 31:8-9).

    • For any American Jews who voted for Trump, open their hearts to come home (Jer. 51:9-10).

    • Shake up all UK and EU Jews to see the anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls (Est. 3:12-13; 4:3).

    • Return them in mercy by the hand of the fishers that You send (Jer. 16:16a).

    • But if that is not enough, then use Your hunters scare the "exile" out of them (Jer. 16:16b).

    • Send dreams and visions declaring the truth that the exile is not their home (Joel 2:28-29).

    • Use the Jewish children in exile to tell their parents that it is time to return to Israel (Jer. 31:17).

    • Expose the ugly anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism that pervades in most Western universities.

  9. Salvation: In Shabbat's Torah portion God tells Moses that one of the reasons why He will plague Egypt is so that the Egyptians will know He is God.

    • Pharaoh shall not heed you, so that I may lay My hand upon Egypt, and bring forth My armies, My people the sons of Israel…by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know I am YHWH, when I stretch forth My hand on Egypt, and bring out the sons of Israel from among them.Ex. 7:4-5

    • Lord, thank You that often You are known by Your judgments (Psa. 9:16a).

    • Use the restoration of Israel to continue waking up gentiles to Your saving power (Psa. 67:1-7).

    • Then use those gentiles – especially ex-Muslim believers – to provoke Your nation to inquire as to why those who once hated them are now their staunch supporters (Rom. 11:11).

    • We ask that every Jew alive today – in Israel or in the exile – will hear the good news of Messiah Yeshua at some point during 2021 (Acts 26:22-23).

    • For thus says YHWH, 'Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish, praise, and say, "YHWH, save Your people, the remnant of Israel"'. (Jer. 31:7) Amen!

    • Prepare the Messianic Body to receive and nourish all these new believers (Eph. 4:11-16).

Water: Please continue to ask the Lord for all the water this nation needs – especially with the large aliyah forecast to come.
