Praise:
One of the most encouraging eternal truths about God is His faithfulness.
-
If we believe not, yet He abides faithful: He cannot deny Himself.2 Tim. 2:13
-
We bless You Lord God, that a part of Your essential nature is Your faithfulness – and not only are You faithful in Yourself but also to us whom You have brought into Your kingdom (1 Cor. 1:9).
-
We praise You as Your faithfulness to us is our encouragement to be faithful to You (Heb. 10:23).
-
We trust in You to sanctify/purify us completely because You are a faithful God (1 Thess. 5:24).
-
Thank You for strengthening us and protecting us from the Evil One (2 Thess. 3:3).
-
As a child of Yours said many centuries ago, the closer we draw to You – the further away from You we see that we are. Yet we remain Your children and we bless You for inviting us to come boldly into Your throne of grace to receive all of Your grace and mercy that we need (Heb. 4:16).
-
God, we are amazed at Your persistent grace and love and mercy to Israel – despite its all-too-often unfaithfulness to You (Deut. 7:9; Psa. 36:5; 89:1-2, 8; 119:75; Lam. 3:22-23).
-
How encouraging to know that You, Lord, are the faithful One who never changes (Heb. 13:8).
-
Thank You for being the solid Rock on which we can stand in times of trouble (Psa. 27:5).
-
We bless and praise You for revealing to us how You, the omnipotent God, have and will continue to humble Yourself to care for us and to protect us (Matt. 10:29-31).

Aliyah:
The Torah portion tells of the first aliyah of Israel as a people, when they left Egyptian captivity to go up to the land which God had sworn to give them (Ex. 12:31-42). Yet after all God did to Egypt to bring Israel out, still they doubted Him, and ended up wandering in the wilderness. Today many Jews remain in the exile because they too have forgotten the wondrous things God has done for His nation and people and they end up comparing the giants in Israel with their bagels and lox and leeks and onions in captivity (Num. 11:5).
-
Lord, as Your will is for Your people to come home from every corner of the globe, we pray for Your will to be done on earth so that You will be glorified (Isa. 43:5-7; Luke 11:2b).
-
In mercy, continue to release the hunters to chase Your people home (Jer. 16:16).
-
At the same time, draw Your people back by Your covenant love and faithfulness (Jer. 31:3).
-
Let Jews see the increase in antisemitism and recognize that their fear of change and of an unknown future in Israel is better than to stay in exile as the chariots of Egypt swoop down on them (Ex. 14:10).
-
Use the very evident increase in natural disasters to uproot the Jews who are affected, showing them that they can use whatever insurance monies they receive to resettle in Israel (Joel 3:16-17).
-
Send angels to pull out Your procrastinating people from today's Sodom (Gen. 19:15-16).
-
Weaken all attempts to reestablish or secure Jewish communities in exile (Isa. 48:20; Jer. 51:9-10).
-
Stir up rabbis and other leaders to teach on aliyah and also to lead their people home (Jer. 51:8-10).
-
Thank You for bringing close to 50,000 Jews back to Israel over the past two years (Jer. 31:8-9).
-
For Your holy name's sake – increase that number considerably this year (Ezek. 36:21-24).
-
Open the gates for Jews who want to return but are trapped in nations like in Iran and Venezuela.
-
Move upon wealthy Jews to make aliyah – and to financially help other Jews to return (Ezra 1:1-4).
-
Reignite the love for the land in the hearts of many Jews who visited Israel and were deeply touched as they walked on the land of their forefathers (Isa. 62:4-5).
-
May all of the ministers in Israel's government who have a heart to see Your people return and to be permanently settled in Your land be incredibly successful in their efforts (Ezek. 28:25-26).
-
As Pnina Tamano Shata, the minister of aliyah and immigration, has been such a blessing in that position – bless and encourage her and increase her influence and efforts (Gen. 12:3).
-
Grant wisdom to the government ministries and organizations that work with the new immigrants to know how to disperse their funds to those who are really in need (Deut. 15:7).
-
Settle the new immigrants firmly on Your land, and give them strength, courage and joy (Jer. 24:6).
-
Give the global Body of Messiah prophetic insight to understand that the restoration of Israel to its land – both the people and the nation –is of You (Psa. 147:2; Jer. 32:41; Ezek. 11:17: Zech. 8:1-8).
-
Impart revelation that this must occur before You return (Psa. 102:16; Zech. 14:1-4; Matt. 23:39).
-
-
Government:
Recently the government's coronavirus directives have been very confusing. Yet God is never confused nor will He ever stop protecting His nation (Psa. 121:4).
-
Lord, as You are not the author of confusion, please guide Israel's government (1 Cor. 14:33).
-
Yet You can use this confusion for Your glory – as Israel is definitely "called" by You (Rom. 8:28).
-
Give us Your perspective to know how to intercede for Israel today (Psa. 40:5; Rom. 11:33-36).
-
Let intelligent and knowledgeable voices speak into this very confusing situation concerning what to do and not do in relation to the coronavirus and then give Your people discernment (Psa. 90:12).
-
Stop Israel's media from using fear tactics with its reports on the virus (Psa. 46:2).
-
Again, we ask You to "Goshen" Your nation from this plague (Ex. 8:22).
-
In every decision that the government makes or refrains from making – not just about the virus, but in every area – if You will not be glorified then step in and stop it (Psa. 115:1-3)!
-
Hedge in Israel's government and pour out a huge dose of the fear of the Lord (Job 28:28).
-
Keep this coalition in place only as long as it is Your will and not a moment longer (Dan. 2:21).
-
Bring any ungodly dealings in the coalition into the light of day (Job 20:27; Dan. 2:22).
-
Let PM Bennett and his coalition partners who committed to build more communities and houses in the Golan, the Jordan Valley and in the Negev – do exactly as they have promised (Jer. 32:42-44).
-
Lord, as Foreign Minister Yair Lapid's is infected with Covid, use this to move him from trusting in himself to seeing how much he really needs You (Psa. 119:67, 71, 75).
-
Ra'am – the Israeli-Arab Islamic party in the coalition – has threatened a coalition crisis over Israel planting trees in parts of the Negev. Lord, this is against a very clear prophetic word (Isa. 41:19), so please purge this government of Ra'am or use this to bring the government down (Eccl. 3:2b).
-
As the right-wing members of the coalition see this, convict them of their betrayal of their supporters and let at least some of them openly repent and quit this anti-biblical government (Psa. 51:1-4).
-
Lord, we have seen a huge logjam in the way of electing a God-fearing, Bible honoring government. You know which logs to unjam and we ask You to do this before the next election (Psa. 124:7-8).
-
-
Internal security:
The goals of the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria and of Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza are the same – the total destruction of the nation of Israel. While their methods are different, they are all very dangerous to the Jewish people. Israel has been fighting a war for its survival against the Arabs for over 100 years, but until it possesses all of the land promised to it, Israel will continue to need to fight against these anti-Christ-like Islamic forces.
-
Lord, Your enemy is furious as he sees You restoring Your people on Your land with all of Your heart and soul (Jer. 32:41) and although he tries to thwart You, we ask You to fulfill for Your nation every single thing that You said in Your Word concerning them (Num. 23:19; Isa. 55:11).
-
It seems that Israel needs You to create another situation like in 1967 where it had no choice but to conquer and all of the land – from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. With as much mercy as possible, do this for Your glory's sake (Psa. 85:9-13; Ezek. 36:5-12).
-
You promised to bring Your people back to Judea and Samaria, the physical mountains of Israel, yet Jewish settlements in these so-called "Occupied Territories" creates great anger in much of the world. Still, we ask You to watch over Your Word and fulfill it (Jer. 1:12; Ezek. 34:13-14).
-
If this coalition, or any of its members, is paving the way for the creation of a Palestinian State on Your land, then arise and pave the way for this coalition's downfall (Lev. 25:23; Joel 3:1-2).
-
Defense Minister Benny Gantz seems to be taking the lead in this. Lord, block all of his efforts and, if creating a Palestine is really in his heart, move him from office suddenly (Psa. 75:6-7).
-
Strengthen and protect the IDF and all Israel's other security forces who operate in Judea, Samaria, on all of Israel's borders and along the Gaza security fence (Gen. 15:1; Deut. 33:29: Psa. 3:3).
-
Protect all Israelis against stone-throwing, car-rammings and kidnappings (Psa. 89:18).
-
Let the full force of justice be applied against all those who commit these attacks (Eccl. 8:11).
-
Keep IDF soldiers alert at all times, guarding them against distractions (Psa. 140:7).
-
Protect those gathering intelligence against deception and reveal all that is needed (2 Kin. 6:12).
-
Remove the leaders of the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and Islamic Jihad at the same time and let the chaos that follows benefit the Jewish State and any peaceful Palestinians left behind (Psa. 129:5).
-
Alternatively, prepare Israel for the day after PA President Abbas is no longer around (Isa. 42:9).
-
Lord God, please bless, strengthen and protect all Israeli-Arab pro-Israel voices (Ex. 18:9).
-
-
External security:
The news coming out of Vienna concerning the Iranian nuclear deal is not good. America under the Biden Administration seems willing to appease Iran in order to re-enter that evil Obama deal. Any lifting of sanctions will only help to finance increased Iranian backed terrorism and unrest in the Middle East and further afield. These finances will not reach Iranian citizens, most of whom are hurting and most of whom only want to live in peace – even with Israel.
-
Lord, You know what is happening in Vienna between Iran and the P5+1 nations, and we ask that nothing would be agreed on that is outside of Your will for this time in history (Psa. 33:10-11).
-
Let some of these nations recognize and refuse to kneel down to Iran's manipulations (Isa. 3:11).
-
Break the relationship between Iran and Russia and China (Psa. 35:26).
-
Give Israel precise intelligence of any secret deals agreed on in Vienna (Luke 12:2).
-
God of Israel, arise and shake the very ground under all of Iran's nuclear facilities – and do this in such a way that there will be no doubt that this was a supernatural event (1 Kin. 19:11; Psa. 99:1-2).
-
Lord, unless You deal with this threat, at some point soon Israel will need to attack Iran. May that attack be 101% effective and in Your perfect timing (Psa. 31:15; Prov. 21:30-31; Isa. 41:14-16).
-
As Your thoughts and ways are higher than man's (Isa. 55:8-9), we again request that You would download Your plans to the IDF's Iran Command as they prepare to act against Iran (Prov. 16:4, 9).
-
Give IDF commanders out-of-the-box thinking so that Israel's attacks will shock and devastate all of its enemies, causing them to flee from before Your army (Deut. 28:7; Jer. 51:19-24; Mic. 4:11-13).
-
Grant that Israel will be the head and not the tail in all types of new warfare, including cyber, laser, and EMP (Deut. 28:13; Isa. 28:26).
-
When Israel needs to act, Lord, create unity between the military and the government (Eccl. 4:12).
-
Let Israel be prepared to deal with the world's condemnation the day after the attack (Psa. 56:5).
-
Let Israel be prepared to defend itself against the reprisals of Iran's many proxies which surround it as that time – and we do ask for Your divine help in all of this (2 Chr. 20:29; Psa. 3:6; 97:3).
-
If an Israeli attack will trigger Gog & Magog, or even Zechariah 12-14, please reveal this to Your intercessors so that we can all pray in line with Your will and purposes (Amos 3:7).
-

Body of Messiah:
At this crucial time in history, there is a great need for more believers who are like the sons of Issachar which are mentioned in the Tanach:
-
…men that had an understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do…1 Chr. 12:32b
-
Lord Yeshua, anoint those of us in Your Body who are committed to intercession – especially in relation to Israel at this time – to be like these men of Issachar (Isa. 62:6-7).
-
King Messiah, impart to many believers in Your Body a true biblical understanding of these times and discernment to know how to pray for Israel and for their own nations (Num. 24:9b; 1 Tim. 2:1-4).
-
Renew a love for Your complete Word in many hearts throughout the Body this year (Jer. 15:16).
-
Anoint true intercessors in all the generations of believers who are alive today (Eph. 6:18).
-
[Oswald Chambers said, and I'm paraphrasing, that often believers pray to do the work of God – yet prayer is the work of God!] Lord, may more believers perceive this truth (Luke 18:1; John 15:16)!
-
-
Water:
As we are around the mid-point of the rainy season in Israel, we are in need of asking God to open the heavens so that the Sea of Galilee and all the aquifers might be filled.
-
Thank You for the rain that has fallen this season (Jer. 14:22).
-
We are thrilled by the abundance of rain and snow falling on the land now and forecasted over the next week (Deut. 11:14). More, Lord!
-
You, Lord God, are in charge of all climate changes that the earth is experiencing, so we ask You to rearrange climate patterns so that Your land will end up like the Garden of Eden (Ezek. 36:35-36).

IFI:
We bless and thank you for your prayers for this ministry. Please continue to pray that His anointing, His mental, emotional, physical and financial supply would be available to us, and that His precise guidance would lead IFI to know how to intercede (Psa. 23:3b). Also, if there is to be a future for this ministry, that He would bring forth the next generation of leaders.
Shabbat shalom and blessings from Jerusalem
