1. Praise:

   Have you noticed how often in the Bible the leaders of God's people intercede, asking Him for mercy on His people? One example is in Shabbat's Torah portion, as Korah and Dathan's rebellion against Moses and Aaron so angered God that He threatened to destroy the whole nation, yet Moses and Aaron prayed, God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will You be angry with all of the congregation? (Num. 16:22)

   • Lord, we praise You for telling us how precious our prayers are in Your sight (Prov. 15:8a).

   • Thank You for the constant encouragement Your Word gives us to pray and not to faint (Luke 18:1).

   • Bless You for the example of Elijah – a man who persisted in prayer and was heard (Jam. 5:16b-18).

   • We praise You for actively seeking for intercessors so that You can have mercy (Ezek. 22:30-31).

   • We also thank You for ordaining intercessors in order for Your will to be done (Isa. 62:1-3, 6-7).

   • As You said to Aaron in the Torah portion, we bless You for being our inheritance (Num. 18:20).

   • We are grateful for the guidance Your Word gives us to pray in these chaotic days (Psa. 31:3; 32:8).

2. Government & society:

   We have been called into His kingdom now, as the world rushes into the prophesied end-time chaos and tribulation. The suddenness with which prophetic events about Israel have occurred since Oct. 7th is both exciting and frightening. As we pray many times per week, we trust God to lead us and correct us to intercede more in line with His will (1 John 5:14-15).

   • Lord Yeshua, direct our prayers to be in line with Your will for today (1 Sam. 3:10; Rom. 8:26).

   • Abba Father, continue to anoint Israel's sons and daughters of Zion with wisdom and the authority they need to steer Your nation in a more biblical path (Deut. 4:5-6; Isa. 28:5-6; Zech. 9:13).

   • God, thank You for challenging us to trust in You and not in Israel's government, although we know that You have raised up Israel's current government at this time (Est. 4:14b; Psa. 103:19; Jer. 27:5).

   • Download to every Jew, especially those living in Israel, a biblically-correct mindset and cast out all politically-correct, humanistic thinking (Psa. 119:143-144; Jer. 17:5-8; Matt. 7:24-25).

   • By grace, draw Israel's leaders' to seek You for wisdom (2 Chr. 1:10; Psa. 18:30; Song 1:4a).

   • Protect and anoint PM Bibi Netanyahu until, in Your time, You remove him (Psa. 80:17; Prov. 21:1).

   • Lord, be a shield about him – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually (Psa. 3:3; 119:114).

   • Give him that prophesied wisdom and knowledge of which Daniel spoke (Dan. 2:21b).

   • God of Israel, be the final arbitrator for the date of Israel's next election (Psa. 103:19; Eccl. 3:1).

   • Almighty One, use Israel's current coalition for Your glory and Israel's good (Psa. 115:1-3).

   • Strengthen them against yielding to all internal or external anti-God pressure (Num. 23:23).

   • Bring to pass Isaiah 1:25-27 in the judicial, as well as in every other area of Israeli society.

   • As in Shabbat's Torah portion, Lord God deal with those in Israel's society who like Korah and Dathan are in active rebellion against Your currently appointed leaders (Num. 16:20-35).

   • Have mercy on all who follow them and are unaware of how upsetting this is to You (Num. 17:10).

   • Lord Yeshua, release Your comfort on all Israelis who need it (Isa. 61:1-3), and also heal the ex-hostages who are back home of their intense mental and emotional trauma (Psa. 30:2-3; 147:3).

   • Enable the IDF and society to accept the ultra-Orthodox – and vice-versa – so that they can serve their nation and not have to compromise their basic religious beliefs (Lev. 19:18; Prov. 18:19).

   • Creator of all, sustain Israel's economy at this time (Psa. 132:13-15; Jer. 32:17), and speak to Your land to abundantly provide all of Israel's needs (Ezek. 36:8-12).

3. Foreign relations:

   The recent debate between US President Biden and ex-President Trump exposed how frail and disoriented Biden really is. We continue to pray for Israel to wake up to the truth that it has few reliable allies among the nations and must totally trust in God (Psa. 84:12; 91:2)..

   • Use that debate to warn Israelis how the current US administration under Biden is not dependable, and turn them to trust in You alone (Psa. 20:7; Isa. 31:1; Rom. 8:28).

   • Give Netanyahu and Israel's diplomats wisdom in dealing with America as no one knows how much longer Biden will be in office or if he will even run in the next election (Job 34:24; Psa. 75:6-7).

   • Do not allow Israelis to view Trump as a "savior" if he becomes the next US president (Jer. 17:5-6).

   • Lord God, if it is 100% Your will for Netanyahu to speak to a joint session of the US Congress on July 24th then use him as Your mouthpiece to bring forth truth out of Zion (Mic. 4:2).

   • But if he should not speak, we ask You to stop this event from coming to pass (Lam. 3:37).

   • Abba, watch over Psalm 33:10-11 against a world that is becoming more anti-Israel daily (Jer. 1:12).

   • Lord, fulfill Isaiah 66:4 from Shabbat's prophetic portion over both the UN and every other nation or NGO who deals with Your nation in an unbiblical and disrespectful manner (Gen. 12:3a).

   • Anoint Danny Danon afresh as he again becomes Israel's UN Ambassador (Prov. 13:17b; 28:20a).

   • Continue to use Amichai Chikli, Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs, as a true son of Zion among the nations and empower him to have more of a positive influence in Israel as well (Psa. 75:5-7).

   • God, show believers how to warn their nations that You will not be mocked, and if those nations push Israel to divide Your land, their societies will see even deeper divisions (Joel 3:1-2; Gal. 6:7).

4. "Operation Swords of Iron:"

   Israel says it is close to defeating Hamas in Gaza. Whether that is totally true or not, we are praying about what Israel should do next to continue its war against Hamas' guerilla forces and how it should oversee Gaza so that threats against Israel will not arise again.

   • Lord of hosts, thank You that Israel has increased the intensity of its attacks and is close to ending this stage of the war (Eccl. 8:11).

   • Send forth Your strategy on how the IDF must battle against Hamas who will now be fighting as a guerilla army (Josh. 4:13-5:5; 2 Sam. 5:17-25; Prov. 21:31).

   • Gracious Father, continue to guard Israel's soldiers against enemy fire and booby-traps, and protect them against friendly fire and all other deadly accidents (Psa. 35:1; 121:3-4; 140:7).

   • God of truth, let Israel constantly declare the truth that all civilian deaths, Gazans and Israelis, are Hamas' doing as Hamas broke a ceasefire and attacked Israel, they and their weapons are hidden in civilian areas and their fighters all dress-up as civilians (Job 24:14; Psa. 5:10; 10:8; 34:21).

   • Guide Israel to fulfill its biblical obligation to eliminate all Hamas leaders, regardless of where they are, as they are guilty of the murder of thousands of Israelis (Ex. 21:14; Num. 35:16-21; 1 Tim. 1:9).

   • Give wisdom to Israel's leaders to know what Israel must do to set its hostages free (Num. 21:1-3).

   • All-seeing God, show the IDF where all the remaining hostages are, living or dead (Isa. 49:24-26).

   • Lord, expose every terror tunnel connecting Rafah and Egypt, and every other undiscovered tunnel throughout Gaza (Ex. 15:11-12; Psa. 139:12; Obad. 1:6).

   • Abba, empower Israel's elected officials, and not the leaders of the IDF, to decide Israel's policies over Gaza after the war (1 Chr. 12:38; Dan. 2:21; 4:17).

   • Hold Bibi to his resolve that Israel must be in charge of Gaza's overall security for the foreseeable future (Jer. 1:17-18; Ezek. 3:8-9).

5. Internal security:

   God is having us focus more prayer on Israel's extension of its sovereignty over all of its land – from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. This is clearly His will as He promised to do this more than 200 times in the Tanach, the Old Testament.

   • You said every truth is established by two or three witnesses, so seeing how often You promised Your land to Your people, we say amen and please do it now (Deut. 19:15; Matt. 18:16; 2 Cor. 13:1)!

   • Let Deuteronomy 7:17-26 begin to be believed and acted upon by many more Israelis.

   • We thank You that the Oct. 7th Hamas attack has shown most Israelis the dangers of the "two-state solution" as they see how Palestinian support for Hamas has increased since then (Psa. 35:20; 120:7).

   • Encourage Finance Minister Smotrich who is actively working to extend Israeli civilian rule over many of the Jewish communities within Judea and Samaria (Jer. 31:3-5; 32:41-44; 33:12-14).

   • God of Israel, increase the populations, homes and businesses of all of those Jewish communities, as well as those on the Golan Heights; in the Galilee; and in the Negev (Isa. 35:1-2; 49:19-20; 54:2-3).

   • Let the Samarian communities uprooted by ex-PM Sharon in his anti-biblical disengagement law, be repopulated and grow as Israel has now annulled Sharon's legislation (Isa. 54:2-3; Jer. 31:3-5).

   • While terrorist attacks increased in Israel since Oct. 7th, Lord, continue to cause most of them to fail or be discovered and stopped by Israel's security forces (Job 36:6; Psa. 31:23; 37:28; 121:4).

   • Lord, reinforce Your angelic hosts protecting Your nation today (2 Kin. 6:16-17; 2 Chr. 32:7-8).

   • Remove all demonic protection from off of every Palestinian terrorist group (Num. 14:9; Josh 2:24).

   • God, expose and nullify Iran's attempts to support terrorists in Israel in any way (Psa. 125:3-5).

   • Being a gracious and merciful God, we ask You to save many Palestinians, and release them from their satanic hatred against Israel and the Jews (Zech. 8:20-23; Matt. 5:44; Rom. 5:8-10).

6. External security:

   Israel is ready to wage an all-out war against Hizbullah in Lebanon, Iran's main proxy. Yet now Western nations and the UN are warning Israel against this. But Israel has been attacked by Hizbullah since Oct. 8th with thousands of rockets, missiles and mortars. Over 60,000 Israelis who lived on or near the northern border have been made homeless because of these attacks, yet only as Israel prepares to strike back to end this threat does the world raise its voice!

   • Fulfill Isaiah 66:14-16 from Shabbat's prophetic portion against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp [IRGC], which supports the Ayatollah's rule over Iran, and against Hizbullah in Lebanon.

   • We ask You to release as many Muslims as possible from the power of darkness (Col. 1:13).

   • Yet we also ask that Koranic Islam's eternal hatred against Israel would backfire (Ezek. 35:5-6).

   • Use their inflated pride to drag them down into destruction (Prov. 11:2a; 17:19).

   • Lord, be that wall of fire all along Israel's borders – including its seacoast (Zech. 2:5; Mal. 1:5).

   • Let the very real possibility of Israel attacking Lebanon spark the internal discord between many of the Lebanese and Hizbullah to burst out into the open (Est. 9:3; Psa. 109:29; Prov. 28:15).

   • Lord Almighty, take complete control of the timing and tactics of Israel's war against Lebanon (Psa. 96:10; Isa. 52:7b; Eccl. 3:8b; Acts 10:36b). [Hizbullah is part of the Lebanese government, so any war against Hizbullah will be in essence a war against that nation as well.]

   • Cause all IDF attacks to be so effective that the nation of Lebanon quakes in fear of both Israel and of You, Israel's God (Ex. 15:14-16; 2 Chr. 14:14; 17:10; Psa. 29:5).

   • God of Israel, prepare the IDF and Israel's civilians for this war (Josh. 1:11; 4:13; Psa. 23:5)

   • Anoint Israel to know how to respond to the expected extreme criticism from the nations when many Lebanese civilians and Hizbullah terrorists are killed or injured (Ex. 4:12; Isa. 54:17; Luke 21:15).

   • Concerning Iran, Lord however You do it, break the bow of Elam [ancient Iran] now (Jer. 49:35).

   • Also destroy Iran's modern king and princes, and set the Iranian people free (Jer. 49:38b)

   • Creator God, cause the earth to swallow up all of Iran's nuclear facilities (Num. 16:31-34; Psa. 99:1).

   • If You will use Israel as Your weapon of war instead, then oversee the timing and tactics to bring Iran's nuclear weapons program into total ruin (Prov. 21:31; Jer. 46:10; 51:20-25).

   • Encourage the Iranian Body to persist in prayer for Iran (1 Tim. 2:1-4), and for Israel (Psa. 122:6).

7. Aliyah:

   What a privilege to be alive to witness the return of the Jews which God promised at least 150 times in the Tanach – and for which so many generations of Jews have prayed. This is a blessing as well as a great responsibility as He commands His Body to be actively involved with this.

   • God of glory, sanctify Your holy name through the aliyah today (Ezek. 36: 23-24; Matt. 6:9).

   • Lord, reveal to every believer their biblical duty to help the Jews return to Israel – in prayer, through finances and good works, and by sharing with their Jewish friends that the exile is over and that they need to make aliyah as soon as possible (Isa. 49:22; 60:1-12; 61:5; Rom. 15:26-27).

   • Show believers how aliyah furthers Your will being done on earth today (Zech. 8:1-8; Matt. 6:10).

   • Abba Father, change Israel's relationship with Jews in the exile to inspire them to come home and to not in any way encourage them to stay there (Psa. 107:2-3; Isa. 11:11-16).

   • God, during this summer draw home many Jewish families (Isa. 43:5-7; Jer. 31:3, 8-9).

   • Bring good out of the explosion of Jew-hatred in the West by chasing many Jews home (Jer. 16:16).

   • Warn them that their birth-nation's security forces cannot, or at times will not, protect them.

   • Prepare "righteous gentiles," believers and others, who will hide Jews if needed and help them to return home in whatever way they can (Prov. 28:12; Isa. 49:22).

   • Accelerate all of Israel's plans to settle millions of new immigrants (Ezek. 36:8-12).

   • Show Jews who want to make aliyah where to obtain or find all the needed paperwork (Psa. 23:1-3).

   • Change the rabbinical definition of "who is a Jew?" to line up with the biblical definition and open Israel's doors to everyone You see as Jewish to easily get their citizenship (Psa. 119:116; Isa. 62:10).

8. Salvation:

   YHWH, save Your people, the remnant of Israel (Jer. 31:7b). This is what God told the watchmen [notzrim = Christian in today's Hebrew] to pray (Jer. 31:6a). While it is His will for all Israel to be saved, He also wants us to ask Him to do it (Ezek. 36:37; Luke 18:1; John 15:16).

   • Lord Yeshua, place the burden of Israel's salvation on Your whole Body (Rom. 10:1; Jam. 5:16b).

   • God, remove the partial blindness You placed over Your people in Yeshua's day (Rom. 11:25-26).

   • Lord Yeshua, show secret Jewish believers when and how to openly confess You (Matt. 10:32).

   • Save many Holocaust survivors; terror attack survivors; living hostages, including those freed since Oct. 7th, and their loved ones; IDF soldiers and their families; loved ones of soldiers who died or are seriously injured; Jews contemplating suicide for whatever reason; widows, widowers and orphans, especially the new ones since Oct. 7th; Jews on their deathbeds; rabbis of all Jewish sects in Israel and in exile; yeshiva students; lawyers, politicians, diplomats, university students, professors, teachers, medical personnel; Israelis in exile; LGBTQ+ Jews; hippies and those into the "New Age"; Iranian and Ethiopian Jews; Jews recently provoked to jealousy by gentile believers; unsaved Jews married to either a Jewish or gentile believer; unsaved loved ones of Messianic Jews.

   • Use Israel's increased isolation to turn many more Israelis to Yourself (Ex. 33:16; Deut. 33:28-29).

9. The Body of Messiah:

   Israel is the central factor in God's end-time plans. The good news of Messiah Yeshua has gone out from Jerusalem unto the ends of the earth and is now returning to its physical place of origin. Yet many other issues are also being worked out – such as the relationships of nations and individuals to Israel and the Jews. All of this has a major impact on the Body today.

   • Lord, teach more of Your Body to use the whole Word to discern what You are doing on the earth today, showing them the importance of verses like Jeremiah 31:35-37; 32:41-44 and Zechariah 8:1-8.

   • Lord Yeshua may Your Body take heed of Isaiah 66:1-2 in Shabbat's prophetic reading.

   • Cure the Body of its biblical anorexia and its prophetic illiteracy (Isa. 8:20; Jer. 15:16; Luke 16:29).

   • Reveal the biblical links between aliyah, Israel's salvation and Your 2nd coming to many more of our brothers and sisters in Messiah (Psa. 14:7; 147:2; Jer. 31:1-10; Zech. 14:1-4; Matt. 23:39).

   • Impart increased authority to the sons and daughters of Zion in Your Body (Matt. 8:9; 2 Cor. 2:17).

   • Replace all idols of "patriotism" with Kingdom of God priorities (Matt. 6:33; Acts 1:3).

   • Cast out every anti-Semitic and anti-Zionistic spirit from Your Body (Gen. 27:29; John 4:22).

   • Restore corporate prayer as one of the main burdens of the Body globally (Matt. 18:20; Heb. 4:16).

   • Teach the Body to pray corporately in line with Your Word (1 John 5:14-15).

10. IFI:

    You may have noticed that many of our prayers are often very similar to what we have prayed previously. We are obeying our Lord Yeshua who in Luke 18:1 tells us to pray persistently and to not lose heart. Also, as per the Greek of the original text, Yeshua tells us to ask, and keep on asking; to seek, and keep on seeking; to knock, and keep on knocking (Matt. 7:7-8).
