Shalom b'shem Yeshua haMashiach
Peace in the name of Yeshua the Messiah. Only His peace will uphold us in the midst of His shakings. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation [affliction; trouble]: but be of good cheer [be encouraged]; I have overcome the world.
(John 16:33)
End-time shakings are mentioned throughout the Word. We believe Jews are safer in Israel than in exile today because: YHWH shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but YHWH will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the sons of Israel.
(Joel 3:16)
God connects His end-time judgments to His people. Isaiah 34 should put the fear of God into all of humanity – both saved and unsaved. Come near, nations, to hear; and hearken, people: Let the earth hear…the world, and all things that come forth from it. For YHWH's indignation is upon all nations; His fury upon all their armies. He has utterly destroyed them; He has given them to the slaughter.
(Isa. 34:1-2) In the Tanach, the Old Testament, a future prophecy is often stated in the past tense, as here. God knows the future and that what He said in the past tense is what will definitely happen.
The why of God's threatened judgment is as current as today's news, since it is based on how nations deal with His people and land: For it is the day of YHWH's vengeance, the year of retribution for the controversy [strife] over Zion.
(Isa. 34:8)
The New Testament also warns of end-time shakings. He has promised, saying, 'Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven'. This word, 'Yet once more', signifies the removing of those things that are shaken…that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, we having received a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
(Heb. 12:26b-29)
We come full circle to that encouraging word in John 16:33. Yeshua is the Overcomer, and as we remain in Him, we too can overcome all that we are, and overcome in all that we will face.
The Church confirms God's promise to Israel
For centuries, Christian theologians and preachers have said the Church has replaced Israel as God's Chosen. Yet since the Tanach is still God's Word today, then the existence of a global Church of Jewish and Gentile believers, in truth confirms God's covenant commitment to Israel.
Without gentiles in God's Kingdom, His promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob could not be fulfilled. But the revelation of the mystery of Christ (Col. 1:25-27), that gentiles are one with Jews in Israel's Messiah, confirms God's promises to the forefathers. As Romans 15:8b-12 says: Messiah Yeshua has become a servant of the Jews for the truth of God, to confirm [establish; make more sure] the promises made to the fathers [of Israel], so that gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written, 'For this cause I will confess You in the nations, and will praise Your name'.
(Ps. 18:49) Again He says, 'Rejoice, O gentiles, with His people'. (Deut. 33:43a) Again, 'Praise YHWH, all you gentiles; praise Him, all nations'. (Ps. 117:1) And Isaiah says, 'There shall be a root of Jesse who shall rise to reign over the nations; in Him shall the gentiles trust' (Isa. 11:10)."
In all this we see God fulfilling His word to Abraham that in his "seed" (singular or plural or both according to the context), all families of the earth will be blessed (Gen. 12:3; 18:18; 22:18). The Holy Spirit through Paul says this pomise is the gospel to the gentiles (Gal. 3:8). How can the Church replace Israel when the Church is a branch of Israel's olive tree and supported by its root (Rom. 11:18)? Today's true Church is a living witness to the truth that God's promises to Israel are being kept!
Judea & Samaria = Israel's biblical heartland
US Ambassador to Israel Friedman affirmed Israel's legal right to be in Judea and Samaria, the so-called "Occupied Territories." He said the UN Resolution ending the Six-Day War entitled Israel to "secure borders," and as the 1967 borders were not secure, that meant allowing Israel to "retain a meaningful portion of the West Bank." Yet today, Israel only uses 2% of that disputed area.
Judea, Samaria and Gaza Council Foreign Envoy Revivi said, "Ambassador Friedman should be commended for using facts to describe the reality in Judea and Samaria…Peace is about two peoples living side-by-side and was never about ethnically cleansing Jews from Judea." ("YESHA Council commends US Ambassador for speaking the facts," Arutz 7, 29 Sept. 2017)
The US State Dept. rebuked Friedman "for legitimizing Jewish settlements," when in marking 50 years of "Israel's resettlement of the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria," he told an Israeli news portal that "settlements are part of Israel." State Dept. spokesperson Nauert retorted, "to be clear that our policy has not changed," and Friedman's remarks should "not be read as a shift in US policy." ("Trump Admin Rebuffs US Ambassador for Legitimizing Jewish Settlements," Israel Today, 29 Sept. 2017)
Israel Hayom staff writer, Nadav Shragai, says for "the Palestinians, the very existence of the State of Israel is a primal sin and the 'land for peace' paradigm could wind up sending us back to the pre-Zionist period." Yet the current US administration is pressing Israel to do just that. Trump's "peace" team – Friedman, Trump adviser/son-in-law Kushner, and his Special Representative for International Negotiations Greenblatt – inspect all "construction plans" seeking approval from "the Judea and Samaria planning authorities." And while Israel did get the go-ahead for a new settlement recently, the US is interfering with God's directive for Israel to possess its possessions (Obad. 1:17).
Israel has unwisely committed "not to issue construction tenders or market new homes” without US approval until the end of 2017. It is also "complying with the latest decree to not build any new industrial areas – a demand that even the Obama administration never made."
Most settler leaders off the record speak "harshly" about Israeli Prime Minister [PM] Bibi Netanyahu missing "a historic opportunity" to build up Judea and Samaria…" The only one to openly expose this "is Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage Minister and member of the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet Zeev Elkin," who said, "There was hope the Trump administration would change the old paradigm, and walk away from the Obama-era belief that Abbas is a [peace] partner, and that settlement construction is an obstacle. But sadly, that hope has been dashed … While we have to take the US position into account, when it comes to settlement construction we can also do things that Trump," does not approve.
Elkin added that while Israel complies with these requests, the PA blatantly flouts US requests by "continuing to pay salaries to terrorists and their families, continuing to operate against Israel in the international arena," and reconciling with Hamas – the terrorists who control Gaza. Why should they get away with this and Israel be restrained? ("Unsettled under the Trump administration," N. Shragai, Israel Hayom Op-ed, 20 Oct. 2017)
Jerusalem – God's red flag
While preaching on Zechariah 12, on how God says He is making Jerusalem a cup of trembling and a stone of stumbling for nations that dare to touch it, Chuck received an impression of God as the Great Matador, the world as the bull, and Jerusalem as God's red cape – which He is actively waving in the face of the world to test who is foolish enough to try and take it from Him. If your nation is part of that enraged bull – only intercession can prevent its destruction. And it shall be in that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
(Zech. 12:9)
Israel's former US ambassador, Zalman Shoval, says that there have been positive moves by the Trump team in dealing with Iran and UNESCO, yet his oft-promised US Embassy relocation has not seen any movement. The reason Trump gives for why he is waiting is "far more troubling than the decision itself, as it cited the supposed connection between the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and ME stability. There are those who see this statement as proof that the president identifies with the dogmatic, pervasive position held by many in Europe and in Washington that the Palestinian problem is the central if not the sole cause of regional instability."
Shoval asks, "Does he truly believe an Israeli-Palestinian peace "will bring an end to the bloodshed in Syria, Yemen or Iraq, end radical Sunni and Shiite terrorism that threatens most countries in the ME, and dampen Iran's hegemonic ambitions?"
Trump's desire for the "ultimate peace" deal is "an admirable goal shared by a majority of Israelis," yet it is "not true for a majority of Palestinians." This type of peace is what many Israelis have called for: "an end to the conflict and the demands on both sides," leading to "a genuine and ideological acceptance of Israel's right to exist as the Jewish nation-state." Yet there is no hint that this is acceptable to the Palestinian Authority [PA] and its current attempt of a "truce" between it and Hamas highlights this. As real peace is not possible at this time, the US embassy move is "being held hostage to Palestinian extortion." ("Perception versus reality," Z. Shoval, Israel Hayom Op-ed, 16 Oct. 2017)
The US State Dept.'s dealings with Israel continue to provoke God. It recently opposed an Israeli security plan for annexing to Jerusalem nineteen nearby towns averaging less than 10,000 people each. The US said it "would derail planned ME peace talks." So PA and Hamas joining forces is OK, but Israel wanting to secure its eternal capital is not?
This US "concern" caused Bibi to delay discussing this law, telling his coalition "that it was important to 'coordinate' major changes in Judea and Samaria with the Trump administration." While we understand this geopolitically, biblically this makes Israel seem like a vassal state to America. ("Senior US official: Trump concerned about Greater Jerusalem bill," Arutz 7, 29 Oct. 2017)
Land for peace? Just say "No!"
Most nations do not care that the people with whom they want Israel to make peace, and give away more of its land to, are terrorists or support terrorists and terrorism against Israel. But in dividing His land – which God specifically warned Israel against (Lev. 25:23) – this nation would be in greater danger since terrorist threats or Iranian nuclear weapons pale in comparison to God's judgments (Joel 3:1-2).
Maj-Gen. (ret.) Gershon Hacohen, while not including the God-factor, writes, "The greatest threat to the Jewish state's existence does not stem from the presence of Shi'ite militias on the Golan Heights border, nor…from a nuclear Iran…but rather from a Palestinian state established in line with the Clinton plan, which seeks the division of Jerusalem and an Israeli withdrawal to 1967 [indefensible] borders."
He says the government's restraint in endorsing construction in key areas in and around Jerusalem shows "the extent to which… the outline of any Israeli-Palestinian agreement" continues to see dividing Jerusalem as the basis for peace. Yet Syria's current situation proves "how reality changes in unpredictable ways…" So there must be "a re-evaluation of the basic assumptions on which the Israeli security concept was shaped with respect to the threat a future Palestinian state could pose…"
There has also been a basic change in expectations of both sides. When the Oslo Accords were signed, the expectation was "of reciprocity in the reconciliation process." Then as terrorism increased, that expectation of peace for concessions was replaced in Israel by the goal of complete separation. "As those supporting the separation trend" started telling Israelis that this was necessary "to preserve Israel's Jewish and democratic nature, the more the Palestinians' bargaining power grew." After all, if creating a Palestine in Judea and Samaria is an Israeli interest, "and Israel is willing to do so to preserve its future, why should the Palestinians give anything in return?" They are getting "what they want by virtue of their national right to self-determination." All this increases the risk that an Israeli withdrawal will confirm the Arabs' goal of getting all the territory they think belongs to them – from the river Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea.
Besides the security issues, a senior Fatah official in 2009 on Lebanese TV explained how a two-state solution leads to Israel's collapse. If Israel abandons Jerusalem, "what would happen to all their talk about the Promised Land and the Chosen People? What of all the sacrifices they made?" They see Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as their historic inheritance, "and if the Jews leave these places, the Zionist idea will begin to implode."
This correct view on "the significance of the spiritual-Jewish dimension as a condition for the continued existence of the State of Israel," leads to the conclusion that the creation of Palestine in the midst of Israel's God-given land is an existential threat. ("The danger of imploding," Maj-Gen. G. Hacohen, Israel Hayom Op-ed, 8 Oct. 2017)
Dror Eydar agrees on rethinking the basis for peace, and wonders if the Israeli Left, still clinging to the "land for peace" formula, is "afflicted with dementia…convinced we are back in the 1970s or 80s," before the failures of Oslo, Camp David, and the Gaza disengagement. "The old paradigm operates on the assumption that the 'occupation' occurs only in those parts of the country that Israel seized in the '67 Six-Day War," yet while Jews focus on that, the Arabs look further back, to Israel's rebirth in 1948, as "the original sin." Some would even point to the 1917 Balfour Declaration," or "the first wave of Jewish immigration" in the 1880s. Obviously, this conflict "isn't territorial – it is over the Jewish people's basic right to a state in our homeland." ("Replacing the old paradigm," D. Eydar, Israel Hayom Op-ed, 20 Oct. 2017)
Peace with whom?
An abusive husband who murdered three Israelis joined a long list of depressed or mentally ill Palestinians who, by killing Jews, transform themselves into martyr-heroes. Not only does this show that this culture is ruled by demons, but it affirms God's Word, that cursing His people brings a curse. (Gen. 12:3; cp. Isa. 5:20).
Nadav Shragai writes a "healthy, sane society" cares for its deranged, but "a society that glorifies murderers is criminal." A society that exalts terrorists "as role models, is a sick society that is no less deranged than its most disturbed members." Yet these people are exalted in PA books, media, and mosques, as their society turns "its most problematic, marginalized, least valued members into its most valued," if they kill a Jew. This mindset is bred "in an environment that exalts terrorism; in a society that methodically raises its children to hate Israel and Jews…" ("An insane society," N. Shragai, Israel Hayom Op-ed, 8 Oct. 2017)
A JP Editorial said the PA's rebuff of the Balfour Declaration show that they "still refuse to recognize Israel's existence and casts further doubt on the possibility of ever achieving peace with them." Their "ideology of rejectionism" is based on the fable "that a Palestinian nation existed for thousands of years and that there never had been a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem."
They see British "support for Zionism" as the start of Jewish history in the land, and that Balfour was a "precursor of Hitler's attempt to answer 'the Jewish question'." A Palestinian Authority documentary states, "Faced with the Jews' schemes, Europe could not bear their character traits, monopolies, corruption… European nations felt that they had suffered tragedy by providing refuge for the Jews. Later the Jews obtained the Balfour Declaration, and Europe saw it as a solution to get rid of them."
This linking of the PA narrative with Nazism is ominous. For example, in 1998, the official PA daily said Hitler and Balfour had a common goal, with this difference: Hitler "did not have colonies to send the Jews to, so he destroyed them"; Balfour had Palestine to send his Jews to. So Zionism was used by Europe to set the West free of the Jews. [Al-Hayat al-Jadida, Dec. 6, 1998]
The depth of this delusion is "mind-boggling." Abbas' religious affairs adviser said, "No person besides Muslims ever used [the Western Wall] as a place of worship in all of history, until the ominous Balfour Declaration in 1917." [Al-Hayat al-Jadida on Dec. 18, 2012] A Fatah spokesman recently went further, calling the Balfour Declaration "the most horrible crime in the history of mankind." ("Balfour & Hitler," JP Editorial, 4 Nov. 2017)
The PA & Hamas try to reconcile again
This time, the PA is demanding that Hamas disarm. A senior Hamas member said to Lebanese media, "The path of armed struggle has proven itself and the path of agreement with Israel hasn't led anywhere." In other words, they will keep their arms. Another spokesman agreed. "[We] will relinquish the weapons in our possession only after the homeland [all of Israel] is liberated…" ("Hamas vows it won't disarm until Palestine is liberated," Israel Hayom, 8 Oct. 2017)
US Mideast Envoy Greenblatt said about this reconciliation, that it is essential for all parties to adhere to the Quartet [US, UN, EU & Russia] principles: "any Palestinian government must unambiguously and explicitly commit to nonviolence, recognize the State of Israel, accept previous agreements and obligations between the parties, including disarming terrorists, and committing to peaceful negotiations…"
Israeli Minister Bennett thanked America for its clear stance, stressing that "Israel will not negotiate with a Palestinian government dependent on" Hamas, until it "disarms, recognizes Israel, and returns…captured citizens and the bodies of fallen Israeli soldiers." ("US in line with Israel on PA-Hamas reconciliation," Arutz 7, 19 Oct. 2017)
Hamas rejected all US demands, accusing it of "interfering in matters that belong only to the Palestinian people." And at a Gaza rally, a high ranking military leader openly said, "Gone is the time when Hamas discussed recognition of Israel. The discussion now is about when we will wipe out Israel…" ("Hamas to Trump: We want to wipe out Israel, not recognize it," Arutz 7, 20 Oct. 2017)
Hamas also vowed to guard its close ties with Iran. Recently they exposed Iran as "once again the group's biggest financial backer and arms provider," after a break in relations over Syria. ("In defiant note, Hamas vows to maintain Iran ties," Israel Hayom, 23 Oct. 2017)
Israeli Muslim Khaled Abu Toameh wrote that Iran's renewed influence in internal Palestinian affairs, "does not bode well" for PA-Hamas reconciliation. In fact, Iran's current "efforts to increase its political and military presence in the region, does not bode well for the future of stability in the ME."
Iran urged Hamas to resist disarming so that it can "maintain and enhance its preparation for war against Israel." In Tehran, the Ayatollah Khamenei, told Hamas officials. "The Palestinian cause is the most important cause of the Islamic world…"
Hamas sees this visit of top officials to Iran "as a rejection of Israel's demand that it cut off its ties with Iran…" This also helps it to "resist any demand that it abandon its ideology and charter" calling for Israel's destruction and opposing all peace attempts.
Iran's support is not out of concern for the Palestinian cause, but from its goal to rule over the ME. The lesson from all this "is that Hamas has not changed one iota…Hamas is not headed toward moderation and pragmatism. By openly supporting Hamas, Iran is once again demonstrating that it aims to fan the fire in the ME and continue to sabotage any prospects for peace." ("The Iran-Hamas Plan to Destroy Israel," K. Abu Toameh, Gatestone Institute, 23 Oct. 2017)
Iran's grasping for ME hegemony
Trump announced he was not recertifying "Iran's compliance with the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), [aka] the Iran nuclear deal." Netanyahu told Fox News this "historic and bold" move will help to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. "Iran is the foremost terrorist state of our time. It hangs gays, jails journalists, subjugates women," and abets terrorism worldwide. To allow this regime, "whose economy is 30 times the size of N. Korea" to acquire a nuclear weapons arsenal in less than a decade, which is what the JCPOA allows, "is a terrible folly."
Bibi, a staunch foe of JCPOA before it passed, is now focused on stopping Iran from having atomic weapons. "You can achieve it either by fixing this bad deal or by nixing it." An acceptable deal would not make "restrictions on Iran's nuclear program" depend on a timeframe. There first has to be "a real change in Iran's behavior…" Also, Iran must be prevented "from developing intercontinental ballistic missiles that are only useful for nuclear weapons." (As we write this, Iran just threatened to increase its missiles' range to be capable of striking Europe if Europe turns against it.) Also, there must be "real inspections. Right now, Iran doesn't allow you to inspect military sites…but where do you think they're going to hide these things?"
Speaking on CBS, Bibi "noted the wide consensus in the region, in a rare example of Arab-Israel unity, for tougher conditions on Iran," telling the West, "when Israel and key Arab states agree on something…pay attention… We live right next to Iran." ("Trump made a historic, bold decision on Iran," Arutz 7, 16 Oct. 2017)
Avi Issacharoff writes that Lebanon is "pro-Iranian, pro-Syrian, with Hezbollah firmly in control. The Lebanese president is…an Iranian and Hezbollah appointment," and its army cooperates and coordinates with Hezbollah, which "is a state-backed (Iran), state-dominating (Lebanon), terrorist army that makes the Islamic State look like a bunch of Boy Scouts." ("Lebanon now a full on Iranian proxy," A. Issacharoff, Toi Analysis, 4 Nov. 2017)
With the defeat of the Islamic State in Syria, President Assad's "regime and its Iranian supporters" are retaking territories from "Western-backed Syrian rebel groups." Yet Israel is their ultimate goal. Speaking to Shi'ite fighters in Syria, an aide to Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei, said "The resistance line starts from Tehran, passes through Baghdad, Damascus and Beirut to reach Palestine." ("Iran Using Success in Syria to Menace Israel," ICEJ News, 9 Nov. 2017)
US-Russian Syrian cease-fire is bad news for Israel
It lets Iranian troops "remain only 5 km. from Israel's border." What is Trump thinking? On Nov 25, reports were that he backed off on closing the PLO Washington office because they threatened to cut ties with America, and that he will no longer supply Kurds fighting in Syria with arms. "America first" and to hell with the rest of the world spells disaster – for America (Gal. 6:7)!
Responding to the Syrian deal, Bibi told Russia and America, "Israel will continue carrying out strikes in Syria" in line with its "security needs." He also publicly criticized the deal, as it does nothing "to stop Iranian expansion in the area…"
Israeli Intelligence Minister Katz reiterated Israel's redlines: It will "not accept Iran, its affiliates and proxies basing themselves in Syria, which will be a permanent threat and a constant source of tension, friction and instability." And Defense Minister Liberman warned that Israel "will not allow the Shi'ite axis to establish Syria as its forefront base." ("… Israel will act in Syria 'in accordance with our security needs'," JP, 13 Nov. 2017)
As we finish this, there is a report that Israel has watched over its declared red-lines by bombing an Iranian military facitilty just outside of Damscus, killing some Iranian soldiers in the attack.
Prophetic scenarios
Europe vs. God:
Journalist Giulio Meotti mentions "The Paris Statement," which some of Europe's most influential intellectuals issued in mid-Oct. They reject the "false Christendom of universal human rights," the "utopian, pseudo-religious crusade for a borderless world," and multiculturalism, and call instead for a Europe rooted in Christianity: "The patrons of the false Europe are bewitched by superstitions of inevitable progress. They believe that History is on their side, and this faith makes them haughty and disdainful, unable to acknowledge the defects in the post-national, post-cultural world they are constructing. Moreover, they are ignorant of the true sources of the humane decencies they themselves hold dear," by ignoring or repudiating Europe's Christian roots. "Yet they take great care not to offend Muslims, who they imagine will cheerfully adopt their secular, multicultural outlook."
Meotti notes that Pope Benedict saw Europe as "doubting its very identity," and in 2017, it went further, "creating a post-Christian pro-Islam identity." Even Europe's official buildings and exhibitions have "been erasing Christianity and welcoming Islam." For example, the €56 million EU Parliament-backed "House of European History" museum opened. Its goal: "to create a historical narrative of the postwar period around the pro-EU message of unification." Yet it sees the French Revolution as Europe's beginnings, with little said of what came before. The Napoleonic Code and Marx's philosophy have a prominent place, and slavery and colonialism are shown as Europe's darker side. But the "most remarkable thing" is that this version of history rejects "religion" as having any impact. "No longer is European secularism fighting the Christian religion; it simply ignores every religious aspect in life altogether."
An EU-funded exhibition, "Islam, it's also our history!", held in Brussels, traced Islam's impact on Europe. Its official statement says its goal is to help "European Muslims and non-Muslims alike to better grasp their common cultural roots and cultivate their shared citizenship."
What is the "logic" of Europe's "animosity toward Christianity and its attraction" to Islam? It's now clear why thousands of Poles held "a mass protest along Poland's borders," stating their opposition to the "secularization and Islam's influence," which the EU is now backing. ("Europe's New Official History Erases Christianity, Promotes Islam," G. Meotti, Gatestone Institute, 18 Oct. 2017)
UN vs. Israel:
Aiming for the rise of a 'Palestine' on God's land, the UN and PA have joined forces in a wide-ranging program. "UN Development Assistance Framework State of Palestine," will see the "active and visible participation of the UN in the PA's diplomatic struggle against Israel." From 2018-2022, the UN and its organizations will support this $1.3 billion initiative. Its goals are "ending the occupation, mobilizing international support, blaming Israel, and strengthening Palestinian ties" in the world.
Page 16 of the plan also says, "The UN will support efforts to protect the Palestinian character and identity of East Jerusalem, the future capital of Palestine…" Keep Joel 3:16 in mind.
Israel's Foreign Ministry correctly labels this plan as "an attack on Israel." ("UN Launching $5 Billion Plan to 'End Occupation,' Blame Israel," Jewish Press, 27 Oct. 2017; "UN earmarks $1.3 billion for Palestinian independence," Arutz 7, 29 Oct. 2017)
Gog & Magog:
A recent meeting in Sochi, Russia, between Russia, Iran and Turkey to plan the next steps in Syria, was held without any American representation. Is this what Ezekiel 38:13 hints at, saying at the time of this attack against Israel, many other nations do nothing but ask questions? ("Ya'alon to Trump: Enough about nuke deal, pressure Iran on regional terror," JP, 29 Nov. 2017)
Insightful wisdom from Israel's PM
Welcoming Christian media representatives to Jerusalem, Bibi encouraged these journalists to speak out for Iranian Christians. He has warned the world about Iran, but on this occasion he wanted to spotlight the persecuted. "Some world leaders are willing to ignore this repression and seek to appease Iran, but I am not," because "how a country treats religious minorities is a very good indicator of how it will treat its fellow citizens and its neighbors." ("Israel's PM calls on Christian Journalists to stand for Iran's persecuted believers," www.charismanews.com, 18 Oct. 2017)
In an October bible study at Bibi's official Jerusalem residence, he said, "There is no Jewish existence without the Bible," and added, "There is also no Jewish future without the Bible." ("PM Netanyahu hosts Bible study at his official Jerusalem residence," Israel Hayom, 4 Oct. 2017)
Your word, O YHWH, is settled forever in heaven.
